I also had the Prenatal cell-free DNA (cfDNA) screening and everything came back great with no problems. All was reported as normal and great. I had subsequent normal and regular visits with Dr Grisham and a sonogram by him at 17 weeks, where he reported that all was fine. Then, I had my normal 20 week scan with the MFM (literally 3 weeks after my reported "normal" scan with Grisham) and the MFM immediately said there was a HUGE hole in my baby's spine. My baby girl had severe open spina bifida, hydrocephalus of the brain and other related issues. The problems were so obvious that I (not a doctor) could easily see them on the screen with no medical training. So, how did Dr Grisham not see these issues at all the entire time? Literally 3 weeks before I could see them? ***Note that I posted this previously and somehow it was removed. ***

Then she was firm and professional. My c- section went well, quick, and I think pretty much to plan. Same with the recovery. 3 stars bc of her office. Probably 2 for the office itself and 4 for dr innes. So balance to 3. I'm consistently there for one hour and only seen for 5 min. Sometimes it's bc she "just ran out" I wish they would call me ahead of time and just ask if I want to wait or reschedule. I hateee waiting. The nurses are very efficient and sometime Jaut cold. I don't get the feeling they're very open to questions so I save them for dr. Innes. Scheduling is nice and relatively efficient. But sometimes I come in and I have no idea what the heck they're going to test me for or what is going to be done. The admin part sucks the most. Lost my leave paperwork, filled it out incorrectly, didn't respond to leave claims for my husband. Ugh. I had to fill it out myself. So annoying. If I do decide to have a third child, probably won't come back.

PREVIOUS Review: This review is mainly for Heidi, the RNP who conducted my physical today but I've had a lovely experience already communicating with multiple office staff from making our appointments to the experience in the waiting room and with the various assistants who took vitals, drew blood, etc. We just moved to the area and needed to establish ourselves at a new Family Doctor and since I just like to get everything done at once one time per year, they were able to accommodate simultaneous appointments for my husband and I to see Dr Weldon and Heidi. I was seen first by Heidi but Dr Weldon was running behind (NBD, it happens). Heidi was energetic, engaging, and I really enjoyed our conversation during my appointment. I was here for a very simple reason - just an annual physical but I am confident I'll get awesome care anytime I need it. Healthcare can be so impersonal these days so I really appreciate that she spent time actually getting to know me and that she genuinely seems to care about every patient's health and well-being. They do their best to offer same day sick appointments if ever needed, and they do most of their blood work in house (and you are drawn here too, which I appreciate not having to schlep to a lab on another day) If today's visit is any indication of future visits then I know we made a good choice!

If you are on the fence on finding a dentist or wanting to find a new dentist, congratulations you've just found your forever dentist. I am very picky about dentists, it takes time to build trust and know that you're in good hands. In fact, I kept the same dentist for ten years and traveled over an hour to make each appointment. I was very apprehensive and wanted to stay with what I knew. Life got busier and then COVID hit, I fell behind in my dental visits and I took the opportunity to do some research to see if there was a dentist closer to home. I am so glad I did. I was very impressed at the new technology that Dr. Bartz uses, it definitely made the visit easier and seemed to go much faster. The office was very clean and beautifully decorated, I was very comfortable at all times. The staff was very accommodating and wanted to make sure I was comfortable at all times. My experience with KB Dental and Dr. Bartz was first-rate all the way, I'm thankful to have found a dentist I can trust so close to home.

I am a cancer survivor and have other health concerns so a GOOD doctor that I can talk to and who will address all my concerns - no matter how small - is a must for me. I tried going back to Odessa every few months but when some issues with my blood came up, my doctor felt like it was time for me to find an Internist in this area to be more closely monitored, so I began my search. I got some recommendations from my Hematologist - four or five names. I called several at random because I did not really know anything about any of them. I ran into problems like, "not taking new patients", "we don't take that insurance", etc. I called Dr. Anamekwe and was able to make an appoint fairly quickly. Honestly, I had put her farther down on my list because I have hearing issues and I was afraid I would have trouble understanding her, but I decided to give it a try. After making my appointment, I looked her up on the internet to see what I could find out about her. Her clinic is Vivify Wellness Center and I found out that they had a weight loss center. I thought, "Oh boy! I am looking for a doctor to address my health concerns and all she is going to be interested in is my weight." I have struggled with my weight for many years. I have been to many weight loss clinics. Trust me. I know the drill, but for some reason I decided to give it a try anyway. I was pleasantly surprised! Dr. Anamekwe is delightful, very personable, easy to understand, and took an ample amount of time with me. All through my visit, though, in the back of my mind was, "When is she going to hit me with the weight loss." I NEVER happened! We talked about all my history. She told me how she was interested in treating all my issues to the upmost of her ability; she shared her philosophy on medical treatment; and she never mentioned the weight loss portion of her practice - I had to ask her about it. She told me if I were interested in that, I would have to make another appointment just for it because her medical practice is separate. I was impressed. I have now been seeing her for almost six months. She discovered I was pre-diabetic. I am going today for blood work that I expect to tell me that I have completely turned that situation around. I did join her weight loss program, which is really just a lifestyle change, and I have lost over 30 pounds. The plan is easy and I am never hungry. I have very few cravings but when I do, I have learned that the taste of that food is not nearly as good and the way that lower number on the scale makes me feel. I am looking forward to getting off some of my medications - I currently take NINE. (Can you imagine the cost of that!) Recently I told her, "Dr. Anamekwe, you are going to save my life." She answered, "No, I am going to be the instrument God uses to save your life." Wow, when was the last time you got a response like that from a doctor? I thank God for putting the obstacles in front of me when I was searching for a new Internist. I know He led me straight to Dr. Kene Anamekwe.

They guy that took my info before the test was very nice and friendly and knowledgeable. The girl that conducted the test was very careful and gentle. Instead of the test bugging me, it actually tickle me. If you need to do the test for Covid and for whatever other services they perform there, you are not going to regret going there.

DO NOT go to the Frisco location, the wait lines are 2 hours long and they don't even send you your results. I got tested for COVID initially at the Frisco location and did not receive my results or any notification of my results. I called the Frisco location but they never picked up the phone. Eventually, I was able to get a hold of the Plano location's number and spoke to Fatima and she was super helpful! She immediately solved my issue and gave me my results and provided wonderful customer service. If you can get tested at the Plano location or even the Allen location please get tested there!
