The meats are halal which means fresh! With hands down the best chickens in town . Beans sell so well that they tend to be very fresh and cook beautifully Un beatable price and choice of Middle East specialties which as an Italian American I really appreciate And when in season they sell Italian fryin peppers which are fantastic

So for those who love eating a lot of greens and variety, I definitely recommend it. It's also a good store when you just need to pick up small items like milk, eggs, or vegetables. Their fruits and vegetables are cheaper than Trader Joe's. They also often carry halal organ meats like liver and chicken hearts. Some items can be a bit overpriced, but the fruits and vegetables are definitely worth buying - they taste like they're straight from the garden. The downside is that you should be careful while choosing berries - sometimes there can be mold (though this can happen in any store). And that there's a credit card processing fee. However, despite a few drawbacks, I'm giving it 5 stars because their business is really valuable, and I wish them continued success and prosperity. I definitely recommend stopping by - there are always many interesting and tasty things to find at affordable prices. The cashiers are also very kind and friendly, thanks for the service!

When I went, there was only 1 vendor who offered something thats sizeable enough to be a meal. Almost half of the other vendors sold baked goods or snacks, so make sure to eat a good meal before you come here. I wish they had more food to offer Aside from that, I was happy with their choices of vendors and hope they keep letting them attend. Saw one full of crystals, which I pictured, and I saw one that sold alpaca-wool goods and traditional souvenirs. There was a sweet old lady with her handmade soap which I made sure to support, because it didnt seem like anyone came by and I really wanted to help her out. Make sure to support your local creators and farmers yguys, even the produce here are great deals

That being said it had ample parking and it is nice they block off the street for it. Aside from that if you are in the area or perhaps going to the Costco across the street it is worth a stop especially if you pair it with the multitude of eateries that line the street

On February 28, my friends and I asked an employee near the office where the ATM was. She ignored us at first, and later we saw her walk past us with another employee while laughing and directing racial slurs toward our group. On March 7, we encountered the same employee again and she once again shouted racially offensive language toward us. Then on March 8, the situation escalated. As she walked past us, she hit my shoulder while passing by and yelled racial slurs in both English and Spanish. I reported the incidents through OCC's complaint system but had not received a response before the third incident occurred, which is extremely concerning. The employee's name is Karen L. I'm sharing this as a caution to other minority customers. No one should experience harassment or discrimination from staff at a public marketplace.

Unfortunately, they don't have a social media presence that would allow me not to waste my time coming here when they occasionally cancel the market. For example, the week of July 4, 2024 the market was canceled, even though July 4 was a Thursday, not a Tuesday. Today vendors included: 2 or 3 produce, French bakery, tamales, pupusas (smelled really good!), bread, hummus, jerky, crystals, soap.

Some close earlier than 2 pm. Some start closing at 1:30 pm. If the Tamale guy sells out early, he leaves. There is a Central American hot food booth and a Tamales booth for those that want hot food. There are also pastries, fruits, eggs, vegetables, bread, clothing, jewelry, and miscellaneous stuff. Some booths are there consistently and others are hit and miss. It is a small market. Very convenient parking, lots of parking. It is very convenient for the Leisure World retirement community, who are near by. They do not set up on Major Holidays. The Tamale guy seems to be very popular because the Pork tamales sell out early. I have to get there at 9 am in order to be guaranteed to have Tamales to bring home.
