But my Hamptons itinerary included spots that have valet and I wanted to feel a little less embarrassed, so I headed to Strebel's based on their good reviews. I opted for the full service interior and exterior wash but skipped the tire shine (it was only a few bucks extra but ehh). As they vacuumed out the interior, I watched the attendant take out everything from my trunk which I totally didn't expect him to do, bang off each beach chair and vacuum all the sand out of my car, every last grain. I ran over and gave this guy a nice tip because to me that was above and beyond - no one looks in my trunk except me, this was totally unnecessary but very nice. My car came out looking spotless, and I felt so much less embarrassed than I had when I drove into Strebel's (though still a little embarrassed to have my non-fancy car from the 90's washed alongside Teslas and Jaguars).

First, Rubio was selected by our insurance to fix a small dent/scratch on back left which turned into a repair cost of 5X of original quote and a spike in our insurance (not to mention it took 7-8 weeks!). While that was wrapping up, we had our second vehicle in for repairs to be covered under warranty and after 3-4 weeks of lies and being without the vehicle again, we lost our chance at getting the repairs. Travis had told us repeatedly (verbal, text & email) that he had submitted 3 claims for repairs. He never did, these were all lies! Turns out he did nothing. The overall communication and lack of execution was very poor! We were extremely disappointed and do not recommend Rubio/Travis to any of our friends and family in the area.

Brian was about 15 minutes late for our appointment but he texted to advise of his late ETA. Traffic can be unpredictable so that was understandable. He was very cordial and professional. Before he began, he asked if I had any questions and he answered any of my concerns. He spent about 4 hours reviving my 2014 minivan and it looked pretty awesome afterwards. I did noticed a couple of minor deficiencies and he quickly addressed and rectified them. The service cost is a bit high but I was pleased with his efforts and his results. Reached out after seeing his reviews on the Internet and I shared photos of the dent by text. We agreed on a date, a location and a price. Confirmed the appointment this morning but changed the location because our kids are home, sick. No problem for The Dent Guy! He arrived a bit early, super pleasant to work with and had my dent corrected in no time. A total pleasure. Going to follow all of this up by saying that I do have a local body shop that I like. They do great work and I've never felt overcharged. Downside is that a trip to the body shop means that I'll be without my vehicle for the day while it's being worked on.
