It is a large cathedral done in Spanish Plateresque style and was done with Toledo, Spain in mind. In order to tour the church, we got permission from the church offices which are located in the adjoining Rosary Cathedral Catholic School. We were truly grateful to tour this awe-inspiring church! Although we are members of another Christian church and different denomination, we were welcomed with open arms. We chose to attend Hope Baptist as Sunday night services are limited in our area. We were thankful to find a local Bible believing church still having night services. The music was very good as we both enjoy old hymns . The preaching and the personal testimonies were wonderful. And it is so welcomed to still hear alter calls and see people responding. We regularly attend a church with a more relaxed dress code, yet we did not feel frowned upon the 1st night that I wore slacks and a shirt( with the name of another church embossed on it). Since then I carefully choose a dress or skirt and less casual top as we attend Hope Baptist. We plan to continue attending Hope Baptist for their Sunday or mid-week services.

We were able to gain access to tour the church thanks to the kind folks in the Parrish offices. While there, we saw the Parrish was busy helping the poor by giving out alms to the needy. The church itself is magnificent. I loved the fact they have areas each for firefighters and police in the church. I lean towards non-denominational and churches that are kinda laid back on dress attire and have all ages attending. The Rock was very welcoming and has an awesome worship service. All attend worship service then the children are dismissed to children's church. My son enjoyed it. The preaching was good. They also sang part of one song in Spanish so that was cool. I did wear a dress and heels but you would be welcome here in jeans and t-shirts. Very casual. Main thing, these people are Jesus loving!
