Erika and Jenna were a pleasure to work with. I was very interested in a 1 bedroom apartment. They were spacious for the area and their grounds looked safe and clean. Accepting larger dogs was the original reason for my visit and they were very accommodating. Unfortunately when I returned, the apartment had been leased. They're a hot commodity it seems. Jenna was a pro and made the process easy to understand and both her and Erika were very welcoming and inviting. I'm updating my review . It's been 6 years since my last review. A lot has changed. I sold my house and had to move into a apartment while my new house was being built. Last time I lived at Westdale I had a remodeled apartment. There was no remodeled available. So I had to move into a original apartment. I rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath. Apartment # 123 . This apartment should get 0 stars. It was absolutely horrible!!! The worst apartment I have ever been in. When we moved in the apartment it stunk so bad. Just smelled old. Everything was outdated. Sinks were yellow and had cigarette marks in them. There was no lights except for in the bathrooms and 1 in the kitchen. So there was no lights in living room or bedrooms. It got very dark at night. My closet door kept falling apart and falling on our bed. 1 of the burners didn't work on stove top. The handle on the stove fell off when I tried to take something out of the oven. We had a HUGE PROBLEM WITH ANTS!!!!! THEY WOULD CRAWL ON US WHILE WE SLEPT. Ants all over my daughters bed and our bed. And no we do not eat in our bedrooms. No food allowed in bedrooms. I bought traps and ant spray. They still came full force. Pantry full of ants. I found a roach crawling on my ceiling. Gross. Our fridge kept going out . Had to have a electrician put a new electrical panel in because other 1 was very old it was the original. And it fried, sparks we're coming out. The guy upstairs would jump up and down constantly and stomp . He would do it all the time sometimes for over a hour. All my bottles in my kitchen would shake. I would never stay in this apartment again. Ever!! I hated every minute of it. For the property. There was constantly homeless people & tweakers going through the dumpsters. Throwing bottles out and different items out. There was 1 old man that lived here he would walk around parking lot with his 2 little dogs. He would let them poop on the ground. I almost stepped in it once because there was poop in my parking spot. When it was raining the walkways would be completely flooded out. When we first moved in there was also a huge water leak . It was in the middle of the walkway. So every time you went to parking lot you would have to jump over it and sometimes I wouldn't make it and water would get my feet soaking wet. The office said that they scheduled a plumber and we had to wait for them to come out to fix. My man went to work early in the morning and saw one of our neighbors cars was broken into. The car was on blocks and all the windows were busted out. So why did I give Westdale 2 stars. For 1 you can't beat the location! You are right next to everything. Costco, the mall , Dave & Buster's & Trader Joe's . Location is perfect. 2 because all of the employees here . Everybody that works here is amazing. Seriously!! Jenna & Ericka in the office do a wonderful job . They are always quick to fix a problem. And both ladies are very friendly and helpful. The maintenance man & the groundskeeper are both very nice as well. Maintenance man Steven always has a good attitude . The Groundskeeper always kept the laundry room clean . My overall thoughts on Westdale Apartments. I feel they charge way too much for what you get. We we're paying $2079 a month for a nasty , smelly , dark , ant infested non remodeled apartment. My husband and I leased an apartment with Westdale for a short term medical placement. The office was responsive and communicative throughout our lease. They helped us coordinate furnishings and move in from across the country, which took a ton of stress off my hands. We had an un-updated apartment, though we found the appliances stunningly well kept. We had a couple of issues with our appliances while we were there and the office promptly took care of it. I really enjoyed living here. It was quiet and pleasant. It was nice to be so close to Costco, O'Brians, and Trader Joes. The grounds are pretty well kept. The surrounding neighborhood is quaint, and there's a nice little park a block away. read more

My son has been resident here for about a year now (12/2019). Erica and Ashley are so easy to work with at every turn. Several days ago I asked if they would install a handicapped bar next to the toilet. It arrived at their office and they emailed me. I told them it was a handicapped bar and they offered to install it. An hour later I received an email saying it was complete. This is typical of the type of service Westdale Commons provides. It's not just the fabulous location of the property, but how management addresses problems that makes this a great property to live in. I would highly recommend West Dale Commons. If you're looking for a place to live, I feel welcome here. I feel happy the vibe is amazing, I had an issue with my dishwasher, when I went to let them know not only did they get me a new dishwasher they made sure that I had a new AC system as well without me even having to ask them, this is where you want to live these people they take care of you they make sure that your needs are met as far as living environment, everything is always clean, and the people here honestly look out for you, my neighbor, if I was to leave for a few days, she would watch my place to make sure that no one is trying to break in or anything like that, I highly recommend this place I cannot even give it enough stars, plus Erica and Ashley in the office are totally amazing!!!! read more

I love living at Westdale Commons, it is close to the Freeway, major shopping and entertainment. I am in a wheelchair and the staff goes out of their way to make it easy for me. If a package comes while I am gone, the staff will hold it for me and then after notifying me, they will put it in my apartment. The two laundry rooms are always clean thanks to the help of Suzy who works tireless to stay ahead of any cleaning demands. I had a light go out in the kitchen and Steven the maintenance man had it repaired in less than 30 minutes from the time I put in my work order request. Stevie and Ashley from front office are always there to help with a question. They are busy planning events for the rest of the tenants. This Saturday they are hosting a Free Waffles and PBJ event. We have a Kids Movie night, Easter Egg hunt, Christmas Party and other events. We have received FREE Pizza, Hot Dogs, Waffles, Cookies. This place has been my home for nearly two years now and I still couldn't be happier. I'm even lucky that I gained a very quiet neighbor across the way. The staff continue to make sure I'm well taken care of. Sometimes when I have important packages arrive and can't get to the office before they close for the day, they personally deliver it to my apartment. I've been here about 5 months and I love it. Staff is great and repairs get fixed fast. You cannot hear the neighbors at all from your apt. The facilities, like the laundry room and pool, are always kept clean. I'm glad to say I haven't had any issues at all. read more

I personally just want to thank both Ashley and Ericka, on behalf of my mother in law. Although we have been going through a tough time they have both been very supportive. They made the process of moving into my own apartment very easy and helped us so we could move in as soon as possible. my family has lived here for 7 years, over the years ive noticed that they are always, always doing improvments. new windows,landscaping,paving,new laundry facilities. the landscaping is now being upgraded for drainage and looks, it looks like a beautiful park. don't see us going anywhere else, wonderful,helpful staff. this is not just an apartment, this is our home. read more
