I am giving 2 stars for the apartments themselves, very modern and new but the outside is a lot…read morenicer than the inside. The whole apartment complex is pretty small, with not a ton of parking. They do not have elevators, the staff here are not kind at all and they overcharge for what they offer. The inside of the apartments are pretty dark and have dark features/appliances which doesn't help. The bedrooms are tiny and the only thing large in the apartments are the laundry rooms. They have garages available for rent as well. Overall, overpriced for what they are offering. In a good area though and close to the main freeway.

UPDATE: In response to businesses response. I spoke with one management after moving about the…read morecharges, via email. They essentially just sent me pictures of the blacklight on a couple of spots (as you'll see below). So this is to warn other people of overcharging issues. I was charged a $350 pet fee/deposit and a monthly pet fee if $35 dollars. The $350 dollar non refundable pet "fee" is the same as a pet deposit because it is a 1 time payment for purposes of pet damages which would have paid for the blind that was messed up. If it is for anything else than I would complain that it is unclear that it is not used for the same purposes as a deposit and is a way for the company to charge money for no reason. Literally no reason if it's not for the pet. I lived there from 2020 to the very end of 2022 (over 2 years). The last year and a half they charged me an extra $150 a month just because I didn't extend my lease and became months to month! They also increased my rent twice. My rent went from 1,600 to 2,100 in just two years. Your current leases have nothing to do with my experience. It also has nothing to do with my review because it shows that if your business feels like it they just bring the rent up. If you dispute this point again will add photos of my receipts over time. Your damage pictures are deceiving because it was literally a flashlight/black light being shown in a couple of spots up close and said "cat urine" in the email. Anyone with an oz of sense will realize that black light picks up on many things including FLOOR CLEANING DETERGENT and any other white microscopic substance... like FLOOR CLEANER. There is nothing scientific about black lights. And I cleaned the carpets every month with my own personal steam cleaner and used baking soda on my carpet regularly (a white substance) as a trick I learned while young. Sprinkle it on your carpet and then later vacuum it. Kind of like putting baking soda in the fridge to stop odors before they start. Your company just wanted new carpets and are trying to charge me for it. Also, the company did not offer a move out walk through or offer this "black light" at move in so I could insure any lit up spots were not there before moving in. ORIGINAL POST: This apartment complex seems nice at first but the it is cheaply made. The balcony door does not seal so I was getting expensive $200+ electric bills every months for a 1,100 sq ft apartment (other reviews have the same problem). They have a terrible bug/spider problem on the lake side, which I called them about multiple times but they never really did anything. People leave their dogs poo so it makes it smell really bad on the lake side. They hike up the rent $150 to $200 each year (I was there 3 years) and change you $150 a month if you don't renew your lease and are month to month even though you've already been there for years and not having a lease at that point costs them NOTHING. Because they don't allow smoking on their property, people smoke pot in their apartments and it floors throughout the complex in the vents and makes everything smell horrible when they could just let people dont on their balconies to they wouldn't hide it. When moving out they will make up damage that wasn't really there and have been trying to charge me $1,100 to replace all of their carpet when it didn't not need to be replaced when I moved out. They will also refuse to use your pet deposit for any pet damages, like they're supposed to (since that's what it's for). EDIT: Just in case they comment on the move out fee I'll edit ahead of time. Other reviews on here have had the same EXACT problem with them. So when I moved out l, the carpet was nice and clean. NO pet stains what so ever. There was in spot where I spilled something but it quarter sized spots and could be patched easily, also it was time for the carpet to be replaced just because it was at least 3 years old. Unfortunately, the complex decided to make up a way of claiming the the carpets had pet damage in both rooms to make me replace the carpet by using a black light which will pick up on cleaning detergents (I steam cleaned regularly). So one room my car was never allowed in, and they claimed that the light picked up stuff, the other room had a small patchable area, but it wasn't from a pet and they made up that the whole carpet was ruined. They did NOT allow me to do a walk through with them. Also, they didn't not use my pet deposit toward ANY damages (the blinds my cat did chew on) and want it all to come out of my pocket and used my pet deposit and pet rent to pad their own pockets for no reason whatsoever.
