It is not wheelchair accessible as there are no lifts (i.e. elevators). The station itself is fine, usually clean. There is a waiting room that is supposedly heated but the radiator does always work. Outside of the station you get some un-safe vibes, maybe is just me.

Due to a lift issue at Harrow and Wealdstone Station, I had to take a half an hour detour out of my…read morejourney to continue on my Southern Railway train to Harrow Station, only to end up waiting for another train to take me back to Wembley Central, which goes on the opposite platform with a working lift, this trip to the station because of this was an unwanted one. Harrow and Wealdstone Station is a train station in the Harrow area of London, and for ticketing it is classed as region 5. This is quite an old station, to the point where it was made a Grade II Listed building in 1990. The worst ever British railway crash in 1952, which killed 112 people also sadly occurred here at this station. The station is managed by London Underground but has both Underground and Overground trains. As mentioned this station is pretty old, and it has nothing too special about it, it doesn't have a lot of shops or coffee-shops in the station. Services from here go into the likes of Milton Keynes, Wembley Central and London Euston, with the London Euston being an Overground or London Midland service, as I recall this calls at Wembley Central, so if you're going to watch a football match at Wembley this station isn't too far away for you in terms of getting a train into Wembley. As mentioned, a decent yet not fantastic overall level of more local train connections run from here to the likes of Watford, Milton Keynes, Wembley and London, and this station isn't terrible but overall as it lacks any special feature, other than being a Grade II listed building, I sadly feel Harrow and Wealdstone Station deserves a two-star rating, which even then is a little generous.

Very quick to get in / out of the station - just mind where you entered and where you exit. Used the Oyster card and found it very easy to tap in / out. The staff working there are very friendly and will help you out if get confused. Just remember they have 4 platforms and the above ground trains help you see that. Found their bathroom & snack shop very useful for the 35 minute trip into London!

Wembley Central is one of the main train stations serving Wembley Stadium, around a 10-15 minute…read morewalk away. I used this station before and after watching Manchester City's FA Cup Semi Final fixture against Arsenal. There are four platforms in use at this station with platforms 1 and 2 being both railway and tube, which is strange as they use the same platforms so it can be a little confusing if you aren't from London. After the game, there was some trouble here with Arsenal fans trying to wind up the City fans, meanwhile I managed to prove how nice City fans are by actually giving an Arsenal fan directions with me back to Euston, most trains from southbound platform whether they be tube or rail do call via Euston, The Underground Bakerloo line, London Midland, Overground and Southern all have services from here. Overall, the station is a small station typical of most of London, no shops or anything inside but it is set out more like a tube station rather than an actual railway station. Due to an issue with long trains and short platforms, Virgin Trains don't stop here and might stop nearby at either Watford or Milton Keynes to get a train to here, otherwise you can just carry onto Euston which is probably the best option, which I found out the hard way. The staff at the station seemed mainly unfriendly, apart from one person which I guess is better than nothing. This station caused me so much issues when booking my tickets, to the point where I was on the phone for hours to find out whether this station is accessiable or not, and it is from Platforms 1 and 2 for Overground and Underground services and not 4 and 5 for London Midland and Southern services which is confusing and frustrating and something needs to be done to clear this up and ease confusion. 2 stars for location being so close to Wembley and having probably the most regular trains from the most regular destinations but due to so many flaws I sadly can't go any higher than that for Wembley Central.

Conveniently located next to the Underground/Train station and the twin Harrow Shopping Centres of…read moreSt Ann's and St George it is a major travel hub in Harrow. The bus station is not large as such but has a rectangular layout with bus stops on both sides with waiting space in between. The stops are clearly marked and there is an electronic arrival/departure timing boards showing the list of bus routes where buses are expected. The station has a newsagent that sells stuff you need during your travel and also has option to top up the Oyster card as well. There is a small 'Treats' snack shack where you can get small bites and drinks. The station gets extremely crowded during peak times. One of the popular route is 140 which is the service to Heathrow Airport, and is a 24 hr service. As I said, it delivers but nothing to rave about.

It has always had a bit of an ongoing thing where it plays classical music throughout the building - I think there was some old thing where classical music prevents kids from staying at a location. Regardless, it's quite nice (although that may be my age aiding that opinion!). The actual layout is a bit of a mess as the buses often get backed up trying to get into the stops around the back of the station as it just takes a little traffic and it all jams up. Plus whenever a bus stops at the first stop around the back, it inevitably jams everything up again. Sadly though, it's a victim of its own success as there simply isn't the footprint available to change the layout to something better since it backs directly onto the underground tracks.

From early snogs, to puking up after a N5 nightbus trip from Soho, to being chased by weirdos, to witnessing a stabbing to having a quiet moment to contemplate the Menorah that was always set up over Hannukah. Zone 5 on the Northern Line, it doesn't really get much more exciting than this.

Wembley Park is rocking on a match day or for a concert, and then on other days it's slow and sleepy and serves a little windswept community of middle-income Northwest Linden. Match days are when it comes alive and I love it here at both times. It's amazing although I really really miss the old school Wembley, which I was thrilled to visit a very long time ago when I was a very young child by myself - but don't tell my parents - to see a Michael Jackson concert.

One of the platforms has a well heated waiting room. Both platforms have ample seating along the platform. Coming out of the station you have your usuals, but what is unique is they have a side room for bycycles to be parked in at your own peril. They have a newsagent and a flower shop which is attached to the station. Yes! their are areas that could do with a little update but it really isn't that bad. Grubby...I don't think so! This station is in a rich area, if it was that bad someone would of complained about it by now.

Greenford is situated on the Central Line of London Underground, and is also the terminus of the…read morebranch from West Ealing, from where trains continue onwards to Paddington. The first station on the site was on the Great Western extension line and opened in 1904, although this closed when the Central Line was extended from North Action as fas as Greenford in 1947. The Central Line was extended to its present terminus at West Ruislip in 1948. The station is essentially a large island platform situated on a viaduct, with a single terminating bay platform in the middle for the Paddington trains, providing a perfect interchange. The street level buildings are in a straightforward modernist style, the ticket hall having a raised roof with fully glazed walls, giving it a light and spacious feel. There are a number of small businesses in the ticket hall. The Central Line operates at roughly 4-5 minute intervals off-peak, reducing in the evenings and on Sundays. The Paddington to Greenford service operates half hourly Mondays to Saturdays (closed Sundays). Oyster pay-as-you-go can be used on the Paddington service, making a useful interchange with the District Line at Ealing Broadway. Buses E6, 92 and 105 (to Heathrow) stop outside the station entrance. For train anoraks, the terminating platform still retains its GWR-style lower quadrant semaphore signal, and there is a semaphore signal gantry on the adjacent National Rail line as well.

Based outside in West London, Greenford Station has quite a lot to offer, Connections to Paddington…read morethat takes about 25mins (good for when the Central Line has major delays, this overhead service will at least get you into London to catch other underground lines), Currently June 2015 the station is being upgraded to allow step free access and has also had an up escalator installed during the last 6 months, as there has been a big increase In the number of people using this station within the last 5 years, I'm lucky and travel out to Greenford from Oxford Circus so most of the time once past White City, I get a whole carriage to myself most days. Station has a cab office just past the ticket barriers, coffee shop and newsagent (where you can also top up your Oyster card of the queue is too long at the Oyster machines), plus bus stops directly outside the station, I would give this 5 stars but it loses one as there is no train information near the ticket office (showing you how long you have until the next train is due, you have wait until you are up on the platforms to see the train indicator boards, and many times I have just missed a train).

There are both male and female toilets which is rather unusual for a station of this size, and it boasts some beautiful hanging baskets, greenery and benches.
