Chris and Torie are the epitome of customer service. Torie keeps in touch with you, providing the door code, instructions, etc after you book the room. Chris is always eager to provide and show you what they have in the studio to make your experience as professional as possible. They have almost everything you can think of or didn't think of in the studio. He helped us to get set up, made sure the equipment was working and gave us an orientation since it was our first time there. Acoustically, it's great. Walking down the hall, the other band was really cranking it and you could hear them playing through the door in Studio A. But once we got into Studio B, we couldn't hear anything else except ourselves. They also keep everything clean and as sterile as possible. I walked in on him wiping things down and vacuuming giving me confidence that I was entering a clean environment. Our very first band practice was a success thanks to West One Studios. We just needed a little more time for practice which I'm sure we will on our next one that will be very soon! Except for the lack of close/cheap parking I would definitely recommend these studios. Today was my first time going there to rehearse with my band. It was an amazing experience. Everything you need in regards to PA, mics, mic stands, guitar stands and amps are there. They also had a mixer and extra cords. You only need to bring your own instruments. You don't really interact with anyone but your band. You reserve your room and you show up. Our room didn't have a QR code to Venmo, but we paid cash and put money in the lock box. Don't even think of trying to steal anything because there are security cameras. Room A drum set didn't have a nice splash cymbal so you should bring your own. Or if you are in general picky with your cymbals for drums then definitely bring your own. What I like about this place is that everything is conveniently set up so all you really need to do is plug in and play. West One is THE practice studio to go to in Hawaii. The location is awesome, parking could however be a little better.. There are NO stairs to get in and out of the room, major plus if you're hauling your own gear. The room has perfect AC (with a million fans everywhere). It's a heavily treated room, so every instrument complements each other and just sounds great. The studio provides all the essentials (2 carvin cabs, 2 combos amps, an ampeg bass rig, full PA system with monitors, numerous mics, and a great 6pc pearl drum kit loaded with cymbals and stands). Basically if you were to just show up with guitars and bass, you could play with a full band comfortably with the equipment they provide. There is also a fridge in the room, a nice touch. The PA system could use a sub if you have a backtrack or something with a lot of low end, but overall not much of an issue at all. The owner Chris is extremely helpful and very very prompt with answering any questions and/or requests. He is by far the easiest dude I've had the pleasure of working with scheduling practices and everything for a studio. We currently do weekly sessions and don't plan on changing anytime in the future. There is only one room, so the calendar gets booked up fast! Definitely schedule in advance or do a monthly thing. It's worth it if you practice frequently. Give this place a shot!!! read more

They literally have everything you need to practice and record (excluding your instruments). It's amazing how much detail they put into making sure you're all good to go. Even things you wouldn't think of like a mini fridge, Uv light that kills bacteria for small items, and a secured door. Then there are the things you need, such as a sound mixer, a heck of a light of microphones and music stands, a desktop Mac for guess recording, and so much more. A couple three places looked good so I called and being new, had a bunch of questions and concerns. This spot is definitely one, if not my all time favorite, place to rehearse. The rooms are well put together, clean, and large enough to fit a full band comfortably. Very affordable too. Everything you'd need to record or rehearse, from the tiniest details like an aux cord, a dry erase board with working marker pens, to cables, stands, drumsticks and everything in between, seriously this place is perfect.
