Kept ignoring MRI results showing severe knee ligament damage, leading to a long term injury that could have been prevented by surgery. CONTINUALLY billing me every month for 6 months for a copay that my insurance has stated I am not responsible for because as they are "in network" there ARE no copays! Had to threaten legal action for a cease and desist court order due to the illegal billing harrassment. There HAS to be a medically better and financially more proficient Orthodpedic here in Midland, West Texas! read more

I've seen two of the doctors and they were both very caring and attentive. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I find it ironic the lady at the front desk with an attitude has the name Karen Quit being a Karen Karen I thought maybe a bad day with my first encounter but have been in the office several times Same thing Having said that the staff is nothing but professional! read more

I went to Dr John Dean for right shoulder pain. I had been in pain for months and previous provider would not give me an injection due to my medical history. Dr Dean diagnosed me correctly and gave me an injection and now I am pain free. Best experience and office staff was so nice. read more

I was banned for life from the office for absences and tardies. If I have a work conflict or am immersed in something at work, I am likely to miss or arrive late for a doctor's visit, so this was inevitable, although I was shocked they went through with the full ban. Today I was 15 minutes late for an 8:00 am appointment because I decided, at the last minute, that I needed to write another email to someone at work regarding the plan for that day. I had been absent before without leave. Game over. If you believe you are even a little bit likely to be late or absent, I don't recommend this office. If you are always punctual, present, and squared away, you should have no issues with their policy. That said, the doctor I saw, John Dean, seemed very capable and I was pleased with his standard of care. My complaint is with the policy - which I never had a prayer of being able to satisfy - not with the medical care. read more

Dr Dickins is a great surgeon! The staff - scheduling in particular - is not. Checking in at the office is difficult because the staff do not even look up from their computers (usually 2 or 3 of them!) to see you are waiting. Then scheduling for surgery was a nightmare. I would definitely go elsewhere if not for Dr Dickins. read more

Can't seem to talk with anyone on the phone before I have surgery, always going to voicemail. Really stressed out.

Waiting in line to be called to the window to check in is understandable. Waiting close to 10 minutes while two ladies sit behind the glass typing in their computers without even acknowledging the presence of patients waiting to check in is poor customer relations. Once check in, I was advised to sign a HIPPA form and let her know when I was done. I waited until she had finished checking in the current patient and stepped forward and asked if I could return the form. She told me no, the patient in line waiting to check in was there before me. ??? I wasn't told to get back in line to turn in the form. I was also told to keep my mask above my nose (my bad) while they sat behind the glass with masks below the chin. I'm sure once we go back to the exam rooms, we are all breathing the same air. She used all the polite words when interacting with me, but the manner of interaction was not considerate. Once past the reception, all nurses, techs, and doctors were friendly and professional. All done and ready to leave... and the exit drops you outside of the office. To check out it appears I have to go back in and stand in the line again. No thank you, send me a bill. read more
