I don't normally write reviews, but I was extremely disappointed. My daughter gifted me a year of laser treatment for my upper lip from Groupon. There is no consistent standard of treatment--each lady does things differently. My last upper lip session lasted less than 30 seconds because the lady seemed rushed to get to the next patient. It's a complete waste of money. Don't go to there! Don't buy from Groupon to this place! read more

TERRIBLE !! Horrible customer service Dirty facility Terrible work I've been coming here for a year cause I bought a package deal through Groupon. Multiple times they burned my lips and left me with scraps and blisters . The machine is too large for upper lips so I was burnt many times. They are very sloppy with their work . I purchased a Groupon for 15 sq inches of tattoo removal. I had several tattoos that had already had 6 laser treatments elsewhere (last being 4 months ago). With the previous treatments I also used a 15" Groupon. I only switched as the previous place was a pain to get to. Westwood did not measure any of my tattoos. I was asked if I was going to use the Groupon for my 3 sessions (thinking she meant 3 visits), I said yes. Well apparently my 3 sessions were used for this visit (not that I'd ever return) The tattoo removal itself didn't bother me. It wasn't until I was being bandaged up that I realized I was heavily bleeding from all areas. By the time I got home I had blood running down my arm. It is now 5 days since the session and I have been doing everything to insure I don't get an infection. However I'm seeing pockmarks in my skin and time will tell if I'll be scarred for life. This has been a horrific experience for me and I hope others will not suffer as I have. read more

I got 2 sessions of the carbon laser facial at this location and (sadly) I'd have to give this place low stars for 3 reasons: 1. Upon walking into the spa to checking in, staff immediately pressured me to purchase additional service. Staff also asked me to purchase more sessions right after the procedure and upon check out. Honestly, I think it's more appropriate to ask after treatment, or better yet, don't ask at all and let your customers judge for themselves. I understand you want to promote your business, but constantly nagging customers to purchase is not a good way to do it. 2. Staff did not clean my face to prep for the procedure and I even asked about face cleaning. Even if it is not necessary, it is still standard practice to thoroughly cleanse the face with a gentle cleanser, removing all makeup, lotions, and other skincare products to ensure the skin is completely bare and clean for the procedure; this allows the laser to penetrate more effectively. Staff did not cleanse the face both sessions. 3. The last reason is very big for me, and it's basically a deal breaker if spa and facial clinics don't have this- Sunscreen. After every facial, It's generally recommended that you avoid tanning or activities that may lead to excess sun exposure. As always, even if you're in the sun for a short amount of time, you should wear sunscreen to protect your skin. This place does laser treatments and yet they don't have sunscreen for customers to protect our skin after. I cleanse my face and brought my own sunscreen for the 2nd session cause I want optimal result and protect my skin. Overall, it's a hard pass for me - I don't find them to be professional to come back. read more

I had a mixed experience here. The staff are friendly, which I appreciated. However, I ultimately did not see the results I expected from a full year of Brazilian laser hair removal (12 sessions). I chose this clinic after seeing a large number of five-star reviews, so I came in with fairly high expectations. During my consultation, I was told that results can vary, but that most people should notice a meaningful reduction after completing at least 8-10 of the treatments. In my case, after a year, the hair became slightly thinner, but there was no significant reduction in overall growth. I was also given mixed messaging about the technology used. After several sessions without noticeable progress (which I understand can be normal early on), I was advised to try a different machine that was described as stronger (there are two machines in each room). However, at a later appointment when I requested the stronger machine again (most nurses default to the weaker one and there is no record of what you used during your last treatment), the nurse was pretty hesitant to use it due to a recent incident where someone had been burned. That inconsistency made it difficult to feel confident in the treatment plan. I also found that the experience really depended on when I went and which nurse I saw. Some appointments felt more thorough and informative than others, while at other times things felt more rushed or inconsistent, which added to the uncertainty around the overall treatment approach. Cleanliness was another concern. The treatment chair was covered with a very thin paper sheet that easily tears and does not provide much of a barrier. Although the chair was wiped down between clients, the cleaning appeared quick and somewhat cursory, which did not inspire confidence in the level of sanitation. Overall, while the staff were kind, I did not achieve the results I was hoping for after a significant time and financial investment, and I think it's important for prospective clients to have a clear understanding of what outcomes they might realistically expect. read more

I have never posted a poor review as I'm not in the business of hurting small businesses however I wish someone had warned me before buying a package. I went to 4 sessions of hair removal laser spaced appropriately apart and I saw no change/no results. I thought I was going crazy! So I stopped going and went to a more expensive clinic called SEV and after one session saw a huge difference. Their lasers at Westwood are weak or maybe the technicians don't know how to use them correctly. Do not waste your money! It's cheap because it's too good to be true!! read more

Weswood Laser Spa Have been going here for about 8 months, doing inner thighs hair removal. The stuff is very friendly, when green light machine didn't work for me, they offered red light machine and I started seeing results and I like it! The process is quick and absolutely no pain. Sometimes I arrive early, they always take me if they are available and dont make me wait till my appointment time. You can modify the appointment 24 hours prior, that is very nice. What date and time did you call me? I do not have a single missed call from you guys, I was waiting for a call back bc I was told I'd be given a call within 24 hours which never happened. If you did in fact call me and couldn't connect like you said, why didn't you leave a message? You could have also texted or emailed. I clearly wanted to speak with someone since I reached out multiple times. I filled out the waiver form on site, it wasn't sent to me beforehand. So within the minute I filled out the waiver and went into the room a nurse was able to clear me for the laser? I don't think so. I also told the nurse who did my laser that I had multiple sessions beforehand, so with that info why was she using a lower setting? I really hope this info is helpful for anyone else considering this place. read more
