Be sure to FOIA you school bus videos every once in awhile to see how your own child acts as well as others. I've never heard a child talk with such vulgar language at such a young age. My child was jumped 4 times for the 20 min bus ride!!! Bus driver didn't see it. The super and principal had a meeting of which I reordered with permission. They said if my child ever felt unsafe to raise her hand and she could spend the rest of the day in the principals office. It took alot to get a monitor on the bus, even then with them having the school bully sit in front of her to the point she would cry and be terrified to be on a bus she was homeschooled. The staff lies straight to the parents faces. They do upgrades on the schools but only for staff areas not for student areas. They had "square fans" one per room, flys all over bathroom areas smelt rotten, as well as their "portable fan"... "it stays in the lunch room so they can cool off picking up lunch". They stated it would be moved room to room. They do not cancel school or call home when your child is having heat stroke or has to be carried to the nurses office for immediate care. As someone certified I was appalled. They got so upset with my FOIA requests that they started using my initials only. They will bad talk parents for showing up to meetings with concerns. Beware. They do not care about your opinions. Take care of your babies as it only gets worse with stbbings in middle school and no expulsion. Everyone passes. I support the teachers as they put up with alot. With no help from the board or the principals or super. Wego has one of the highest homeschooling groups around. Free and very involved. Reach out to your community and you will find out. Even teachers that work there homeschool their own children. Keep your children safe and stay aware of what is happening inside the school and on buses for their safety.

My children always come home and report how their day went and I would always hear unacceptable statements and responses from multiple staff members including substitute teachers. The principle Carrie Stange has a very rude, nonchalant attitude when it comes to my children (African American) Example: my daughter comes home and tells me she had a sub for her class today and that the sub told the kids in the classroom that (quote) " that's why Donald Trump doesn't like black people" so I call Fullerton to discuss the matter with the principle and she stated " the sub wasn't speaking about Black people that in fact she was speaking about Mexicans and that she is also a mexican" bottom line Dr. Stange is a principle whom is supposed to uphold her position with enough respect to not allow any form of discrimination within her school. I must say I am one happy parent that she has been back demoted to the director of education. I don't believe she deserves any higher authority than such, and with the nonchalant attitude I wish her the best of luck on her not so new journey maybe she will get it right this next go round. They taught him the skills he needed to manage his ADD and basic life skills; nobody else was able to get through to him. When he enrolled at Hamilton he was at least a semester behind in credits, yet with the dedication and determination from the Hamilton staff he graduated on-time with his high school class. He is now 32 years old and is a success wedding photographer and lives life to it's fullest potential. I still think of Hamilton often and thank God for sending us to there when my sons fate seemed destined for failure. I very highly recommend Hamilton Academy to any student and parent struggling to obtain the services needed to keep their child on track at the public (or private) school. The reality is there are just some kids who are not suited for the standard school environment. I toured another, nationally known center nearby and very seriously started to cry. No way was my baby going there! Then, we went to Primrose. The heavens opened and angels began singing! What a difference. Warm, friendly environment, smart and caring teachers, and I cannot say enough about the Director and Assistant Director, Ruth Ann and Kimberly! My little girl just lights up when she sees them! It feels more like a "school" than just a daycare. She's learning things all the time, and we see the progress. I may be a little biased, being we only have one child and it is the only school she has ever attended. It wasn't baking a cake for my wife and I, (they gave us a 1 in 400,000 of 1% chance of having children). We were building our home in Gilberts, IL tearing out bedrooms as we did not think we would need any more than 2 or 3 most. Obviously, I did not believe my wife when she called me at work telling me she was pregnant. By the big guy upstairs' grace we we're extremely fortunate and over the moon that we had a beautiful healthy baby girl. So here we are April 2012 and now we have beaten the Powerball odds of having a baby. What are 2 type "A", work-a-holic, Gen-X / Millennial hybrids going to do with and whom can we trust with our new most prized possession?!?! Once again, my wife to the rescue and has found Primrose of Algonquin. From the moment I stepped foot in the school, I did not have to look any further as it exceeded anything that I ever had growing up & over the course of the past 6 years has grown to be considered FAMILY in every sense of the word. I won't name them all, as I am too fearful to leave out someone's name, however the owners, directors, teachers & support staff from the very top to the very bottom are some of the most approachable people on the planet. In my observations they have always demonstrated exceptional teaching skills regardless of the class's age group or diversity of learning levels. They always ensure that their students experience success by challenging their abilities to encourage as much growth and development as possible. The students are always treated with great respect from the teachers and staff and has great rapport with them. I knew from the first year walking with them in the town parade that they are great people and care about the kids more than just inside the classroom walls. For me it was great that they are always very real with me. I do want it sugarcoated, just tell me what it is or what had happened so I know how to deal with it appropriately. From the owners Kurt & Laura to the director Ruthann down they are very good at catering to their audience (us the parents). The always willingness to go above and beyond in every aspect of the school I can think of from tech (tadpoles), to up-to-date learning techniques, philanthropic, really I cannot think of an area they did not exceed all expectations! The teachers at the school are not only a great asset to the class, but the school as well. Their presence in the school are respected by all for their many contributions, beyond the regular curriculum, are exemplary. It is without hesitation that I commend them for their contributions to students and education. They are an asset to any school and will surely have a positive effect on any developing mind under their influence. I would recommend the Primrose School of Algonquin as school of the year for the past 6 years running and with a very heavy heart we have to go to first grade. For very selfish reasons I would keep my little girl this size and at this school for the rest of my days if I could.
