I would give six stars if I could. I was notified I had a water leak in my home via the EyeOnWater app. The hardest leak to find is when there is zero evidence of water anywhere. West End Plumbing came out immediately and started the leak detection process of capping off one pipe at a time until they found the leak. That took a half a day. The leak was under the concrete slab in my garage. They ran new piping inside the garage. they did a terrific job and also installed a new hot water heater. Property I was managing had a significant Plumbing Leak discovered during an inspection. The Upstairs bathtub leaked down through the ceiling.. On this job, the company receptionist let me know it would be would be $100 to come out for the service call plus whatever the repair cost. I told her I had one of their coupons for $29. So that was helpful. The service tech Pete arrived with a helper. He evaluated the situation and told me it would be $199 to which included the price of the service call. He then looked to see if he could affect a simpler repair from upstairs for the same price instead of replacing the drain pipe from below , which I appreciated. He found he needed to order parts so another visit was necessary and we rescheduled. The technician Pete was professional, knowledgeable and very nice. I would definitely recommend him. There was a concern during the subsequent process that required follow-up, and I appreciated that the owner personally reached out to address it. He clearly cares about his business and customer satisfaction, which I respect. I issue was resolved satisfactorily. The issue was resolved satisfactorily. I've become quite familiar with West End Plumbing over the last few years. I've used them for a variety of plumbing issues ranging from installing a new hose bib to resolving clogs to fixing leaks. Overall, I have been satisfied with their work. One things I like most about West End is how easy it is to schedule an appointment with them. They have always seem to have free times or they tell you that they can squeeze you in, which is great. Even when they've been completely jammed up, they've been very accommodating and flexible, which was much appreciated and crucial when dealing with plumbing issues. Another nice aspect of West End Plumbing is their reliability. In all my experiences with them (and it's probably 4 or 5 total), their plumbers have never failed to show up on time and they always do solid work. So this is definitely a company you can count on when something happens. While they do have some important positives a mentioned above, I do have to comment on their pricing which is not so great. West End Plumbing definitely tends to be on the higher side when compared to other area plumbing companies. While this is definitely a concern, sometimes, when there are no other options available, I kind of feel like it's worth paying a bit extra to ensure a job is done quickly, efficiently and effectively. Sometimes plumbing issues just can't wait. Overall, I like West End Plumbing and would recommend them. While they may not be the most affordable option out there, their service and professionalism have been consistently good. This is the 2nd time I have used West End Plumbing and I would definitely use them again. The first time I used them was about 3 years ago to change a couple of shutoff valves under the master bathroom sinks and then install 2 new faucets. The 2nd time I used them was yesterday (11/13/25) to install a new water heater. In both cases, the plumbers West End Plumbing sent to the house were: knowledgeable, competent, experienced and cleaned up after themselves. And they were both extremely informative and nice. I found West End through Yelp's tool of finding businesses for your "projects" I wrote my needs and they responded quickly with an estimate for their service call for a plumbing issue. Ted came to my house in the scheduled time and assessed the situation. After listening to my needs and walking around the property he went back to his truck to write up an invoice. Once he had it ready he sat with me and walked me through the different services that it will take to get my bathroom issues fixed. Gave me price estimates and gave me a copy of the paper. I have used West End plumbing in multiple occasions with satisfactory experience and even have refered them to my neighbores occasionally. My lastest experience however is not up to par with the rest and I no longer have trust in their work or pricing. They charged me $650 for a leak detection which truned out to be the wrong pipe and leak continued. After making multiple calls for six day since my first call, they told me that perhapse the second pipe is also leaking and I must pay for second leak detection but I declined. I asked for a qoute for re-routing the pipe from outside and I was given an estimate for $6k which was close to twice as much as the next qoute I received from a different licensed company. I leave this review because I almost spent a week with this company while the pipe had a visible leak and water was coming out of the wall in my family room. Every moment I was thinking I am dealing with professionals and they will take care of us but I am disappointed. At personal level I liked some of their plumbers and if you are okay with paying higher prices and your issue is a trivial one, you may even be happy with their service like I was at the beginning. People who did the work were great, but office support was iffy at best. Always had to have someone return my call, but usually never did and i had to call back. They were good plumbers, but could have been great General Contractors. There were many things they did not cover in their contract, like resod, fixing cut sprinkler lines and fixing cut low level electrical lines. They should of had a list of contacts that could have cleaned up the things they did not cover, but no such suggestions. The few sprinkler pipes the thought they fixed, were still broken. I'd use them indoor again, but beware of clause 3. No responsibility for things they broke. Up us to find what they broke and fix it. That sucks. read more

Alright, time to get the band back together! I called the team because we had two toilets that weren't refilling after a flush. Come to find out, they had to rebuild the insides. It's a "Pro Flow" toilet that had stopped working. I guess they are known for being a terrible brand. Anyhow, the team came out, and got to work. They were done before I knew it. As far as CSR comments from Adam, his company records every conversation EXCEPT for ones that occur on cell phones. Obviously he has some issues that he's covering for. Thankfully, a few of his employees explained to me this is how he screws customers which is why I recorded the exchange on site. Do not hire this company. My family has been working with Adam for years. Unfortunately, things have changed. So much so, that it just got so heated for them not doing the job correctly initially, that I asked for my money back on both visits. Adam said to me, so now you're asking for your money back after giving me a negative review? And do you always live this angry? Truth be told, no I don't. But if I hire and pay for something, I expect it to be done properly the first time. In addition, I was willing to pay for another visit (which I did) and was even willing to have them do the larger job (my reason for today's call) except with how he handled today and refused to acknowledge past issue - he won't be getting anymore of our family's business. Further to that Adam, as noted, I asked for stuff to be done correctly the first time because my Mom (one of your customers) is dying of cancer and my time is limited... and you didn't skip a beat and focused more on a negative review than acknowledging that maybe your company is at fault. read more

Our toilet would not flush. I called and got a plumber the next day. Our tech was very nice. But the price he quoted us to change a seal was criminal $199!!! The seal cost $8 at Home Depot. He encouraged us to replace everything ( $350+) because eventually the seal would lead to further issues. I cannot refer anyone to this company that obviously takes advantage of their customers. A leak was detected in our garage in Cooper City FL which appeared to be coming from the water heater. Arrangements were made with Adam at West End for a new unit to be installed the same day 5/15/2024. The technician Mike, arrived on time and within 2 minutes explained to me that the issue was not the water heater, but the AC and replacement of the unit was not necessary. I am very impressed with the integrity and honesty of this company and will use them in the future. As it turned out, there was a blockage in the drain line and the float valve in the AC had malfunctioned. I would highly recommend West End Plumbing from my experience. read more

Very very disappointed with this company. Had a service call 2 weeks ago because my shower was leaking down to the apartment below. My drain pan is old but not the cause of the leak. The leak is from the gasket around the drain which has come unsealed. Plumbers went down to the apartment below (owners gave us access) and was able to see the piping. He then went straight to his truck and said my best bet was to get a new drain pan. I advised I was not able to afford one at this time I just needed the gasket fixed now to prevent the leaking downstairs. He tried to call his boss but got no answer, he said he would have him call me later. He gave me a quote for a drain pan (almost $2,500) said "just don't turn in the water and it won't leak" I told him I wasn't using the shower but it's still leaking he said "as a plumber for 30 years it's not leaking" no call from manager, the next day my neighbor advised it's still leaking, slow leak. I called left message for manager still no call back. Turned out my shower head has a slow leak which was going down my drain. I figured it out. It's still leaking, just into a bucket, I don't know how to turn the water off from the handle. This company took my money for a service call, never fixed the leak, and I never got a call from the manager. The plumber himself was nice enough but was in a hurry. Spent less than 10 minutes minus the time to write up a quote. Very bad service. I do not recommend them Adam I don't see a contact us link in order to reach out to you. Do you have an email address. Yes your organization called me after the fact asking when I would like to schedule the drain pan installation. They were very responsive and was able to come out to our home within a days time, if not the same day. They were able to get all the work done in a reasonable time also. However, the prices for me were way too expensive, and just unreasonable. For example, they charged me $100 for an angle valve, when at other retailers this piece was less than $30. I really didn't like the options I found however I am very appreciative that I found WEP and Adam. Adam made it simple and presented a few good options for me. He was very generous with his time and kept his word. He had a team out that day and completed the job exceeding my expectations. Michael Russow was the Sr. Tech that worked on my install. I ended up going with an 80 gallon stainless steel tank (that also came with a good warranty). Mike didn't rush the job and took the time to make sure everything lined up properly and look good. Yesterday I noticed water collecting in the metal pan under the hot water heater. It's supposed to be dry. I really thought I was hallucinating - in November we had a house flood and it destroyed walls, cabinets and floors. So I just didn't think it was possible that we'd have yet another leak. Looking closely at the bottom of the tank, we saw rust where the tank cylinder and end cap meet. I called West End to report the problem and they said we were years past the 1 year parts/labor warranty but we might want to call the manufacturer. I did and Rheem issued a return authorization number while I was on the phone with them. THAT is service! The rep said I could go to any authorized Rheem distributor/installer but I told her that I'm going to use West End. They've installed 4 bathroom faucet sets, 1 kitchen faucet/sprayer, 1 hot water heater and a toilet in my house. I know I can trust them to replace the unit. Then I called West End and got an appointment - not only the same day, but within the hour! When Pete arrived, he explained that Rheem is replacing the tank completely but I'm responsible for West End's parts/labor/return fees. It came to $495 - but for another $75 they will restart the warranty clock - both the 1 year parts/labor warranty and the 6 year overall warranty. You know I went for it... So, the 'drama' of the hot water heater leak was a one day event. Here's what I learned: We shut off the circuit breaker to the hot water heater and turned the handle on the top of the heater to stop the flow. I took pics of the label on the hot water heater so I could provide the serial number and model number to the manufacturer rep. Rheem had us check the insulation under the two metal panels on the side of the heater to find out if it was wet or dry. You'll want a Phillips screwdriver near! If you don't mind the hot water being redirected away from you and towards whatever else is consuming hot water, get a tankless. If having your shower go from hot to cold bothers you, unless you can prevent someone from doing laundry or the dishes, you should not get a tankless. I got a tank. I like hot showers - beginning to end! I loved how Carla and Randi took care of me on the phone and how Pete was professional, clean, friendly and fast in replacing the unit. I'm happy. We scheduled for the following day. The installer, Mike, was courteous and patient in answering my questions. He did a great job in installing the new water heater following code specs which is important to me as I want them to pull the permit with the city and clear an existing code violation I inherited from the previous home owner. Ted from West End Plumbing is the Fixer! When no one else can figure it out, Ted is the man! Another plumber wanted to remove tile to get to the pipes for the bathtub to work, a huge expensive job! Thank God Ted came to the rescue. He knew right away that it was a minor repair and got it working perfectly. Today he repaired the leak under the kitchen sink. Apparently, the guy who installed the water filter did not install it correctly and it was leaking. Ted replaced the tubing and connectors, and quickly repaired it. Ted is the best! read more

I had a plumbing emergency where I had to shut off the main water supply. I called West End because they did some good work for me in the past. They showed up within 2 hours. The plumber was very nice and empathetic to my dilemma. He did a great job and in a short period of time. It was a bit expensive because it was after hours on the weekend. He explained to me that they had to charge an emergency dispatch fee which is standard industry practice. I did some research after the fact and realized that he was right. I'm glad I called them instead of the other guys because it would have been more expensive. The overhead price of doing business these days is ridiculous. All things considered this company bailed me out of a jam in a professional, timely manner at the best price I could find under my circumstances.
