This location is organized, clean, well stocked, and massive. In every other aisle, I saw a friendly, knowledgeable employee reorganizing or restocking. Unfortunately, like all other stores, they lack open registers and the line to pay is a lengthy wait...that would be the only con. Prices range from moderate to high. Restrooms are available. We scrambled for a last-minute change of plans, and it turned out to be absolutely perfect. They were incredibly accommodating: we hosted the birthday party right in the studio, decorated the space, brought our own food and non-alcoholic drinks, and set up a special designated area for the birthday girl and her friends. Laura and Bob were beyond patient and so helpful with the kids, guiding them every step of the way to make sure everything came out just right. The selection of pottery pieces is huge (overwhelming in the best way) and they even surprised us with a complimentary plate featuring all her friends' little fingerprints. What a thoughtful touch! It was such a fun, creative day, and everyone stayed nice and dry. Highly recommend for families, especially when plans go sideways.

I bought a purse made by Lisa Gallegos, her brand being Lalish. It has the Pomona 6Ps logo. Well-made with a detachable strap and inside zipper pocket, for $25. She has an office in the back of OverSpray and a display case in the store. You can pay her by Venmo or Zelle using the QR code in the display case sign.

I found Carpe Diem. The store is small and off a highway in some industrial shops. It's not a huge shop but is not limited in what they have. They are also open every other day due to schools being out of session. And they ask for your drivers license when you go in... I'm not sure why... but it is what it is. I think they require student ID if you're a student. They said they gave teacher discounts too but I was not offered anything when I went in. They had everything I needed and more. I like to get copic refills, and they have them behind the counter. I'm sure it's to prevent theft. Michael's and Blick does the same thing. You can find all the painting and illustration supplies you need. They have a selection of craft woods and tools along with clay, etc.... Carpe Diem is my new home base for the art supply. I'll definitely send my design students here and will be back for all my artistic supplies.

It was like an educational hands on field trip for us. Also a fun way to be more creative and collaborative with another ceramic studio. I had a fantastic experience last year and when I found out that we were going to be able to return this year, I jumped on the opportunity! They provide the glazes, the brushes and their expertise. There were several people helping us during this event. Every single staff member was an expert in Raku. They knew so much about their glazes and combinations, the entire firing operation, reduction and post firing procedures. There's a lot of down time while waiting for the kiln to reach its optimum temperature. We got to ask the staff all kinds of questions. They were eager to interact with us: warm and inviting, full of great advice and really knowledgeable ceramicists. Such great team work!They don't talk down to anyone, even praised some of our potter's art work. I loved hearing people share how they made their pieces, and I was proud to share my own story about the construction of my "bird bath" - as one of my fellow ceramicist called it. The participation between the two studios was phenomenal! Thank you Dave, Erik, Oscar, Mary, Darrell and Elise. Sorry that Scott wasn't with us today. You guys are fantastic!!! My review stems from the type of workers they have here. As other yelp reviewers have mentioned, the workers here aren't the nicest and they don't hide it. They had a new balloon system incorporated within the past year, and I've stood and watched many customer/worker interactions going sour over the balloons. The interactions aren't the best to hear or watch when you're shopping. Other than the type of service you get here, this Michaels is a well stocked location with your typical prices. I come here for my supplies and leave. I try not to interact with the workers unless necessary.

Other bolts had a lot of yards on it, so I asked the lady if she can double check the price for me, because I noticed that a lot of fabric was placed on the shelf in a spot that did not match the price tag and barcode. When I handed her the next bolt and asked her to check, I got a rude reply. "So what, you want me to check all of them?" The disrespectful tone, bothered attitude and "so what" were completely uncalled for. I was polite and did not ask anything crazy. Even if you don't like the work or have a bad day, that is not the customers fault. If I treat you politely, I expect the same.
