Her: "Oh, we don't charge, we only ask for donations to St. Judes for Children, whatever amount you chose (something to that effect). She gave my watch to the gentleman and I follow. She follows, I gave her $10. She looked at me like I pee'ed on the floor, Her: "We usually charge $25. to have the links removed". Me: You should have said that to begin with when I asked you & NOT under the guise of "donation" to charity. Donation is what I give & not what you dictate I give. No wonder they ask for all your information, they want to inundate me with emails which I also reiterated I do not want to receive. She stood there right next to me most of the time & asked the man if he can do it, and again came back to give me my receipt and to explain their "donation". I didn't want to hear none of that and just explained to her the difference between donation to charity and getting charged. I couldn't wait to get out of that Toxic environment. If I could, I would have high tailed it out of there except he already started pounding on the links. Yes, pounding. My philosophy? If you want to donate to charity, do it in your own company name and not through others in the guise of "Oh we do not charge, it's just what you are willing to give" and shame you if you fall short of what they think you should give. 3 links removed, $25.00. Sadly, after this experience, we'll never do business here again. My son dropped off two brand-new uniform shirts to have one patch sewn onto each. We were charged $76. After another uniform store quoted about $5 per shirt for the same work, I called simply to ask about the pricing and whether any adjustment could be made. Instead of professionalism, I was met with hostility. Gary refused any refund or adjustment, the conversation became confrontational, and after I said I would never return, I was told I could find my shirts "in the middle of the street." I was forced to involve the Rahway Police Department just to retrieve our property. When I arrived, I was yelled at, was kicked out of the store, and informed that I was no longer welcome. The only resolution offered was store credit. To make matters worse, when we got home we discovered that both brand-new shirts were missing the exact same two middle front buttons. They were not missing when they were dropped off. I cannot say when or how it happened, but finding identical damage on both shirts only added to an already unacceptable experience. Charging whatever price you choose is one thing. Treating loyal customers with disrespect and hostility is another. I cannot recommend Blue Line Uniforms to anyone.

I've been coming here for three years, a loyal customer without issue. I provided them a dress shirt, brand new out of the pristine packaging from Nordstrom. No stains. I just needed the creases out. I went to pick it up, and unfortunately still full of creases. No problem, it happens. I ask them to redo it as it can't be worn like that. I go to pick it up again, and now it's covered in stains. These stains were not there when I handed it to them, or when they gave it back to me the first time. No idea where they came from, but I noticed it right away - dark brown and throughout the entirety of the shirt. I pointed it out, and they took it back while I waited. They reluctantly fixed it. Regardless, I'm not sure why I gave them a clean shirt to be pressed and then it came back with stains. The woman then told me to find another dry cleaner if I wasn't happy and that it wasn't going to be perfect (unprompted as I was leaving). Im not expecting perfect, but I do expect to be handed a shirt without stains, especially when it was given to them without. I found this to be hurtful and rude. As a loyal customer, I would have continued coming back and assumed it as a one off. The fact they were so dismissive and not taking ownership was incredibly disappointing.

I took several cotton shirts…read morein for laundering and was told 4 of them needed to be dry cleaned despite the care tags that said "Machine Wash". I said no dry cleaning. When I got home, I noticed the receipt for 3 of the shirts was marked DC for dry cleaning. I went back and explained to Julie that dry cleaning chemicals constrict my airways and make breathing difficult, and asked for them back. Julie offered to do a regular cleaning at the dry cleaning price, stating at different times it was 1) because the shirts were different 2) because he boss told her they had to be dry cleaned 3) because the computer wouldn't let her change it. I declined and asked for the shirts back, and was told I would have to come back in 2 days. When I pick up the cleaned shirts, It will be the last time I use them.
