During the summer, they schedule a several tours though Wilsonville on their trolley. Think this will be a slow meander though town? Think again. The trolley runs at the speed a regular bus would go, which means the wind whips though your hair, and your 3 year old squeals with delight every time you take off from a streetlight. If you live on the far south end of Portland, and you have little people, this is a summer must do. And you know what else? They don't charge for the trolley ride, they suggest a monetary donation that goes to the local food bank. Just when I thought my afternoon outing couldn't get any better, I was informed that my donation benefits the food bank. How cool is that?! During the winter Smart does a trip or two out the PIR to see the holiday lights. You park at the Wilsonville Community Center and board the bus- then your hassle is over. Go enjoy the PIR lights with my kid without worrying about navigating traffic? Um, please. Sign me up! Smart is definitely an asset to family life in Wilsonville!

He was very helpful in setting up my schedule. After the times were nailed down, I felt confident that he would take care of me. A couple weeks after making my schedule, I needed to change the time: no problem! I was picked up right on time, the driver was very nice, opened my door and took my bags. Told me where I'd be picked up, but I didn't quite know what he was talking about, lol! (the airport is a lot different from the last time I went there.) On the way back, Sam contacted me with a courtesy reminder while I was still in transit. I was very grateful for the reminder as I was totally exhausted. I asked at that time, "if i can get an earlier flight, will that work for you?" he says, "yes." **PLEASE NOTE: Twice I've made a plan and later asked to change it; the second time, my request was last minute. Both times, they were on board with whatever I wanted to do. Upon arrival, Sam gave me instructions on where to meet my driver. He was right there...NO WAITING, no wondering if this was my guy. He hopped out and grabbed my stuff. (I am sure I looked pretty wilted.) Saib was easy to chat with and friendly...I enjoyed having him as my driver. Sometimes emergencies or rush situations happen and scheduling medical transport with wheelchair capability can be a serious hassle since most transport requires advanced scheduling and planning. COMPARISONS - Sadly many insurance don't cover non-emergency medical transport. Getting old isn't cheap and medical transport isn't either, compared to other similar services ANEMT rates are average to a little better. MetroWest transport is the most popular and great, but they are constantly booked at least 1-2 days out or 5-10 hours for same day. MetroWest also has stair capable wheelchairs and stretchers by request and door to door service. TriMet offers basic medical transport for fairly cheap via shuttle, but they don't offer door to door so you'll need someone to push if the chair isn't motorized and electric. Uber and Lyft have wheelchair capable vehicles, but again, no door to door service and requires advanced scheduling. Interestingly Kaiser Washington State insurance covers non-emergency transport, but not in Oregon. Above and beyond - Along with being able to respond quickly with door to door service, they helped with transferring inside the home to and from the wheelchair. Aways super nice and friendly guys. Easy pay via credit card through a tex message link or over the phone. Have questions, be sure to ask, they are very helpful and accommodating. There is also an area to lock up bikes. The WES Commuter Train stops here on its way to Wilsonville in one direction and Beaverton Transit Center in the other direction with stops in Tigard and at the Hall/ Nimbus WES Station before reaching Beaverton. The WES Commuter Train only runs Monday through Friday and only during commute times. The trains are very comfortable with plush cushioned seats. There is a steward on board. This WES station always feels safe and appears clean. There are lots of dining and shopping establishments in the area.

As a new business owner, I have utilized this station a few times and don't regret it at all. I work in Lake Oswego&Clackamas and once I get to the train station by car and step on the the waiting area a WES train or TriMet Bus arrives right on time, possibly in a matter of 20 seconds give or take. It's the perfect solution to being congested on a freeway full of brake lights. Parking can fill up fast but I'm not too concerned because there's plenty of other spaces nearby that are open for use. My friends and I both stay in the Tualatin area and this is our way to go. 90% of the time it's pretty quiet here with the exception of a train horn or bus engine. It's also really safe here. I've came to this station multiple times and a TriMet cop is already nearby. I can't get anything better than this in California. The station feels like home because most people that wait with me are regulars. This is why I not only like Tualatin but the station as well.

The gentlemen we had were friendly and took care of all of our luggage. The company has great communication. We were scheduled to be picked up at 4:45am but at around 9pm the night before I started getting nervous that we should leave a few minutes earlier, so I sent them an email asking if we could leave at 4:30am instead, really not expecting anyone to respond in time. They actually emailed me back within 10 minutes and confirmed the earlier pick-up time. Then, our return flight landed at PDX (an unheard of!) 40 minutes early. As soon as we touched down I texted the number to see if there would be any way someone could come pick us up for 40 minutes earlier than planned, again not necessarily expecting a response - especially since it was close to midnight. However, they texted me back instantly that my driver would be in touch with me soon, and sure enough our driver texted me within a few minutes. By the time we grabbed our suitcases off of the conveyor and walked a few minutes to the curb, our driver was already there and waiting despite us being 40 minutes early - and, again, it was close to midnight on a Wednesday. We are customers for life!

The choice was an Uber, which would not have worked for our situation, or a luxury car service. Hewar was wonderful from when I first called him to arrange our trip. He was attentive and patient, even when I called him multiple times with questions. The manager, Rasheem, met us at baggage claim. Our driver, Zhieco, was professional and friendly. He helped us get our (very heavy) luggage into the hotel. On the other hand, the company I called first did not give me a chance to explain why we needed help at baggage claim. As soon as he heard that, he immediately said he couldn't help me. He threatened to post my phone number online when I wrote him a one-star review. I was shocked. I would've taken it down, regardless, because I don't post bad reviews. So, I was especially glad to talk with Hewar on my second phone call. I highly recommend Elite. If I ever need a service like this again, I will for sure call Hewar.
