In addition there is a huge gym for indoor play and new playgrounds (one for toddlers and one for older children) that my children love. My children have attended a handful of daycares in the area due to covid closures; since starting ACDS in 2021 I have been consistently pleased with ACDS' compassionate teachers, routines, and communication. The director is strong in her leadership and vision. She is very easy to approach with questions and is also hands on with the children. I give ACDS a 10 out of 10.

Multiple teachers witnessed events over several months and 0 reported to DCFS until 1 finally did once a child had its head hit on the wall. The teachers have been "retrained" in mandatory reporting, but I'm not convinced a culture changes so fast. Even now that the abuser does not work there, we have been promised access to video cameras and that has not happened. I've generally found the staff to be very unfriendly and unhelpful sending parents notes like "Leave headbands in the car. This is not a hair salon." and refusing to help potty train saying, "Once you have potty trained at home, we will follow up." How does someone potty train a toddler only certain parts of the day?!?! I would not recommend this school.

We have built long-lasting friendships that have survived different elementary schools and activities due to the tight bond the children built while at AMT. The same teachers that welcomed our oldest child when we first started so many years ago are the same teachers that are seeing our youngest child off to kindergarten at the end of this year. The consistency of staffing and lack of turnover are truly unique and it is one of the primary factors that led us to AMT in the first place (and we have not been disappointed!). There will be many tears shed by multiple members of our family when our last child graduates and we move on from this phenomenal, nurturing, home-away-from-home that has been so instrumental in the development of who our children have become. We are eternally grateful for the incredible staff and administration at AMT who have made the lives of these two working parents so much easier and less stressful knowing our children are in the most capable and loving care while away from us.

We LOVE St. Peter!…read more We were first introduced to St. Peter by a friend because they offered a preschool program that accepted 3 and 4 year olds which was exactly what we needed as our boys are a year apart. After some time, our daughter who was going to public school in Schaumburg asked if she could transition to St. Peter after seeing the wonderful teachers and welcoming culture they had (and she wanted to learn more about Jesus). After attending a day at St. Peter as a visiting student and giving her winter break to think about it, we decided as a family to move her over and we're so glad that we did. Not only did our daughter get to learn and build a relationship with Jesus Christ, but she also come out so much stronger academically than her friends at in public school. She is now entering her freshman year at high school and has multiple accelerated classes and is preparing to be a 3-sport athlete. On top of the academic preparedness, we have fallen in love with both the school and the church because of its close-knit community. Our family was recently displaced from our home and the amount of support that we've received from the staff and other families of the school has been unreal. If you want your kids to excel academically, grow up in a loving, supportive community and have a true relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, you need to check out St Peter School!

She's tenured and they cannot fire her. She repeatedly yells at my daughter and berates her. Today she saw my daughter showing another student a drawing, she snatched it out of her hand, crumpled it up and left her in tears until the end of the day. She intentionally humiliated her and left her in tears over showing her friend a drawing. I wish I could say this is all that happened but I've had other parents coming up to me questioning me why their own kids are telling them how mean she is to my daughter. DO NOT send your kid to fourth grade here. Mrs. Allor is her name and she should not be teaching children. My name is Jason Pierce. The growth emotionally and with her education has me beyond excited for her to be in preschool with this center. She has learned letters, numbers, physical growth and they helped with her processing those big emotions famous with the twos haha. She has close relationships with all the staff, not just her current and previous teachers. She talks about school at home so I get to hear about her day as well as getting updates (photos and listed updates) through their app SproutAbout! You can also view your child so you can see them playing and interacting with other kids. I truly love La Petite and all they've done to help my daughter grow and become more school ready!
