Our family has lived at Westport Apartments for a little over a year now. We just signed another year lease, because we love it and feel safe here!! The apartments are beautiful! This complex has so many great amenities! I think my kids love the pool best, but there is also a gaming room with different game systems for them to play on. There are two bbq areas, a playground, and a cool doggie park! Everyone here is very nice! We have made several friends with our neighbors since moving here. The Lady's in the office are wonderful! You can tell that they really care about the community and all of us that live here! They do an amazing job! They have a great maintenance team that stays on top of everything around the complex. If your looking for a great, family friendly, safe, quiet place to live...look no further! read more

I wish there was an option for zero stars. I lived here for 5 years. Cops always banging on doors all around property. It's run down and the management is very deceitful. Don't get suckered in by the low price. Learn from my 5 year mistake. Stay away. Swat team even showed up once. Drug dealers run the parking lots. And cops don't want to show up when called. Work orders take 8 month or more. Stay away. EDIT: They responded to me here on this review. Don't let that fool you. They are not alarmed. They are fully aware as I have called several times over the course of 2 years about this. I left them and went somewhere else and they stuck me with a bill that hit my credit. That bill was bogus and I was not given a fair chance to address it or even pay it. TRASH! read more

If I could give these apts Zero I would! All I can say is RUN! Apts are trash roach infested run down apts! Everything falls apart and every month your rent is a different price from all the extra fees they charge. Any review above 1 star is fake or paid I promise you and if you're desperate for a place please sign a month to month or 3 months the least as possible because you're gonna want to move I promise! read more

Lisa and Ashley are always friendly and helpful serving the residents of Westport. Whenever I need assistance, they have gone above and beyond to help me. They have been very patient and empathetic with residents in helping them with rental assistance during the pandemic so they can remain in their apartments. The maintenance crew is always quick and helpful in resolving maintenance and repair issues. I recommend this community in Angleton. read more

I can't thank you enough Rockstar for our new apartment manager, Lisa! She is a real gem! I have been here 16 years and have seen the staff here come and go! Some good , some not so! I've pretty much seen it all here and I can tell you some of the things I've seen and heard has been an unpleasant experience in the beginning when I first arrived here until Rockstar stepped in and made improvements! Lisa seems to be very aware of what her job is and does it well! it's a pleasure to go in the office and sit down and tell her your needs.She's quick to respond and with a smile always! I don't think I've ever seen her not smile when you approach her!! Her attitude is wonderful and very professional and courteous!! I love that!! It makes for a comfortable environment when walking in that office and a more relaxed feeling of accomplishing things on a one on one, and feeling that it genuinely is! She is Just a delightful and refreshing addition to this apartment complex!! It has not always been that way I assure you! Not only is Lisa doing a fantastic job, but is so considerate and caring, and In this business that's a must!! Maintenance is also working hard to improve! I just adore Alvaro, and I have full confidants in him when he works on my apartment.He's been here a long rime and has never disappointed me! I trust him immensely and Not worried one bit if i'm not able to be there for someone to come in! Thai's a bonus too! So Rockstar, let's keep this going because the road paved here seems like one someone would want to continue traveling! I paid my rent on time. I Told apartment management to "Please fix my rotting floor in my bathroom!!" They did not do it. I asked them to fix my light and ceiling fan, They did not do it either!! I couldn't control the roaches, I hit them with every kind of poison, and I could never kill them. The parking area is very small. At night it is very dark, especially when there is no moon. The front gate was broken and was half open most of the time. The combination of broken front security gate, and poor lighting, made me worry about crime. Poor lighting and an open gate are always an invitation for criminals to visit. I left in April on good terms with the management. I cleaned the place and took care of the carpet. Today I get a letter demanding $500 to clean the place and replace the carpet. A friend of mine moved out a month or two before me. She also cleaned her Unit from top to bottom. The management company demanded $400 from her too!!! If you like your hard earned money, stay away from this place. This place should get no STARS!!! "The last time I checked,extortion was considered a felony in Texas." read more

The electricity is going out and there is no help to get it fixed. More than once the brick veneer to buildings have fallen off. The laundry is a constant mess with non-working equipment. The service is slow, if you call after closing there is no one to come to help. The equipment in the apartments is ancient, old HVAC systems, old refrigerators, old, rusted sinks, (I did not know a sink could rust). If I were not so old, I would try to move.

It would be the perfect place if the manager found something to do that doesn't involve pestering her tenants over ridiculous reasons. The apartments are very outdated and are sprayed monthly for pests, but that doesn't stop the little roaches from constantly running around. If you can stand to have someone that acts more like a stepmother that hates you constantly getting in your business and can find an open apartment, then this place might be for you.

I would like to give recognition to the great staff we have at Westport Apartments. Our Manager Mrs. Lisa has a heart of gold, she will do her best to help her residents. If you have an issue, she always does her best to get it taken care of. Can't leave out our Assistant Manager, Ms. Ashley, who always has a warm, and welcoming greeting as you walk threw the office doors. We have Mr. Alvaro and his maintenance crew, who comes and fix what needs fixing. With this wonderful staff, and nice Amenities, it makes Westport Apartments not just a Community, but feels more like a family. read more

I have to say that our maintenance guy Alvaro is one of the best maintenance workers we've had at the Westport Apartments in Angleton. He's super helpful and always very courteous and always does things right. He never does a bad job like so many of the others and fixes things in a timely manner. We are lucky to have such a great maintenance employee. I'm very glad he's lasted through all the terrible managers we've had. The new manager we have seems like she is much different than all the rest. Glad things are getting better. read more

Westport is a wonderful little community in itself nestled near shopping, schools and entertainment venues in Angleton, TX. The 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms are spacious and all have w/d connections. Westport features a sparkling pool, bbq grilling areas, a huge bark park and a Texas size swing lounge. Apply and move in during the month of December and pay just 250-300 total! Whether it is explaining answers to any questions or just being approachable and are great at showing care towards the apartments and its residents.
