Now we wont be going to this "restaurant" until it fails and someone with intellegence buys it and restores it to its once greatness that Schwefels was. In a side note, i feel sorry for all the excellent employees that Schwefels had that now lost their jobs cooking and serving what was the best food in Waukesha County.

I was able to rest peacefully. They had a full kitchen. The customer service was fantastic.. I was very impressed with this hotel and I highly recommend from one night to a week or two. It is the place to stay. If having a procedure done, they do give a discount.

The barn bar is convenient with an accessible entry on the north side; the steps are on the south side. Drinks are very reasonably priced (Old Fashioned for $7!). The choices are limited but a nice variety. This is a great event to bring your kids, of all ages. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome.There is room for them to run, play games, and just have fun with few limitations on space. Bring chairs, tables and your friends and families. The acoustic guitar music just melts into the evening and is not overpowering to conversations. One very young lady spent her time just watching the guitarist, loving every note he played. Reservations go fast; this is for the time you will order your food, not an attendance cost. Parking is free. Don't forget to tip the musicians! They truly make the evening the joyful and peaceful time it is.

Note: The Barn does not have air conditioning. It was 96 degrees today, they opened the barn doors to let the breeze naturally cool the guests. I saw 100+ people and the barn handled it well. They have parking for 50-60 cars. Bathrooms are in the barn's lower level, they can handle 3-4 people at a time. I recommend and will return.

I attended a wonderful wedding last night at the only barn wedding facility in the state. Women…read morewore dresses, skirts and pant outfits. Men wore suits, business casual and jeans. The barn was nice and clean. They have beautiful bathrooms. The wedding ceremony was at 500pm in front of the oldest hickory tree in the county. They set up 200 chairs with an aisle down the middle for the wedding party to enter. The property has a nice area to take pictures and enjoy and outdoor pre-reception. Our reception was inside the barn we ate comfortably and heard bride and groom stories, prayer, a charge from the father of the bride. Dinner was catered by Thunder Bay Grill. The wedding party DJ played nice taped music during the dinner. Dessert was a cheesecake. At the end of the reception we launched balloons with lights in them sending off in the air on a new adventure, just like the bride and groom. A beautiful night. I highly recommend this facility.

When we booked the Valerie it was still in the building phases and we only had the pictures of the visions Matty had. We are so glad we believed in Matty's vision because the venue is breathtaking. The venue just insanely beautiful from the suites, to the ceremony space, to the reception space, to the bars, and even the bathrooms. The communication the Valerie provides is top notch! They are always quick to respond which is amazing when you are planning the wedding. Matty is always willing to help whether it's with giving recommendations or helping answer questions. He also makes contact with the vendors you chose to talk to them about everything you need to know about the venue! The day of the wedding was amazing, Matty and the point of contact helped so much to keep the day running smoothly. The bartenders were also amazing. My husband and I have said many times over how we wish we could come up with another event to throw just so we can book this venue again!
