OK we took a chance on this place while driving through Heber Springs and absolutely fell in love with service and food. Our waitress was wonderful. Her name was Maribel and the food tasted fabulous. MEDIOCRE AT BEST While visiting a friend they took me to this restaurant that claims to be the best Mexican food in town. Being from California, I have high standards for Mexican food and have eaten a lot of it. Whenever I try a new Mexican restaurant, I always order chili relleno & enchiladas. Chili relleno should be filled with cheese. However, their relleno was filled with a watery cheese sauce and was very soggy. The enchilada had no cheese in it and was only filled with under-seasoned ground beef. My friend's food was cold, and the chicken looked old. The service was alright, but I had better food from a food truck. read more

First of all my order was a pick up order I ordered online. When I type my order in I specifically sayd no vegetables on my steak fajitas. And they sent the email for when to pick it up 45 minutes after we had already gotten there and came home. When we got at the restaurant we had to tell them our whole order again instead of our name which we had to put in in the website when we ordered. After I got home there were more vegetables in my fajita than there was steak. I am highly dissatisfied with my experience. Why is it that they can get your order correct when you are eating in the restaurant but not for pickup. Again very disappointed with my experience. read more

Best Mexican food in Heber Springs. The staff is always friendly and courteous. They keep your drinks filled and refill the chips and salsa as soon as you ask. The food comes out of the kitchen in a timely matter, and at a great temperature. Staff always ask if you need anything else, during the meal. The bathroom is small but always clean. This was the only place open in Heber Springs after a long work day at 9pm so we gave it a shot. So glad we stopped In because the food was very good. I got the chicken burrito loco and it was huge and delicious!! The chicken was very flavorful and it came with their cheese sauce over the top and it really kicked that burrito into overdrive. My co worker got enchiladas and loved her food as well. Great chips and salsa as well. read more

My dining experience was a little less than stellar. My chalupa was not prepared as stated in the menu, so I had to eat around the beef that was in it. The chips and salsa were pretty good. The service was good. The place itself seemed to reverberate the sounds of small children from across the room. I can just imagine the noise level if the place was full. Recently opened in the old Macpherson's Restaurant building. My wife and I tried this restaurant last night and were pleasantly surprised. I ordered my usual Chiles Rellenos (my test when I try a new Mexican restaurant), and my wife ordered the beef chimichanga dinner. The tortilla chips were fresh and the salsa was tasty but too mild for my taste. Fortunately there were three levels of Habanero sauce on the table so spicing it up was no problem. The Rellenos were properly prepared and very good, The rice was well seasoned and properly cooked and the refried beans were flavorful and of the right consistency. My wife thought the chimichanga was ordinary but the sides were good. They seemed to have a good grasp of the basics, so we are looking forward to trying the more exotic dishes. read more

Delicious! I had the enchiladas verde and Greg had 4 tacos that were the special! Both were perfect! And did I mention the salsa and chips?? Wow! We ate them ALL! Food was really good. Service was lacking. Not sure if we even had a specific waiter or waitress. A female took our order, she had no personality or expression. She ignored us from then on. I flagged her down for more chips/salsa. She said yes, but stared across the room like she was to good to make eye contact. A man brought us our food and was friendly. This place was the worst place we've ever ate! They screwed us over on our food and the margaritas which was watered down! There were roaches crawling on the floor while we were eating. The service was the worst service I've ever witnessed. They were rude to us the whole time we were there. The food we ordered had no meat on it when we ordered it. My girlfriend and a a couple of friends came out to Heber Springs to the lake. Afterwards, we stopped here to eat. As soon as we stepped in the door, a waiter was sitting on the food bar. We sat and they brought us our drinks. It took another 10 minutes to even order a cheese dip. We got out food and everything seemed right. As we were taking our first bite, a loud pop went off and they started singing happy birthday for a girl behind us. My girlfriend, being a combat veteran, instantly went into a PTSD attack. It took a few minutes to get her calm. To top it off, there was burnt plastic in my food. None of us finished eating. We went to pay, my girlfriend immediately walked out the door to go to the car and breathe. My friend and I confronted a manager about it, as they should probably warn or say 'happy birthday' before popping it so people will no. I did step in and say that if we hadn't have been able to catch her before it got bad, there wouldn't have been anything I could've done. The manager LAUGHED about it and was like "oh man."
