Wow - I was impressed. This is a huge mall and for a Super Saturday, the weekend before Christmas, it was like being transported back to the mid-80s in a time without internet. Almost wall to wall people walking and shopping. My brother and I though were on a mission with limited time so we dodged and weaved politely in the crowds to make our way to the Knoxville Smokies store. The Smokies are a minor league team with an affliation to the Chicago Cubs. We love the older logo of the Bear with the word Smokies above and not so much of the newer logo. I did find a beanie and my brother found a visor. The team behind the counter were very kind and helpful as we added a couple of smaller items to our purchases. The Knoxville Smokies' official store sells on-field caps and new novelties, merchandise, collectibles, trading cards and supplies. Go Smokies! read more

Date of incident: 4‑7‑26 at West Town Mall My girlfriend and I go to this Surku all the time, but today was the worst experience we've ever had. I was outside on a business call when she came out crying because of how she was treated. She always orders plain white rice with teriyaki chicken. Instead, she was given rice with vegetables. When she told the male employee it wasn't hers and pointed to the correct tray, he argued with her and insisted the wrong order was hers. When she tried to correct it, he slammed the lid down so hard that sauce splattered onto her. He refused to speak to her or make eye contact. I went inside to calmly address it. The woman at the counter told me they "don't have" regular rice. When I handed the food back and asked for just the chicken, she threw the food into the trash in an aggravated way. I ended up receiving only half of what I paid for, and I didn't even ask for a discount just to avoid more conflict. I don't know their names, but the male employee is easily identifiable -- he's the same person shown in Google photos working at this location. read more

No clue why this mall has a 3-star rating because it is great! Almost every storefront is filled, large food court, areas for kids, wide walkways to avoid congestion, and ample parking, including a parking garage. There are also an abundance of stores and restaurants on the outskirts of the mall. The size of the mall is perfect. Goldilocks would love it because it is not too big or too small, but justttt right. Easy to navigate and walk without feeling overwhelmed and the space is light, bright, and clean. We are always so impressed with the variety of stores, including a number of locally-owned shops, which I haven't seen in other towns we have lived in. The only negative? The bathrooms are grouped over by the food court, which is challenging with littles who need to go ASAP. read more

I had to come in here to get my phone battery replaced and had a few hours to kill. Took some time walking around and theres a good selection of stores and activities. Not like the galleria but i digress its still decent. After hours of waiting I got told the battery may not be ready by tonight and i should come back tomorrow. I had been there waiting for almost 4 hours at that point what was taking so long and that i would have to wait until tomorrow. That could have ruined the experience but luckily the tireless workers at Apple offered a free charger and hit the wildest buzzer beater not seen since Damian Lillards insane game winner. I was pleasantly surprised how nice this mall was. I moved to TN from IL, where the massive Woodfield Mall is located, so I was worried there weren't any good malls in the country. It was clean, not crowded and had a good selection of stores without being overwhelmingly huge. The food court was okay. I got a falafel sandwich that was tasty, but overpriced for the tiny pellets of falafel on it. I'll definitely be back when I'd rather shop indoors than outdoors at Tanger Outlets. read more

Since remodeling a couple years back, the mall looks great! There is not a huge selection to choose from for my style of clothes. When I am here I frequent Belk or Express and occasionally Dillard's. I was super sad when Gymboree closed because I always found cute items for my son. There are a few cute boutique stores that have recently opened. We needed something to do indoors and we decided to head to West Town Mall. There was a good variety of shops that appeal to a variety of ages. My two year old was excited about Build-A-Bear, my husband and I liked BoxLunch and my mothers favorite was Williams Sonoma. We also ate lunch in the food court and ultimately had a nice afternoon. I recently visited the mall and discovered the Loco Burro restaurant as well as other new stores and found this mall is healthy and vibrant. This place offers a variety of shopping and eating to include a fish spa not sure about that but who knows. You can buy sporting goods at Dicks to fine clothing as well as get your nails done to getting a facial at Erosthetics ask for Faith Jones the owner. My son's loves shopping at West Town Mall, here in Knoxville, Tennessee. Most of all we love when West Town Mall have our favorite events like trick or treating at the mall, back to school events and the arrival of Santa Clause each year. Regal Cinebarre Movie Theater is our family fun event at West Town Mall. My favorite store is Bath and Body works, Melissa and James; Danny always makes every customer feel welcome. I am handicaped and due to the heat I parked in the enclosed garage where I had to assemble my electric cart which is heavy and take about ten minutes. I proceeded to the elevator and the first thing I noticed was the elevator was so filthy it made a homeless camp look inviting. I punched the button for the first floor and the door shut and went nowhere. I was sorta scared and I pushed the button to communicate and no one answered. After a while the door opened and I thought I pushed the wrong button so I went back in and tried again. Same thing. I went to the second elevator and pushed the button and after about five minutes no elevator. I was then faced with the decision to reassemble my cart or navigate the drive down to the entrance. Wrong choice as I was nearly hit by a car making a short cut on the tight turn. A few skid marks and me nearly messing my pants. I decided to report it to security or maintenance but after a hour I wheeled myself to the management office. I knocked on the door and no response h. I later called and the nice lady said "sorry about that, the elevator repair service was supposed to put signs up". No signs any where. im writing this review hopefully to help another law abiding citizen and if i could give you a zero i would but since i cannot ill just write my experience and explain why ill never be coming back to west town mall or any business in there. I went there with my 15 year old daughter and her friend and after dropping them off at the door first, i returned to the same door and it was through dillards i think, but it might have been belk but anyway, i thoroughly scanned the doors because i had not been into the mall since governer lee reinstated constitution carry but i do know about the signs and i saw no such sign as i entered either on the outside or inside set of doors forbidding me from carrying my weapon if i had wanted to. Being unfamiliar with the lay of the land i had left my weapon in the car this time but i HATE doing that because i dont have a trunk and i worry about it or my entire vehicle being stolen and letting my handgun into the wrong hands and i almost returned to grab it but i though, better check the inside doors going into the mall first, be thorough and responsible. so i pass through dillards and as i enter the open mall part,i checked both sides and it was hard because those doors are so wide but i did not see any signs. at this point i just thought, well, im sure ill come out for a smoke before 2 teenage ladies will be ready to leave a mall,lol, so i can retrieve my weapon then and i went on in, met them at the apple store, we made some plans and went our separate ways for the next hour. I was up by the cigar store when i saw the time had almost passed so as i walked out of the cigar store i noticed there was an exit right there and i figured well, ill go on outside where i can light up and walk around even though its probably longer, i probably need the exercise anyway too,lol. As i walked out there was a couple entering so when i turned to be sure i held the door long enough for them to safely pass so i can let go, i saw it !!! I was HORRIFIED !!! THE SIGN !!! no handguns under penalty of 10 years !!! Yawl need to do so much better at making sure EVERY entrance has a sigh thats EASY to find and easily read. im not sure if it would stand up in court but it could cost tens of thousands dollars to find out and since i dont go into any business that doesnt appreciate me risking my own life to carry a weapon to protect myself and possibly them and thier property also you can guarantee i wont be back to west town mall and this post is just to help other gun right activists know to be very careful if they do choose to come onto this property that west town mall doesnt care if your safe or not. I saw one unarmed security guard and two police officers while there, none of which looked like they were gonna put up much of a fight OR even run past about a half block,lol... NO GUNS but bring your wallet !!! sad sad sad not to mention someone going to jail for 10 years because your too lazy to put up the signs correctly !!! I really hate giving this mall that low of a review. I like Simon malls as they are usually nicer and have the stores I want to shop at. We came here today take our son to see Santa. I realize this is not solely a Simon issue, but I believe that they have some oversight select the Santa vendors. I have always visited Simon malls to take my son to see Santa - 4 years running now. Our visit to the West Town Mall in Knoxville may have made it our last Santa Visit at a Simon Mall. After driving an hour to get to the mall and waiting in the line for more than an hour we get the pictures taken. We took our sons, son and parents, and son with aunt and wanted all these photos. Then we learn that the Santa photo shop was bought out by this other company that has totally changed the way they sell their packages. In the past we would purchase the photo package that gave us enough pictures for our family and include the digital download. The new service only gives 1 pose for the photo package then you only get that one picture in the digital download. To say the least we didn't buy pictures and now have to find another mall with a better Santa Vendor. read more

This is one of those malls that are filled with a lot of eye candy so husbands and wives please be weary when you all are shopping together! Now that that is out of the way this mall is filled with many trendy and upscale stores. You won't find too much bang for your buck as this again is a very trendy and upscale Mall! There's a food court in the center of the establishment with not too many options a lot of Chinese and noodles going on. You can find all of your cell phone stores inside of this mall as well as JCPenney Belk and Forever 21! This is usually a very crowded mall so just be ready for The Rush of people and probably not the calmest and relaxing of shopping experiences. There is an Apple store in this mall as it is the closest one within 300 Mi radius. Boy do people love their Apple! The Apple Store is very beautiful too So if you don't enjoy anything else definitely enjoy the Apple Store! There is a Cheesecake Factory dedicated restaurant attached to the mall as well and will probably be the most Pleasant eating experience at this location. West Town Mall now shows in the app, but the E2 parking has NEVER worked since installation. I have NEVER seen anyone able to use it, the only time this parking is used it when I or someone like me that knows it is broken parks in front of the device. I frequently use this entrance so I can get to the Apple Store quickly for pickups. It seems a real shame to block these prime spots due to a technology glitch and not even try to fix it! read more

This is my second time coming to the mall. Last time was Christmas 2019. Both times I've come was during the Christmas season. Mall was clean and staff was all around cleaning and picking up. I sat down at the food court and an employee came over and sat how dirty it was. They came back and wiped down the table for us which I thought was nice. Great little mall! I have little patience for shopping and even less for dingy old malls, but this one is fresh and clean and is just the right size. It has all the staples, from Apple to Starbucks, Dillard's, and Cinnabon. Parking is all surface lots, so be strategic about where you park if you need to get in and out quickly. But you can also park anywhere and walk to the other end of the mall in less than 10 minutes. The food court is big enough to offer plenty of variety, AND there's a small bar in the middle of it I can't wait to try (definitely beer on tap - not sure about other options). This review contains more positive things about a mall than I've probably ever said about all malls, so great job West Town Mall! read more

Has been a pretty good mall during the times I've been in college. Enjoyed it I guess mostly because I knew exactly way I was getting without needing help or just wandering with friends. I will say going today into Tommy and Aero needing assistance, seem to discriminate who they give greetings and assistance to. Tommy is inconsistent with who they greet and assist, which can't help but make you wonder if the associates discriminate, even though there is not much traffic in there to slow them down. Aero asked everyone noncolored in the store at that time if they needed assistance. They did not acknowledge us. If you ask for help you will know it's a big favor by their disgruntled attitude. Finally at least HCO service was good, greeted everyone. Either don't assist people at all, or offer assistance to everyone. Was very disappointed with my experience at this mall today. Out of the malls in East Tennessee, this mall is the best as far as selection, layout and deals. It truly stands out against the other malls in the area. Let me tell you why and it stems from my childhood. Many moons ago, I was a child of the hills of East Tennessee. My town had a little feed mill and a gas station --- that was it. Now, the East Town Mall was much closer and we went there to do our shopping, however, I knew when my mom drove out of her way to go to the West Town Mall, it was going to be a special day. Imagine my amazement when I found out my family was moving to the West Side of Knoxville. I thought my family hit the jackpot because we would be going to the West Town Mall for good. This place has your standard anchor stores, a decent food court and a great movie theater. If you are in K-Town and have a sudden urge to shop til you drop...go here or Turkey Creek. read more

This place used to seem so big to me however now it has gotten so much smaller as more and more traffic come in. Don't go during weekends like on holidays and game days because it is packed. If you do go then go in the morning when they start opening some of the store doors. Around that time you see kids and the elderly walking since the mall doors open at 8 am.
