I was initially impressed with how quickly Kenworthy responded to my need for a funeral home in the…read moremiddle of the night, but things were not great after that. My father was being cremated, and when we asked to see him beforehand, they seemed surprised. It took quite a while for them to prepare him for viewing, and the whole thing felt rushed. My father was a veteran, so I was told we would get three free copies of his death certificate. The individual I worked with also told me they would help put together an obituary, which I had to request multiple times. When I received it, they had the wrong dates listed, and it looked like someone else's obit was copied and pasted with a couple things changed. I ended up rewriting it myself. After numerous follow-ups, I never received the free death certificates. Now, a few years later, I am in need of more original copies, so I called Kenworthy for help. They took my information and never called me back, so after three weeks I tried again. This time, I was told my bill was never paid, but I have a receipt showing everything was paid in full less than a month after my father passed. They told me they've "been busy" which is why I never got a call back. To get the free death certificates, I need his DD214, which I thought they had in their file, but apparently not. Now, I have to spend even more time retrieving that, which I could have been doing while I waited for their return call that never came. Honestly, horrible service. I would never go back there for any future needs.
