This school sucks just in general. I never want to send my kid to this school again. The teachers can be nice but the dress code sucks. I get part of it there shouldn't be that much skin showing but let's be honest now. Why can't they have holes above the knees? It's not like boys should be looking at a tiny hole and get turned on? Why should it be there fault? Im sending my daughter to this school and omg she comes home crying every day. I have to deal with it. When she explains what happened it because kids make fun of her and the teachers do nothing but watch? Honestly what the fuck kind of school is this. It should be safe for others not bad. Then she came home crying because she forgot to wipe the tables and a teacher yelled at her? She also didn't feel good and had the flu. Then another day she went to the nurse because she didn't feel good and that's reasonable. The nurse was being incredibly mean to her she told her to suck it up. Only if you have a fever u can call ur parents and get sent home. It took me getting the board of education involved just to get ahold of the school. I called over 20 times and they didn't answer and when I drop off things they never call up my kid to pick it up.. It sickens me how they treat the kids. And their food is terrible my other child that goes there he sends me photos of the food they serve. Their chicken sandwich was soggy along with all the other ones. They just throw food in their plates and call it a day. I have picked my child up so many times from school crying and her telling me that she was crying all day. In the halls,classrooms. And the teachers ignored her and didn't even care about her crying. It's sad how they treat this school. I dont recommend this school at all it's terrible. please fix your school and counselors. I go to Westside middle school and it is the best school ever. The staff members are insanely nice and amazing I'm so glad I have two more years. The rest of the reviews suck don't listen from the parents point of view. This school is absolutely amazing!!! We have sooo many fun events. Also I know A LOT of kids who have all A's so with that being said they do care about your kids education and maybe it's just your kids not paying attention!!! Also the dress code is not that strict okay so listen up I wear jeans that may not be appropriate for the dress code I know many girls who wear the same thing.
