I had hoped for more vegetables on the buffet. They also had baked chicken in water. Almost all proteins were chicken.

Food was good not many options and the salad bar almost everything was browning or just bitter and the service horrible me and my boyfriend only saw our waitress ONCE and that was when she brought our drinks not once did she come pick up our plates or ask to refill our drinks or even come to give us more plates not to mention why was my cheesecake gritty and why was the butter chunky after our second plate we decided to leave after paying $40 for about $15 worth of food this place is definitely not worth anyone's time or money I would've gotten better service at McDonald's this place sucked read more

This is the busiest Western Sizzler I have ever seen. The parking lot was JAMMED on this Saturday night, with motorcycles, cars, and trucks. But OK; we understand why. Best WS we have tried. Don't let the sketchy crowd scare you away; the buffet food is really good, and my sirloin steak was pretty solid. Not the best steak I've ever had, but probably the best WS/buffet steak I have ever eaten. The salad bar is way better than average! Fresh ingredients, with a wide array of choices, and everything is restocked promptly. Kudos to the staff. Speaking of STAFF; everyone was friendly, and our nice waittress earned a big tip. We'll eat here again, the next time we're in Clinton. read more

I decided to skip the buffet today & instead got a 8 oz ribeye with baked potato. Steak was very tender & great sear on the outside. Steak was slightly over cooked in the middle. I prefer a medium to medium well but today it looked to be well done. Baked potato was very hot & soft on the inside. Out side skin wasn't over done since I eat the skin with my potato Also had a salad from the salad bar & it was also good. Lettuce wasn't wilted & was very crunchy. Not many toppings on it just cheese, ranch & bacon bits with a few cucumber slices. Overall experience was great. read more

I happen to make a very very big mistake and stopped here for lunch Friday 8/21/2020 I had the buffet. on my plate was mashed potatoes which tasted worst then any instant mix ever with I think gravy from a can, mushrooms from a can with beef broth, Mac and cheese probably from a no name brand and Fried Chicken bits which where over cooked and dry. For dessert cherry cobbler I think. Did not finish any of it. Also the Dr. Pepper was good. The person who was serving the food was rude. My waitress was very good she must have known how bad the thing they called food was. I suggest to all do not even think about going to any of these and if you do just throw your $14.55 out the window and find any and I do mean any other place to eat. read more

Pass it up!! I am so very upset with this establishment. We're not from here, so my husband and I with our two kids drove by and stopped here. What a mistake! The food was awful, I mean, obviously awful. The sweet tea was so old it was rancid and the buffet was seriously overpriced for chewy ribs and watery potatoes. We ordered for our kids, because they're seriously picky, corn dogs & fries. It was so bad looking that our waitress brought us the plates to show us and asked us what else we wanted, she wouldn't even set the plates down! The corn dog was freezer burnt and all of it was overcooked badly. My husband at that point asked for our money back. We hadn't touched our plates (we were waiting on our kids food) and now our kids were going to have to wait even longer? We just wanted to be done and go somewhere else. The waitress was supper sweet and told us she totally understood (very, very sweet girl - NONE of this was her fault) she came back and said her manager was refusing to refund us but would offer us a gift card for the corn dogs. My husband politely explained that we were traveling through because he's law enforcement and that we wouldn't be coming back through here anytime soon - if ever. He asked again, that whatever partial refund she was offering be given back via our card that we'd paid with and he asked if we could speak to the manager. The sweet girl scampered off again, and came back alone stating that M. Loretta could not speak with us and she wouldn't be able to refund us for the food our kids didn't even get to eat. I'm so disappointed. I was looking forward to a great family mean and it turned into a disaster. The service was excellent, the servers should be working in a larger and upscale place. The girls who waited on us were friendly and attentive. The buffet food was just okay. We were on vacation and had limited choices late On a Monday evening, so Western Sizzlin Steak House it was. Surprise, the baked potato was the best thing, cooked to a nice mushy middle. There was nothing outstanding ( besides the amazing service) nothing bad either. The food was all decent but nothing amazing or above average. The place was a bit dirty looking but it was almost closing and seemed like they must have been busy earlier. read more

On our way to Little Rock for a girls weekend. We were starving and thought this place will do the job.... It was well beyond what we expected!! The buffet was clean and the food was fresh. The wait staff was very responsive and helpful. The building and decor is a little dated but seriously that makes no impact when the food is good. I had fall off the bone ribs, wonderful fried chicken and the catfish... Wow. The salad bar was well stocked and plenty of selections. We chose this spot on a whim and it was delicious. There are times that the buffet is good, but not great. Then there are times when the buffet just needs to be skipped. I have found that if you go with whatever the daily lunch special is that it tends to be the best for your visit. I hate spending what they charge for a buffet that is not going to please me. The choices are limited in Clinton, Ar so if you go try the daily special. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The only thing that's good here is the salad bar. The meal buffet is pretty much the same thing every night, chicken, potatoes, & collard greens plus a few other southern comfort food. But the food isn't even good. One of the waitresses did not have her hair pulled back and she kept flipping it around. She also kept running her fingers through it as she walked by the salad bar and main buffet. This is a little different than the other buffets I've been to. Instead of having a stack of plates near the buffet, they bring one to you. The salad bar was great. There were different types of greens and pretty much every topping you could want. None of the dressings were labeled though. I liked that you could choose a baked potato or fries with the purchase of a buffet. When I went to the hot bar, there really weren't many options. The turkey with gravy was okay. The stuffing had an odd texture and the mashed potatoes were over buttered. Most of the items on the Hotbar weren't labeled and I couldn't even tell you what they were. The floors could use a good steam cleaning. While I was sitting at our table, my foot keep getting stuck to the floor. read more

Please, please, please save your money and go somewhere else. The bar is mediocre at best, but whoever is in the kitchen on steak duty has clearly made a pact with the devil. Not to be a great chef, but to have simultaneous fire and ice powers with no discernable control. It takes legitimate sorcery to produce an 8oz steak with 6 levels of done-ness. This person shifted the fabric of space and time to create a steak that was well done in the center, medium rare in one quarter inch spot, flat out raw in a 1cm band through the outer ring, and super-rare in small pea sized sections throughout. I gave up on it after I chewed the same small piece for three minutes without any loss in size-- it was the everlasting gobstopper of the meat world. Meanwhile my husband's medium rare steak was medium in a few places, rare in a few more, and still freaking mooing on a thumb sized section at the edge. This piece had never known warmth. It didn't even catch heat transfer from the surrounding sections. We showed the waitress and she was generally unphased, though agreed that steak shouldn't have more personalities than my mother-in-law. In short, you can do better. You are a strong, independent human and life is too short for that. read more

The prices didn't match the food for the buffet. The fish was so hard it could break a plate. There wasn't much of a selection. We had five waitresses look directly at us and still no one brought our drinks until we were both finished with our second plate. The waitress that was ours would have probably been more helpful but she was too busy chitchatting with a couple with a newborn baby. And yes I still gave her a tip but I should have give her a penny which would have been more than enough. Save your money and eat at McDonald's it will be better food and a lot better service. read more

We ate lunch here today and enjoyed very much. Salad bar was good everything looked fresh. Fried fish and chicken strips were awesome, baked fish looked good also just never tried it. For desert we had a slice of chocolate pie also very good, this we had to ask for as it was not on desert bar. read more

The sign outside invided me in for half price burgers. My burger was not bad and was just the way I ordered it. I also got a baked potatoe on the side. It was not the best and was a little burnt. Their service was not bad at all and they do have an all you can eat buffet. The buffet is really expensive but they do have surprisingly good choices. All in all, it is an ok restrant for a city the size of Clinton but I have seen way better. I do not highly recommend this place but you may like the buffet. read more

Well.....let's start with the only good thing about this place; The wait staff was great, doing the very best they could with what they have to work with. That being crap. The food was probably the worst I have ever had. Tasted as if it was recooked a few times over. Even the tea my wife had tasted a week old she stated. The kids food was ordered from the kitchen. Let's just say I wouldn't feed my dog what they offered. The waitress even apologized and didn't want to give it to us. She tried her best to make it right. But due to the manger "Loretta" she couldn't. This manager offered a gift card for the corn dogs. But who would want to come back to this place? We were completely refused a refund. Let's not forget the flies we had to constantly try and brush away from lingering over the table and our food. By far this has to be the worst establishment I've "attempted to eat". Poor wait staff acted and had the look of "stuck behind enemy lines" and "under Larretta's reign". If corporate could only see how this establishment is being operated by management. So just a FYI, if your in the area and see this place....pass it by and stop ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

So I sent it back and again when it came back it was the fattiest price of meat and it was purple on the inside! First off my friends call in order was incorrect was missing two of the entrees. Then as I am waking out the door a man eating inside the restaurant followed me out to inform me that my headlights were blinding him while he was trying to eat. So wrong food and harassment by a man who does not even know me, and obviously does not know the set up of Western Sizzlin there are booths away from the windows where people are allowed and free to park at any time they choose to eat at Western Sizzlin. We decided to eat here rather than cook tonight. This was my first time, as I was here visiting family. Of our party of four, three ordered a cheeseburger from the senior menu, and I ordered a small sirloin steak. I like the fact that you can order a baked potato with your burger instead of fries if you want. My dinner came with salad bar, which was average. The buffet food looked pretty good, especially the fried chicken although I did not have anything from there. The people sitting next to us left a literal mountain of chicken bones on their plates, so I thought it must be pretty good. It took a very long time to get our food, and when it came it was fine. Nothing special, but hey, the price right and we really didn't want to cook. Just a suggestion...the workers should come by and check on tables, and remove salad/buffet plates from the table for people. All of our dinners came with dessert, which was good. Ice cream, various pies, cookies and pastries to choose from. I'd suggest that the employees be a little more attentive to the guests by checking in and removing plates. This was the worst experience I have EVER had at a restaurant. I am not a picky, whiny, complainer that sends food back regularly, but I do expect to be treated fairly. This afternoon my mother, myself, and my boyfriend went in for lunch. We all ordered the 8 oz sirloin (the salad bar and dessert came with it to our surprise). It was $53 dollars. None of us are crazy about buffet bars, so our salads were small and we waited patiently for our steaks. After about 45 minutes our sweet waitress came to the table and apologized said they had not gotten our steak order in the back and had not even started cooking them. We all decided to cancel the order-- not upset, or mad--just ready to get back on the road. Because we paid at the door, the waitress( who was very nice) assured us that we would be refunded. After about 15 minutes, we were given 23 dollars back- we paid $9 each for a "salad bar". We didn't even want a salad bar. We asked for a full refund, offered to pay for the drinks, but were refused. I asked to speak to the owner and he was unwilling to even come out to the front to speak to us. I was very disappointed--will not be back, and will tell all my friends/ family to avoid the Clinton Arkansas Western Sizzlin. Terrible. read more
