On April 19, 1775, the towns of Lexington and Concord, MA saw escalating tensions between British…read moresoldiers and Massachusetts colonists reach a boiling point as gunfire and death marked the start of warfare between the two sides. In every direction, word of the hostilities spread throughout the region as riders told the shocking story of what had happened. In response to the "Lexington Alarm", in dozens of small towns across New England, militias were formed and citizen soldier troops marched to Boston to join what had become a War for Independence. Shrewsbury, MA was one of the small towns that responded to the Lexington Alarm. This monument, on a small green in the center of town, honors the 128 patriotic citizens of Shrewsbury who marched 40 miles to Boston to answer their calls of destiny and duty. If you walk around the Town Green, you'll see an old weathered bronze plaque attached to a stone. Today for the first time, we visited the Pool - She had been talking about it all spring & I was very weary - but actually had a GREAT time... First off its a 2ft Wading Pool - so dont show up expecting to do HandStands & Dives (Unless of course you are vertically challenged)... The baby was unsure at first (hes never really been in a pool now that he is aware of the world), but I got in & laid down with him & we had a blast... It was busy but not soo much that we were bothered... There were some lifeguards there that do make you feel safe, there is a restroom which is also convenient... It was a good time, I would definitely recommend if you have smaller children & dont want to deal with bigger kids pushing & splashing... However it was also my first time, I might have just picked a good day - who knows what next weekend will bring (Ill update)!

And I never leave there without feeling satisfied with my readings. And the very last time I was there, she explained to me that not only was a healer, in a sense I could help other people more. She inspired me. I bought my first two sets of tarot cards. I bought a beautiful Wind-chime that I leave on my deck it hangs over my deck gardens. And I also I'm looking forward to taking some Reiki classes here . I'm sure many other classes I'll be interested into. I've also purchased several different stones that I carry with me in my pocketbook to protect me while I'm driving. I also put stones inside my zipped pillowcase to help me sleep and stay protected from darkness.. My favorite thing are my Sage and my cleansing candles alongside my protection spray that she recommended that smells wonderful and alongside my spirit guides protecting me, I do feel like the spray helps.. Every time I walk into Open Doors , I'm greeted with such welcoming individuals. You feel like you're home. They're right there to share stories or help you find what you need. Chris or "Madman with a Marker" did such a great job on the caricature that he did for a…read morecolleague's going away gift! She loved it and we put it in a frame with a matte border so everyone could sign. It looked AWESOME! Beyond that, Chris turned around the caricature so quickly including all of the special requests (i.e. Boston skyline in the pic, products that we work, etc). He also made it very easy for pick up and was very accommodating to my crazy schedule. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend his services!

We initially began with three people, but quickly advanced to 13 caricatures that he nailed perfectly! And he completed it in such a fast turn around that made our stress level lower. Simply stated, our request was crazy with many details, but Chris completed the drawing in exemplary fashion with stellar service. If we ever need a caricature artist again, there is no doubt we would ask Chris.
