This was my first time getting a medical facials& was truly blown away by the care & services I received. Afterwards, I began the laser treatments on my face, which were intense, but the esthetician took her time & prepped me, & handled me with care. I had more ingrowns after this sugaring than the previous one, I'm not sure who's to blame. To be honest. I know I exfoliate. My eyebrows were gorgeous, no issues there. The face sugaring... she told me I had bumps because of folliculitis. This was the first case of her dodging blame and blaming the customer. It was my first time having the hair removed from my face. So I'm not sure if that's true or not but what I do know is. She does double dip in the wax. So it could have been a a slight infection. Today when she messed up my eyebrows, well.... the skin under them.... she tried to tell me that it was a normal thing just like she said the folliculitis was a normal thing. She went from saying all I made a mistake I didn't hold your skin tight enough..... to saying it's a normal thing it happens to everyone. I'm starting to think the "folliculitis" was not a normal thing. It caused a lot of hyperpigmentation on my face. For which she also wouldn't hold herself accountable for. The thing is, if it was just folliculitis, then my eyebrows and lip should've had folliculitis as well but it was just on the sides. I've had to explain multiple times if someone comes to you to receive a treatment, and when they leave their face is worse. You have to hold yourself accountable for stuff like that. Today I had to explain to her that you can't mentally manipulate someone and try to make them feel like it's their fault when you do something wrong. She tried to tell me if you're out in the sun too much or maybe use retinol or maybe it's just the wax the wax took the skin off. No you control the way you waxed the skin off my face. She said she never had a client try to make her feel bad before. And I was a bad person. But I can't make you feel bad if you feel bad.... it's because you know you did something wrong. She kept saying that I should stop accusing her. When it was fresh and it just happened.... and there is no one else to, as she calls it, accuse. She started getting loud she started talking over me all of the signs that people exhibit when they know they're wrong. She had a client that was coming right after me even though she said she didn't work on Mondays. I think maybe she was rushing. Imagine putting wax on a wax strip on skin, and not holding it taut. When you go to rip it off, the skin is going to lift with it vs holding it tight enough so it can't. But she tried to tell me "the wax grabbed the skin and the skin just lifted" at first. The skin doesn't just lift on its own. When she saw I wasn't buying it then she said..... "maybe I didn't hold your skin enough". She keeps calling it a minor "skin irritation" what I don't think she understands is.... she waxed multiple layers of skin off of my face. I've got quite a bit of hyperpigmentation on my skin from the sugaring.

I arrived a few minutes early because I was on a time crunch, but I waited in the lobby alone until after my appointment time started. I heard people, which I believe were employees talking in the back for a while. About 5 minutes after my appointment "officially" started my technician came to the lobby to tell me she was going to clean off the bed and would be right back. A couple minutes later she returned and walked me to the back. She asked me to sit on the wet bed, which I did. She went over the consent form and began going over the process, but I was familiar with a lash lift, so I asked her to just get to the service. At this point it was already 20 minutes after my appointment time started and the service still hadn't begun. She finally got to the service and started with a nice relaxing massage (about a minute). Then she proceeded to tape down my lashes for the next 10 minutes. She struggled to do this because she cleaned my eyes with a sopping wet cotton round. Then she asked me to open my eyes, which let even more micellar water in my eyes. She eventually gave up on taping down my bottom lashes. Everything from here went downhill. She asked me why if my eyes are always so watery....Uh they weren't until you saturated them. Then she proceeds to glue down the lash form. She gave me medium, which was for the first time of my life. My lashes a me pretty long and I always get at least large. She offered me a tissue to help with the scent of the first smelly cream. I declined. She got sooo much of it in my eyes that they sarted to burn horribly and wouldn't stop pouring tears . I told her it was burning and she tried to clean it, but she got a lot of product directly in my eyes. I was ready to run to the bathroom and wash my face. She rushed through the rest of the process and even took the lash forms off then put them back on to clean off the excess product. She put them back onto do the tint, but by then I was ready to run out. After she was done she handed me the mirror and I've never seen my eyes so bloodshot and so puffy. They were painful on their own and to the touch. It took days for them to feel normal. Then I finally saw the outcome...this is the worst last lift of my life. They are soooo crooked, crossed, and unnatural. 2 stars for the good service. For context, I have had over 15 lash lifts in my life and this was my worst by far! I'm stuck like this for 3 months and now my lashes are starting to thin out.

The facial was awesome! Sandra spoke with me about my diet and exercise routines, and the impact that these factors have on our overall skin health. From the facial you are given a robe and walked to the relaxation room to enjoy some coconut water, green tea, or water as you await your massage. Beanca was my masseuse and she applied the medium pressure in all of the right spots, elongating the muscles and soothing the soreness that engulfed my body.
