My husband and I found Neilly Canvas Goods several years ago after just adding a large patio to the back of our home. We wanted to add drop awnings that blocked the sun when needed but equally important, wanted a quality product that would last a long time. This is my first review post, but I feel it necessary to let others know about this WONDERFUL Awning Company!! We've purchased several awnings for our deck over the past 27 years from other companies and this is our 4th Awning that we purchased from Neilly Canvas Goods Company. The owner, Les Neilly, came out to our home during the peak of his busy season and patiently sat down with us as we looked through several sample books to find the perfect awning for our home. He had more choices than any other awning company we worked with in the past. And Les truly knows his trade!! He listened patiently to what we wanted and guided us on choosing the perfect awning fabric and trim... While he was at our home, he noticed that the pitch of our awning was too flat and it caused our old awning to sag a bit in the middle ~ so he also made the necessary adjustments to the frame which made the new awning pitch and fit perfect!!! (...no other company we've worked with ever mentioned that they could adjust the existing frame the way Les did ~ we were always told we would have to invest in a whole new frame!) Les personally came out to our home several times to measure and make sure the adjustments were done correctly ~ he really takes great pride in his work! We were in a hurry to get the awning installed because we were having a party in our home the following month. It was their busy season and although they were jammed with orders, Les promised he would do his best to meet the deadline. Well, he not only was helping to install our BEAUTIFUL awning ~ he made sure it was installed before our party‼ AND ~ they called us when the season was over to schedule to remove and store our awning for the winter!!! No other awning company we worked with in the past was as thorough and caring as Neilly's... I can't say enough about this company!! If you're looking for an awning company ~ you don't have to look any further!! THIS IS THE ONLY AWNING COMPANY WE WILL EVER USE!!!
