Golf - I was with many traveled golfers and this ranked in the top 3, if not 5 courses that we've played around the world. Great practice set up, the best undulating greens we played all week and excellent all around condition. After your round they have a fully lit 18 hole putting course. Truly an amazing experience. Food and beverage - we had dinner at the clubhouse restaurant and followed the recommendations from Adam at the Irish pub. We had a party of 12 and we shared a couple orders of cheese curds, 2 orders of ribs and 2 Butcher Blocks. People also placed a few other apps/sides/salads, however if you are with a party of 6 or more you need the curds, ribs and butcher block. After dinner we proceeded to the Irish pub to have a final final. Multiple fire pits and great service to close out the night.

Once we checked in, the guy told us we would be teeing off in "a little bit". Our tee time was for 1:16, and we checked in at about 1:05 ish. We then went to our car and grabbed our bags, and we pull up to the tee box before our tee time, at 1:14. We get there and the ranger is screaming at us saying that we are way late and that the whole course is now backed up, while swearing the whole time. He kept yelling at us as we tried to hustle, and he even made us skip the first hole while we still payed for the full 9 holes. Keep in mind that we were at the tee box ready to go, BEFORE OUR TEE TIME. Once we passed the first hole, there were already at least 2-3 groups waiting at the tee box for hole 3, and two other groups already on hole 2, so the hole course was backed up already. Then, about halfway through the round, I got yelled at and heckled by the group behind us for "playing too slow" when there were literally groups in front of us. If anything we were almost hitting into the group in front of us, but I guess that doesn't matter to whoever was behind us. My experience was terrible and I will never be coming back again.

To extend my argument towards the perfect rating the course was well groomed and well kept. player issues such as divots in the greens could be chalked up to unclassy players.

Fairways and rough were fair, although be careful, some fairways were rather narrow and I spent a bit of time in the trees. Staff was very friendly. The grounds crew was respectful in holding mowing and such when we were hitting our shots. There are a few blind shots which are always tough for first time players, but we figured out most holes. Some pretty signature holes with lots of water on the back nine. Glad we could give this course a shot. We would definitely play again.

The waitress at lunch was extremely slow and we had to order our drinks several times. It took about 30 minutes to get water. The other table outside, had a few housewives that were having a liquid lunch and making a few odd comments. The food tasted alright. The golf course was very nice and in great shape. However, the people at the resort really rubbed me the wrong way. Even the maintenance staff/grounds crew took time to stop and make rude & unnecessary comments to us.
