Similar to the experience, the wine was fantastic. We got to try a few different kinds that were all very good. I was very impressed with the quality. From the Blanc Du Bois to the Vin du Soleil, they had wonderful tasting notes and an equally pleasant aroma. If you've got a free day, consider paying them a visit! A tasting room set in the middle of a vineyard on a hill surrounded by trees. A great surprise. There is a fairly large selection of wines to fit all kinds of tastes. Even people who have a hard time finding something they like will probably find something to their taste. The flights are well worth it. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. As for food, they make their own homemade pizza which was excellent. Except for the fact that it's on the smaller side, I would actually put this up against any place in Fredericksburg.

After tasting several different kinds (from the flight), I settled on hibiscus as my favorite. There is a varying range of sweetness, and the hibiscus was definitely on the sweeter side, but I was in the sweet mood. I also really enjoyed resting beach face, which is a lot less sweet but has all the fruity notes. If you've never tried mead, it's worth heading on over here and giving the Ferm Meadery a try!
