Tow truck driver stole my purse then denied it. I asked the office staff to call the police and they said no. The staff is sooooooo rude, will hang up on you, not helpful, rude ass people. It's a shame I can't give 0 stars. These are the type of people who clock in to do the bare minimum and just go in for the paycheck. They have no real sense of meaning within them enough to have better work ethic. And they charge RIDICULOUS fees even for a towing company. The female who answers the phone has a nasty attitude and is terribly unprofessional. You can hear the misery and anger in her voice. In addition, they aren't open on Sundays !!! And they close at 1:00 PM on Saturdays ! So you have to pay extra for their laziness and lack of reliable staff. The only reason they are still in business is because of the police department sending a majority of the cars here. It's a shame. They understand people are desperate to get their cars out and they are completely willing to capitalize on it. read more

They claim no vehicles are to be left in Pompano Plaza parking lot or they get towed. Hmmmmm, just drove by and there are five vehicles left in parking lot at 1 AM. I wonder if they will go and round them all up tonight. Or maybe because of all the bad reviews about their shady practices of stealing peoples vehicles and damaging peoples vehicles, they have taken a break from all their Preditory towing they have been doing lately. read more

I was getting my friends truck out of impound and I'm used to being treated like garbage from any tow yard with a city contract but this particular location or west way is different. The guy there was super cool and helpful. He let me go in the yard to inspect the vehicle and even moved it so I could check the engine before paying to have it released. If your car is impounded or towed these people will not make the experience more unpleasant. I've had very bed experiences with emerald towing in the past and was expecting it to be like that but I was wrong. read more

The ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY IVE EVER DEALT WITH! They have a contract with most police departments in Broward County and sure as hell show up almost instantly when they get a call from them. However, when my fiancé's motorcycle got a flat, they quoted him 30 mins.........4 hours later, after him sitting in 95 degree weather, they try to tell him they're on the way. WORST towing company ever!! I've never had my personal vehicle treated so carelessly! When we arrived to the parking lot that this company towed our car from, there were two tow trucks. Both drivers were out of the car and once they saw our car heading directly to them, one jumped back in his truck while the other hurried to try and finish putting our car on the back of his truck. The other driver actually moved behind the other tow truck and intentionally blocked our car from going any closer to the tow truck with our car on the back. I jumped out hoping to speak to the other driver but he immediately sped off--very recklessly at that! I ran back to my car and we sped off right behind him. He was driving over medians and speeding excessively in residential areas. We followed him for as long as we could but he made an illegal turn over a median and went the opposite direction. No worries, I had GPS so I entered it in my GPS and drove directly to the tow truck yard. We beat the tow truck there and immediately asked for the manager but the manager stepped outside with attitude. He even cursed my boyfriend out and dared him to hit him. How mature, right?! All these people do is lie. I had a car towed a few days ago and the told me it's been there for a month. Customer service is shit. The documents needed get switched around depending on who you talk to. But expect shitty service from a company who has a contract with a shitty police department. Broward Sheriff office is a joke and Westway towing is a bigger joke. I hope you guys go out of business! read more

I will be going to court with these people. They towed my car off private property from my Automotive Shop. When Car has a bad clutch and was getting work done to it. I called to speak to them about it and they were nothing but rude specially the lady up front handling all the paper work. Tried telling them it was private property and she didn't want to hear anything about it. So I had to go get my customers car out of the tow yard, paid 160 for 7 hours of them holding the car. I wanted to see the car before paying but she wouldn't let me unless signing a waiver to go back into the tow yard, but on the paper work it stated as well they were responsible for any damage to cars. So I had to sign the paper to even enter the yard to look at the car. To find out there was damage on the Right rear bumper. "You signed the paper stating we aren't responsible". So now I have to explain what happened to my customer and get his bumper fixed. I will see you guys in court! DONT USE THIS TOW COMPANY! read more
