If go to last entrance, directly across from sidewalk to theater, the attendant lets you in for nothing if you tell him going to the movies. It was a "blast from the past" to be back there after all these years. It was clean and well maintained though not really updated. We went to the smaller of the two theaters. Seats not too comfortable and due to lack of incline felt like you were looking up the whole time. Found myself squirming around a lot so that wasn't great. Still, glad it's re-opened especially if will provide some much needed movie variety.

Most of the time there are only one or two people working the counter, and many of the employees come across as rude, uninterested teenagers with little customer service. There have been multiple times we've arrived for the last showing only to find the concession stand already closed or closing, or they've completely run out of popcorn. The biggest issue is that the posted showtimes are unreliable. Twice we've checked the movie times online, arrived on time, and been told the movie had already started because "the times online are wrong." That's completely unacceptable. Today was the third time in the last year that we showed up for the 8:45 p.m. showing, only to find the entire theater closed. The lights were off, trash was scattered all over the outside, and there wasn't a single employee in sight. The days of the Rifle movie theater being a dependable, enjoyable place are gone. It's become a hit-or-miss experience every single time. This theater desperately needs consistent management on-site, accurate showtimes, and mature, responsible employees who actually care about providing good customer service. It's disappointing to see what this place has become.
