I now have 2 of my other children in clinics with Coach Donna and they are loving it! Lori is the most enthusiastic, cheerful, and helpful person and the rest of her staff has been nothing but pleasant and accommodating. The courts and grounds are beautiful and I'm pleased to call this our home for tennis.

However once your in its a very well lot nice place to at. Most players are fairly welcoming on fact there's a meet up group that shows here. Huge following sunday 2-4 and decent following Thursday nights at 7. All in all the green clay courts are nice perhaps not the best but very playable and decently maintained and the hard courts are quite nice no flat spots or cracks. Definitely swing by to see.

This complex has a water fountain and bathrooms in the little club house between the courts. There's a tall net in between the courts to divide the courts and keep your balls inside of the court so you don't have to inconvenience anyone playing next to you with errant balls. Conveniently located off Watrous just behind the South South Dale Mabry Palma Ceia Publix in South Tampa! There is plenty of free parking on-site and a baseball field next door. Park security did check up on us to make sure we were doing okay. We had to come here because the tennis courts off north south Blvd next to university of Tampa were inaccessible due to road work. We will be coming back again. :)

These courts are hard concrete green courts with lighting available and are well maintained. There are bleachers that can hold up to 50 spectators so invite all your friends to your next match! You can park in the parking garage right next to this place after 6pm without a university parking permit without any problems. There are a set of 3 courts in the front and 3 courts in the back. The courts are never too busy for us not to get a court so thats good. Sadly there is no water fountains anywhere near the courts, so make sure to bring plenty of your own water because it's been so hot out. One time I came around 830pm on a week day and the courts were locked. I'm not sure what the official hours of these courts are before they do lock them. I usually go to the public courts a block north of here but north south road is totally shut off for construction for over month now, so I just go to these courts. We will be coming back again soon! :)

I've been in there twice now and both times they've acted like they couldn't really be bothered with what I needed help with. I was the only person in the store and not once did anyone ask how they could help. I asked the guy about green dot balls and his sole response was "on the back wall" almost as if I was an idiot. I could easily see that balls were on the back wall but what I needed was a case , which he ended up having to go in the back to get. Lastly, I watched a lady walk in as I was leaving and they seemed very eager to help her- so I'm not sure what is so obvious about me to make them treat me differently but I'd like to not have to use my imagination as to why. Do better guys.

In contrast however, if you only expect to utilize the facility for a partial year, regardless of being a member over several years, the facility charges an exorbitant and excessive fee, which makes the membership cost more than other comparable facilities and thereby makes one feel unappreciated for loyalty to the club.

Tennis Tampa Bay and all the Tennis League Network leagues are great and I highly recommend them if…read moreyou want a self-organized, flexible league. How it works is you pay a flat fee for a season (or multiple seasons for a discount I think?) and then get access to a list of all the other people who signed up and their contact information. Then, it's up to you to schedule matches and play as many as you want throughout the season. At the end of the season, you are seeded based on your total win record in your division, and the playoffs begin. There are also great prizes depending on how far you go in the playoffs, like merch or even a free future season for the runner-up and champion! Tennis League Network has an app (see pictures) that works great and makes submitting scores very quick and easy. They also have tons of other features like finding a court, checking your division's scores, and a "Player of the Year" program to win some rewards based on how many matches you play, how many friends you refer to the league, etc. The owner of the league who I believe created the company and designed the app and everything is also very quick to respond if you have any questions or concerns. There are clear and fair rules listed as well that help keep the league running smoothly. I have played against several players that I ended up becoming friends with outside of just tennis too! Whether it be the competitive side, the technical side, or the fitness side you can always find someone that wants to play. My 4 stars is unfortunately due to my most recent season. I feel there could be a more evaluated way to make high or low mid season division adjustments for a player. Before someone is moved down a division (or up), there could be input from recent opponents on the player in questions skill level. Getting first hand experience rather than going purely off stats. Or letting the more skilled player stay in there lower division but they must forfeit their playoffs and championship opportunity. SIDE NOTE: Cost of living is too much and Inflation is too high to be playing for a new can of balls.
