I've seen in past years how some of these other tire shops scratch and mess up rims when changing tires and don't have top of the line balancing equipment. They not only beat everyone else's prices on the brand I wanted, but the owner went to pick them up Friday morning himself, so they'd be ready for me. They also did my alignment. Great job and great prices. The most interesting thing though was watching their kids helping around the shop. One of them even made fresh coffee!! Good parenting. It seriously felt like I was in an episode of shameless. Second, my card was charged twice, the first charge had taxes and the second didn't, making me believe the second charge was done maliciously. One of the women yelled and cursed at me when I called about being overcharged. My bank took care of it and am glad that nightmare is over but I will be observing my credit card closely in case they stored my information. I had provided *exact* specifications of my leveling kit, and may have inadvertently mistaken the brand of the kit, however as I stated, I provided the correct specifications. Was told that they could install it and made my appointment. I drop off my vehicle this morning for service after getting out of work. It is not until 3:30PM that I receive a call stating that they are unable to install my kit due to the *brand* of my kit, and subsequent suspension geometry issues. The issues are out of my control, and also out of Southern's control; my issue is that I am five days out of my return period for my leveling kit which I was told three weeks ago, was fine and fit my truck given the specifications. Now I don't have the kit installed, nor can I return it for something that better fits my suspension geometry. I wish I had been better advised when I called them almost one month ago to make my appointment. Thanks.
