I liked how it was connected across the top with a path over to the jumping pillow and trampoline area, which you can also access via the stairs. The foam pit and trampoline area is so much fun, my kids spent a majority of their time here. Definitely still need to come up and supervise your kids, but I found most other kids were cautious of little ones and well behaved. The foam blocks also all have covers on them. The kids also enjoyed the arcade zone, which was quite popular with the older kids. Looked like they had a good selection of prizes too. Only saw one game not working. Food wise they have a good selection of deep fried goodness, also some healthy options too. We got the popcorn chicken combo- comes with half popcorn chicken, half fries and a juice box. It was recommended as the best deal. The mozzarella sticks were tasty and came with an interesting tomato Bruschetta kind of sauce. Outside food is not encouraged.... This venue is quite large and spacious. I appreciated the toddler play area. For the most part my son was surrounded by kids close to his age. The play area was padded and soft so I wasn't worried about my son hurting himself. We spent about 1.5 hours here. This was pretty impressive considering our son's nap time was around this time. He had a wonderful rest after all the excitement! There's so much more to check out. We will definitely have to come back!

The space was loud due to the inflatables. Great for older kids, not so welcoming for the little babies and moms who just want to get together and chat more so. My baby was around 14 months old when we went and he was too small for this space so that is probably influencing my rating and I think an older active kid would probably enjoy it more. To go up the gymnasium portion and slides I had to help my kid along. The little baby area he wasn't really into I think because the toys either were not working or because of the inflatable motors he couldn't hear them. The other interesting thing here were so carousels (coin-fed rides like you used to find in the malls) but you had to pay extra to enjoy them. As with most indoor playgrounds there is a strict no outside food and socks rule. One nice thing about this place was the abundant parking. This place is in the Deep South on Edmonton so if your near this area it's a close option.

And the group we came with chose it because it is actually smaller than many other similar indoor playgrounds meaning that we can better keep an eye on the kids without having to chase them nearly so much. The actual huge climbing structure is well constructed and great for the kids. And there's a fancy delivery robot so this place really has a little bit of Asian kitschy feel to it. But the downsides are that the place happens to feel a bit rundown in places. The entrance has that feel occasionally. The coin operated rides are annoying if you don't happen to have multiple loonies on you (only the claw machine took a toonie insofar as I could tell)... and there are lots of potential add-on charge items like the rides and the games and the toy dispensers. I didn't partake in their menu as we chose to go elsewhere to eat after lots of playtime for the kid, but overall our trip here was excellent. The door was a bit confusing to the building but the parking seemed ample on the Sunday morning when we visited. Operational hours are limited but that's actually kind of okay for an indoor playground space like this one I think.

When I was growing up, you were just "The Creek Park." Later, you were The Creek Park that people built their houses in. I was none too fond of that. Nor am I still none too fond of it. My dog used to go running for puddles that would gather at the base of a hill where those houses now stand. Boo. Anyway, this past weekend I was back for a visit and had occasion to revisit my old running loop. Everything's just as I remembered! The park itself is awesome. By day, it's a great place for a walk or a run. The path running through it is relatively flat, so easy for just about any age to enjoy. There are also soccer fields and baseball diamonds for people to enjoy. When I was in jr high, I used to come out to the soccer fields in the early hours before school and practice throwing a discus (it was the one track and field sport I seemed to have a natural knack for). In more recent years, the town has even added a spray park. By night, it's by far the best place within the town limits to come star gazing (or catch the Northern Lights if it's winter). Park yourself in the middle of a soccer field, lay down and look up.. wwwaaaaaaaay up. It's gorgeous! I also have memories of a family of foxes living in the park. And it's always fun to stroll along the creek in the evenings and see if you can spot any beavers swimming around. It's quite pretty, and enjoyed even more in the presence of friends or pet.

No one returned or answered our calls, so we went out to the site, thinking they were too busy with horses to answer our calls. Their website says they are open from 8 am to 10 pm on Saturdays. We arrived at 4:10. There was no one around except someone grooming their horse. Whoever it was explained that the owners were at a horse show. So I saw a light on in the farm buildings and rang a doorbell. A young blond woman finally came to the door. She feigned surprise that we were there looking for hay bales on a Saturday, and so late (it was about 4:20 by this time). She told me the owners are never here on the weekend. I explained that I had phoned early in the week but no one had returned my call. I asked her if she could text the owners and ask about bales of hay. We waited outside for about 10 minutes. Through the window screen I heard her mocking me to a male companion. Finally she came back and told us she would sell us a bale- do you have cash? Despite the fact that my friend had bought two bales for $16 the previous year, she was firm on $20 for one. I would suggest the following: 1. update the website to include office hours.eg 10-noon Mondays to Fridays . 2. Hire someone to answer your phone if you are unable to. Or, very simply, put a "not available" message on your answering machine. 3. Possibly forward your messages when you're out of town. I was disappointed by the rude and disrespectful greeting we received from the business, both by phone and in person.To them I say "You might not want to sell hay bales. You might be only interested in horse owners' business. But you should not be just plain rude to people making inquiries. Especially when you don't bother answering your phone or responding to messages. Also, if you don't want our business, make that clear on your website. Then we wouldn't waste your time or ours."

This was the place of start and finish line for the MS Bike ride of Leduc Camrose (previously held at the Ritchie Bros auction centre). I worked there as a volunteer - first time was at the food services / barbecue of the finish line, then this year as setting up for the event. It seems like a good place for amateur hockey players, and well located for sports and activities.
