I saw Milan opened a location in Newnan recently, so I went online and asked for some information. I almost immediately heard back from Danielle. She texted me for over an hour answering all my questions and concerns and booked a consultation. I went in for information and left having my first treatment. I went with full face and neck and added armpits because why not. GUYS. 1 treatment and I have only had to shave my pits ONE TIME. Drastic change for someone who was having to daily shave to battle the forest under her arms. My face and neck? I have a hard time not getting emotional when I look in the mirror. I was told to expect about 30% reduction after 1 treatment but I stand here typing this review telling you I think I'm seeing about 60-70%. I only have had to touch up one area on my chin and lip maybe once a week. I let my husband touch my face. It's smooth. It's not as dark. I went in for treatment 2 today and my eyes teared up as I discussed my results with the other Danielle who actually performs my treatments. Everyone here is so nice. Over the past few months, my appointments have been canceled multiple times, which has already been frustrating. However, my most recent visit was the final straw. The provider, Kyra, was extremely rude and came across as aggressive throughout the appointment. When I asked questions, she seemed irritated and unwilling to explain anything, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The situation became so uncomfortable that I actually chose to leave in the middle of the service, which I have never done before anywhere. That alone should speak to how negative the experience was. On top of that, the way she performed the treatment was completely different from any other provider I've seen there, and not in a reassuring way. The entire experience felt rushed, inconsistent, and honestly very uncomfortable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend the Columbus location. I had to have a MOH procedure for skin cancer. It was in a very noticeable place on my face (right between my nose and lips) so I was very fearful of the end result. I was nervous. But their whole team made me feel very much at ease and Dr. Chastain was a true professional. If I -- God forbid -- have more skin cancer to deal with, this will be my preferred doctor and facility for sure. I've been here twice for their IPL treatment. Both times, the staff has been kind and professional,…read moreeven when I ended up 15 minutes late for an appointment. The first time, they treated me on an IPL machine that targeted brown spots. I noticed the effects right away, with my freckles appearing darker before they eventually came off a week later. During my second appointment, they booked me with a dual IPL machine calibrated towards both reds and browns. This also worked well with my skin. Since I am of asian decent, I am of higher risk of side effects when IPL is not administered properly, so the staff was very careful and considerate. Pain wise, I would rate this treatment a 6/10. Not pleasant, but not traumatic either. Forewarning for those considering IPL to target redness and spider veins: while you might notice a decrease in redness, my aesthetician informed me that this effect is temporary! Eventually the veins will resurface :( Both appointments were quick and easy, and I am very satisfied with the results. side note-- this is definitely a side effect, but I also noticed that the hair on my upper lip was zapped away and never really grew back post-treatment.
