If i could give Dr A a negative 5 stars , I would I think he is a sociopath that derives personal joy for others suffering. I had to what he referred to as a football size abcess that Pentwater my sonus cavity. I was crying hysterically from the in tense pain and he refused to give me anything for the pain. He told me to take motrin. He gave me 300 mg clyndimiacyn for. Week to help reduce the infection but a week later I went back for the extraction and I could feel everything. The novacaine didn't work bc it was still badly infected and I was screaming in pain whe he pulled the tooth. He then said it was still infected and I needed another week of antibiotics instead of the 300mg the gave me q50mg and when it was all gone it was still badly infected and pouring pus. DR A SAID THE PRESURE WAS NOT I FECTION BIT SWELLING IN SPITED OF THE PUS. HD I trusted him i would have become septic and died. I saw another Dr who gave me a stronger antibiotic that learn the jnfectiom pus and all in 3 days so if yoy value your life dont for to etth and Thomas location and don't see Dr. A!!!! IVE RESCHEXULED AN APPT COR NEXT WEEK AT THEIR BELL RD LOCATOON AND IM SURE I WILL BE THERE SINCE THE DADISTIC XR A WONT BE THERE. HE IS JORRIBLE AND NOT TO BE TRUSTED! This place is AWESOME!!!!!! I called there with an emergency tooth extraction and they made sure I was seen immediatly. I was greeted not only on the phone by VERY pleasant people, but in person they are amazing. They are friendly, professional and extremely helpful. I wish I had seen all these bad reviews before going to Westwind Dental. I was promised bridges and a beautiful smile if I spent $10.000.00. So far I have missing teeth they pulled, I can't eat, and the dentist at the Maryvale office dismissed me. I was then informed I couldn't have bridges but partials. After I was told I would have all permanent bridges. The reason for the work was because I wanted permanently affixed teeth. Their promises mean nothing. It's all about the mighty dollar and nothing else. Forget the patient who went in with teeth and has left without the ability to chew food, who cares? Not them!! They charged for procedures that they didn't do. They billed my insurance , received payment and then deducted the money again from the loan they suggested I get. This is fraud and they will be hearing from my attorney and I am going to the ADA on Drinkwater in Scottsdale to further file complaints against them. It's been a year since my work and two teeth that "desperately needed crowns" still hurt! I can't eat properly, I can't even eat an Apple on that side of my mouth because it makes my crowed teeth hurt. Chewing a diced tomato is also too hard for these crowns. I had all FOUR wisdom teeth pulled today! !! I was super nervous after hearing about my friends experiences. Cindy and the rest of the staff was very reassuring. Every one from the assistants to the surgeon made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The procedure was very fast which I loved. The surgeon communicated with me the whole time which helped a lot. If you want to be part of a dental circus, this is the place! Even after setting up an appointment(3rd street location) for regular cleaning and reminding multiple times( both on phone and in person through spouse), they were insistent on doing only photographs during the appointment. Either they think folks have all the sweet time in the world for their professional photography or they have total disrespect for people's time. Either ways, very unprofessional. They keep changing their own statements from saying regular cleaning will be done post xrays while you are seated in the waiting room to saying they can only do xrays while you are on the dental chair. They don't even read your prior xrays/documents ( in my case they insisted I had 2013 xrays and when I insisted on calling my previous providers, miraculously my xrays that were taken a year ago appeared). The General Manager is very curt and upon insisting I wanted to meet the doctor, flatly refused my request. She even started blaming me for setting up 1 hour (its them who decided on duration)for appointment, with 30 mins left on the dental chair. When I told her it was not my fault that I wasn't attended for first half hour while sitting on dental chair , she started quoting paperwork as reason. In reality, I had gone early and finished paperwork within the first 5 mins. Please do not go here unless you are looking for some additional drama in life. read more

Horrible company. I thought my wife was covered under my insurance. Finally after 3 times of getting her teeth worked on, their billing department informed me she wasn't covered. OK fine, that's my bad. I should have triple checked. But to not catch it until after the third time? Shouldn't they have been aware that she wasn't covered. That's not the worst part of my complaint. For MONTHS I have been calling to try and get a payment plan set up so I can actually pay this off. Every single time I call, I'm told the one lady that sets up payment plans is never there. Never. I've called maybe 15 times. The last time I called, the lady told me she would send the email to Regina (the only person in the world at the company who can set up payment plans) and the people above Regina, so that way "something would get done." Nothing has been done since. When this first started I was told after all three procedures my wife had done, it would be $1,300. A few calls ago I was told it was now $1,800. They are a complete scam. I've never even received a paper bill. Once a lady named Linda called back and left a voicemail saying she could help me with the payment plan. I called back and was told no one named Linda worked there. Horrible horrible company. read more

Worst experience ever!! Not only did I wait 1.5 hrs but the moron who runs the front desk told me about care credit for a payment option which is fine. Failed to tell me that my wife must be present when filling out the document and what do u kn they are sending a letter out because she wasn't present to fill out the application herself. They need my wife to verify her identity. If everyone at this office was a professional the woman would of advised me to have my wife there in person. So I'm still in pain after biting the plate for the X-ray over an hour ago increasing my pain 10fx , So they're sending a letter out. At this point I'm highly upset that this moronic 'professional' steered me in the wrong direction with false information!!! She then tried to say it was all my fault!!! Can u believe that!!! I have to start this off by saying I have MAJOR anxiety when it comes to dentist. I had a broken tooth and the worst tooth ache due to it being infected. I called Westwind Dental after seeing their reviews on Google. I was able to be seen that same day. I needed to have two teeth extracted, one being a wisdom tooth and the impacted tooth right next to it, which was infected. Dr. Quihuis was so pleasant, as well as the rest of the staff I dealt with. They made me feel comfortable and at ease. I didn't have dental insurance, so they went over different options for me. I found their prices very resonable. The extractions were quick, no where near what I thought it'd feel like. I'll most definitely be coming back for all my other dental work! read more

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO WESTWIND DENTISTRY!! They are a very shady establishment! I'm not one to write reviews but I hope this review helps people stay away from this company and not have the heartache we have endured. I went there with my partner, we both had our teeth done there. They overcharged us. They didn't listen to us when we told them what we needed. They really pushed other things on us to get done that really didn't need to be done. I had to come in several different times. 1st time they had the wrong date second time I came in the had the wrong cap for my tooth I told them I'd rather have the right cap but the dentist insisted we do it and she would make it fit. If I didn't do it they would charge me for the visit. I didn't want to get charged so I stayed. Third time I got there and the dentist didnt know why I was scheduled. I have had nothing but trouble form both of my caps. The staff and the dentist always had two different ideas on what was happening with my particular situation. When my partner came they did a proceeder that was supposed to take an hour. They waited and messed around so long that the numbness wore off! Something that was supposed to take about an hour turned into a three and a half hour job. She was so exhausted when they finally got done getting there act together. I always had to tell the assistants what was happening with my procedure and what was being replaced. They didn't listen to what I really wanted done. They overcharged and they billed me for something that a year later should not have been billed for. Please DONT MAKE the same mistake we did! read more

They really disappointed me as I have been waiting for months for my partials. The lab they sent them to apparently lost the molds and now I have to start the process over again. But what upsets me most is had I not called to ask why it was taking over 4 months, they never would of contacted me about them. And I have already paid for them in full! The only thing about this place is the fact that they only charge $2 for x-rays. Please please do not go here. Absolutely horrible experience beginning to end. I can not believe I came in for a cap, paid 1200 for it, and a good 2-3 months later still don't have one on my tooth. I've been in 5-6 times and each time some type of issue. The doctor not being in or the cap not being made correctly. I am not joking when I say this, and now I'm sitting here with a disintegrated temporary cap and my tooth completely exposed. Good thing they're not open until Tuesday. Such a joke. They would say we will call you when it's in by tomorrow, not hear from them, and have to do my own damn follow up. They do not call you when they say they will, they do not have a company that makes caps correctly, and their main Doctor is in literally once every week or two. Don't have time the day he's in? Oh wait another 2 weeks. I've been in so many times for such a simple procedure I'm so blown away they're still a company. Never go to Westwind Dental!!!!! Especially to the location on 3rd Ave. There is a so called dentist by the name of Dr Beyramian that is so money hungry! She is rude, unfriendly and only cares about your insurance. She billed my insurance for work she didn't do. I went for a cleaning and after three hours she had ripped out three crowns, filling work, and didn't even consider or ask for my approval! She told her assistants to get all the money today because "I know he won't be back". She has had to reimburse the insurance for a crown that she never provided. Get This.... I thought I was done with this terrible place and they agreed to never make contact with me and I get a bill today, four months later. They are saying they didn't charge me enough. The insurance company is agreeing to get involved again. My new dentist says he has seen better work done. Get the word out that Westwind Dental is a scam and they do the same to people at all of their locations. I am making the state board aware of their practices. read more
