Westmoreland Concrete poured sidewalks and two patios for us in October 2023. One patio now has holes in concrete. The sidewalks and other patio are still good. We contacted Westmoreland Concrete by email (twice) and phone (twice) asking for a recommendation on how to repair the holes so they didn't get any larger. John was to to come out and take a look and never showed. We called again and they said they would call us right back. No call. Their customer service is very poor. read more

Contracted them to replace existing wall. Agreed to start job in the beginning of June. Took 10% deposit. Disappeared for over a month. While making several calls to get update poured concrete steps supported by failing wall began to detach from house. This resulted in additional costs in having them remove the porch and stairs. On they day they do show up they start to jackhammer out the wrong stairs. These need to be replaced. To their credit do it on their dime. However,during the replacement they destroy pvc pipe that is in ground for storm water removal. Do not fix and press me to allow them to finish job without resolving this issue. End up having to redo entire system and because they want to be done, have not built a way for me to run pipe through wall. Have ​to run length of wall and then down the side. Per plumber who estimated effort, any competent company would have built in means to circumvent wall. read more

Mike and his crew damaged the electrical line to my lamp post while laying my sidewalk. I've been trying since April to get him to come out and see the damage and he keeps saying he will come and never shows up. I offered to have an electrician come out and fix it then send him the bill. He said he would be over the next day. Never showed up. His concrete work looks good but they damage things while doing it and never repair what they messed up. read more

Mike installed a driveway and steps last fall. Four months later and we have a big crack in the driveway and one in the steps. He keeps telling me he'll come look at it but never shows up. Very difficult to get a hold of. read more

I had Mike from Westmoreland Concrete install a concrete patio with a fire ring. They did a great job at a good price and it looks great.

Terrible Company Guarantee/Warranty Issues Complaint Within two years the surface of our driveway began to crumble. We tried to contact Westmoreland Concrete (Owner Mike S*****) numerous times about the problem through phone calls, email and messages on their website to no avail. Months later Mike S***** did respond to our calls about the problem... which he immediately stated you put too much salt on it. We have never used salt on the driveway. Eventually, Mike S***** admitted the problem was a bad batch of concrete after receiving several other complaints. Mike S***** and the people from the company that provided him with the concrete inspected our driveway and admitted fault. We were told by Mike S***** he would tear up our driveway and replace it by the Spring of 2014. All this was to be done at no cost to us. Mike S***** said he needed to work out the details with his insurer. Mike S***** never contacted us so in June of 2014 we tried to contact him. It took countless calls but eventually he returned one and stated the work it would be done in the Fall 2014. He never showed up or contacted us and ignored all of our calls through the end of the year. The same exact thing happened in the Spring of 2015 and the Fall of 2015. Several calls and eventual agreement to fix the problem which did not come to fruition. Lastly, we contacted Mike S***** in early March 2016 and he told us he would be in touch within 30 days to schedule our driveway replacement for early Spring. Several attempts to Contact him have been ignored. Mike S***** is unresponsive, unprofessional and untruthful. Westmoreland Concrete is the worst Contractor Company we have ever hired. Most likely he absconded with the insurance money at this point. Desired Resolution The Driveway needs to be replaced. read more
