I recommend these to anyone if u want a good car sold by an honest dealership then go see The Wholesale House at Rocklea you will be sure to find an awesome vehicle

They did promise to fix everything but messed me about and seemed keen to drop me perhaps because I told them I would get my mechanic to check the repairs before purchasing. At first I thought they were great. Friendly and helpful and fully supportive of me getting an independent inspection which I was told would find nothing wrong as the car was 'great condition'. I paid the deposit and took the car to an independent mechanic for an inspection. Turned out there were several things that needed attention and the mechanic was surprised it had passed the RWC, but he said if the list of problems were addressed it would be a good car as it had been well maintained. Wholesale House took it all on board and said they'd fix the list of problems if I still wanted the car. I said yes if it passes a follow up check by my mechanic. All good. Dan would let me know when the car would be ready and it would probably take a few days. So I waited. And waited. I started to worry. Maybe the problems with the car were too great? I was trying to get it all sorted before the end of the school holidays so I messaged Dan and asked what was happening. He messaged back and said he'd check and get back to me that day. He didn't. So a couple of days later I decided to look at other cars and asked for my deposit back. he texts me explaining there was a death in the boss's family (it's a family business) and he has 'been a little stretched'. Ok now I feel bad. I leave it for a while thinking that he has a lot on his plate, while friends and family urge me to look elsewhere for a car. I'm not sure. So I give him most of the following week then call. He explains how hard it has been and said he knows they've been working on my car as he has seen it all in pieces and promises to get back to me that afternoon. He doesn't. I wait. Then a few days later message him to say I've had enough and want me deposit back. He messages straight back to say 'sure, no worries'. Then promptly puts the ad back up on carsales. I message him saying that I was disappointed that he found time straight away to relist the car but couldn't pick up the phone and tell me when the repairs would be done. he replies with more of how hard it has been for him and 'it just happened that way', no apology or effort to make amends. I'm assuming that as he could list it straight away, then repairs had been done, so I can only assume that the car would not have passed the follow up inspection by my mechanic and so they were happy to let me go.

But their whole attitude and they way i was spoken to from them was disgusting and quick to palm you off . Asked for a full written roadworthy report for the original roadworthy . which they cant supply or don't want to. As it is done by an independent mechanic only roadworthy given is a basic one which must be supplied by law. The car was serviced by me with a qualified mechanic. His report shows the oil has not been changed for a long time and metal fragments were found in the oil. It would appear all they do is detail the car and a basic roadworthy as per law.

We bought a car from Jason on the 5 April 2014 and 6 weeks later the engine has packed up. The car was leaking oil, smoke was pouring from the engine and the final straw was when the car's cooling system could no longer cope and the engine started overheating. In the 6 weeks, we had to replace a wheel bearing and the CV boot is cracked so grease was leaking out. His answer to our complaint is that it is out of the statutory warranty and there was nothing he could do. After a complaint to Fair Trade, we have been informed that he will repair it for us at trade cost. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM MOOROOKA WHOLESALE OR JASON MACKAY.
