Earlier this year I took a Portal brand folding wagon I had purchased from Amazon on a trip and the airline somehow lost the cover that goes around the wagon when folded and acts as its floor when the wagon is expanded. Lucky for me it was lost on the return flight so I could still use the wagon on the trip, unlucky for me the airline (Hawaiian) didn't offer a reimbursement for losing the part. I contacted Westfield Outdoors who is listed as the warranty provider to see about ordering a replacement cover. I talked to Chris at Westfield Outdoors by email and explained the situation, fully expecting to have to pay for a new cover. He was super helpful and sent a replacement cover free of charge! I bought a wagon a year ago for my harp business; it has saved my back an enormous amount of work. Recently, I had a performance where people were helping bring in what was in my car. I wasn't using the wagon that day although it was in the car. Someone took out the bottom panel and I never saw it again. I wrote to the company, explained what happened and that I would pay for the replacement panel. Nope! They sent it free of charge. I always look at how companies deal with problems, not how good the initial purchase might have been. We have a wagon we have used a ton. There was a rip by where it folds and we lost a screw in the support arm. I wanted to secure new material and secure a screw. New screws were sent, however I could not secure new material. Unfortunately I could not find my receipt from purchase to prove warranty. Lesson learned. I wish I could have purchased the material but was told that was not possible. They did send new screws at no cost to me, which was great. I guess I need to learn to sew. Westfield Outdoors makes the BEST collapsible Portal Wagon that can fit in any car trunk. I love the compact Portal Wagons so much that I actually bought 3 of them. They are very durable, have large wheels that can handle any terrain including large curbs with a large load. The wagons support up to 225 lbs in weight. The Portal Wagon is part of my car and I use it for just about anything including toting my kids around when they don't want to walk. Westfield Outdoors also has FANTASTIC customer support. Fantastic customer service! We purchased a portal wagon to lug around our little dog. After a couple of trips, the handle fell apart. We contacted Westfield and spoke to Tonya about the issue. She shipped us a replacement locking nut to fix the handle so we could go back to spoiling our dog. I would highly recommend this company for their fast and friendly customer service. We purchased an Ozark Trail 8-person cabin tent that is manufactured by Westfield. We have really loved the tent, it is roomy and well built. We had only used it twice when one of the cords holding the long pulls together snapped. We have Westfield a call, not expecting much, but Chris was awesome! He was patient with me as I found the tent and item numbers then he sent the part we needed covering it under warranty since we had not had the tent long. I purchased an item from Westfield Outdoors via Amazon. As it turns out, my small business does not require the item. I attempted to return the item, but unfortunately I had missed the 30 day return policy window by 4 days. Yes, I understand return policies, but Amazon typically has a 45 to 60 day return window, so I assumed that it would be the same. I contacted Westfield customer support and was told they could not accept the return, even though the item is unused and unboxed! I was even told to sell it myself, like at a yard sale or something. Truly I am so disappointed that a big company can not cut me a tiny break. I do not abuse returns, nor normally write reviews, but the lack of human understanding that a mistake can be made, well, it stings. read more

I purchased my Ozark all terrain wagon from Walmart sometime in August or September of 2019. I had just recently lost the round cap or what I termed the "hub cap" that holds the pin and keeps the wheel in place. Since I didn't have the original box I looked on the Walmart website to find a customer service number to call and get a replacement. I ended up finding an email address and sent them a message on a Sunday. First thing Monday morning a women named Tonya replied back with a picture of the item I was missing. I was so amazed at the quick response and the solution to my problem. She asked me a few questions, And I replied back along with my address. I received my "hub cap" before the end of the week. One, great product! We have a Timber Ridge Folding Camping Wagon and we really enjoy it. The thick wheels work not only on concrete but also on the beach. Second. A+ customer service! A couple of months after our purchase, one of the wheels on the wagon broke. I tried to find a replacement wheel online and could not seem to find one. I really love the wagon so as a hail mary, I reached out to the customer service for Timber Ridge and was surprised to get an immediate response. This praise goes out to Tonya. This has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with! They do not stand behind their products and have no integrity. I purchased a pop up canopy which tore at the seems after 1 use. I took it camping and used the outdoor screen room while camping I left it up for 5 to 7 days tops, the seems in the roof tore at almost every seem, you can see the stress marks from the stitching and they told me that it was not meant to be used that way, that it was meant to use and take down each time. So basically they told me this is a disposable canopy meant to be used once and then throw it away which is what I have to do since they will not help in anyway with their poor quality products. I have been looking at the reviews for Westfield outdoors. I know why they have such great reviews. I also purchased a Westfield product, From Costco, the zero gravity lounge chair and I have never had a better and more comfortable chair ever in my 60 plus years here on Earth (I'm not from Earth by the way, just here on vacation). Everyone that comes to the house and tries the lounge immediately wants to get one for themselves (I have arranged for shipment to the four corners of our Galactic possessions) . I had a minor problem with the bungee cords fraying and snapped that hold the chair together. I waited for a few days before calling them to check on the price of a new cord. I really did not expect them to have replacements as some of the cheaper imitations do not (my bad for trying to be cheapo). Well, after sending TONYA (a very nice earthling) an email, I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that they have the cords, AND I was going to receive one free of charge and not have to pay shipping. Thank You TONYA and THANK YOU WESTFIELD for having such great Customer service, and a great Zero Gravity chair (it is a lot like my flight cockpit chair when I turn off the artificial gravity and coast to the nearest Refueling station). I purchased a 10x10 outdoor straight wall canopy for $100 from Targets. A year later the canopy fabric is full of holes from the sun. We have only taken it out for yard sales and on a few other occasions. Targets only returns items up to 90 days. I was told to contact the manufacture of this item Westfield Outdoors,also under the label name Embark . Westfield told me they only cover the item if it is defective out of the box at time of purchase. I told the costumer service EZ-UP canopies would have had warranty coverage for their tarp for that short amount of time that we had this one. He was not helpful at all. I will not buy any more junk made by Westfield or suggest anyone else does either. read more

Bought a pop up tent from Fred Meyers here in Seattle. In the box there is a paper that clearly states not to contact the store that sold the product. When I call the customer service phone line no-one answers the phone and they ask you to leave a message. When you get VM it says that the VM is full. What a joke of a customer service line!!! I recently bought a large Ozark Trial cabin style tent from Walmart for weekend camping with the fiancé and our two dogs. We set the tent up in our backyard a week before our camping trip just so we could familiarize ourselves with the set-up process. I must've not staked the tent down properly, because a wind gust flipped the tent over and severely bent one of the poles. I called the number provided in the instructions and Chris was able to help me out. He couldn't find the part in their online database, but was willing to physically look through the warehouse and found the replacement pole I needed. Please be careful buying anything from this company..... check the tags on items for outdoor living products. I received a zero gravity chair from my daughters for Father's Day 2015. We have a covered deck so the chair is out of the elements in the summer... and is stored in the basement in the winter time. I am an average height and weight guy, 5'9" - 190 #'s..... I sit in the chair about every other day in the summer time, anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours... I've used the chair for three seasons, over two calendar years. The fabric on the chair has completely ripped away from the metal frame. I emailed the company three times and have gotten no where with the CS person. The retailer we bought the chair from is out of business and they keep saying the fabric isn't covered under the warranty.... so a chair that was probably $99 only lasts two calendar years and you can only sit in it for roughly one full years worth of use. Do yourself a favor.... do not buy any products made by Westfield Outdoors - #cheapstuff-not worth the money. Mark read more

Well if I could have typed and not given any stars I would I bought 2 Ozark trail rocking chairs and have decided I paid 32.00 dollars too much for these chairs the holes were drilled wrong for the legs the arm rests are bent and you can't use them unless you are a gorilla. This company produces Ozark Trail camping gear for Wal-Mart. I recently bought a large family tent. While inventorying the included items, I noticed a large tear in a seam of the carrying bag. The Instruction sheet has a toll-free number to call for missing parts, so I tried it, but was unable to get thru their robot receptionist, no matter what I tried. It would not permit me to even leave a message and ask someone to call me. I looked them up on the web and got a local number, but received the same robot receptionist! From their website, I tried to send them a message, only to run into yet another problem. It seems they don't want you to tell them about problems. While all the component parts to my tent were present, I haven't yet erected it. I hope it doesn't have problems because it will be tough to address! If I can ever contact a real person AND get satisfaction from them, I'll come back and upgrade this rating. read more
