You've got all your staples - snacks and soft drinks, mags (including ones out of reach for the kiddies), smokes of all sorts and of course - lottery tickets. Yep that's main seller here and I have even hit a couple times here off a couple scratch offs. The guys in here are friendly enough but the hours aren't that of a say NY bodega and the selections are pretty limited for a bodega if you are coming for snacks and drinks. It's enough but when compared to what you'd expect from one along with your lottery tickets you'll be let down that said I'm glad it's stuck around a a staple in the neighborhood in the face of 7-11 and S. O. Pharmacy across the street.

Anyway, the first time I walked in, I didn't feel very welcome because the service wasn't very friendly. I was not greeted at all, and the owner and workers just stood there and stared. I just wanted some cigarettes, if they wanted my ID, I wouldn't have a problem showing it. The 2nd and 3rd time I visited, it was a little better because one of the workers recognized me so I at least got a "hey, how're ya?" **In other words, I'd appreciate it if the service was better here.** Moving on, I found this place because I attend Seton Hall university, which is only a mile up the street on South Orange. A friend of mine introduced Davidoff cigarettes to me and I came down to this little shop to find it. Great enough, they actually had some, although very pricey at $11 a pack. Apparently, I bought the last two packs and I'm not sure if they restocked.

I've tried a handful of items here, but a standout favorite has to be the Wyld edibles -- which I first discovered in California. I was so excited to see them on URB'N's shelves! What really completes the experience, though, is the outstanding customer service. Every staff member I've interacted with has been friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely happy to help. They never rush you and they actually take time to guide you toward what you're looking for. Overall, URB'N rocks because it's a great vibe, impressive selection and consistently great service. The best thing about this dispensary is its convenience and their staff (security?) that greets you upon entering the front door. Aside from that, I'd say be very very cautious. They like to hurry you along, no courtesy or respect if you'd prefer to browse or ask questions, and even worse, they do NOT inform you about otherwise "hidden" fees after purchasing products. They don't share anything in advance. You either know already or you'll find out after the fact. Horrible! I'd recommend you use cash only. It's the safest bet! Otherwise, be aware that they do not accept credit cards, only debit. And keep in mind that for using your debit card there will be an additional $3.50 surcharge (and possible a fee from your bank, depending on who you bank with). The Apothecarium's system will process your transaction as an 'unauthorized' atm purchase/withdrawal. There are other dispensaries all around if you're into it, so this is not the only space. If you do go here, proceed with caution and at your own risk. Twice within the past few years was enough for me! That second chance was the last. Tiny parking lot with minimal spaces on the side of the building. It's easy to miss so look closely or you'll bypass it.
