It's refreshing to work with someone who actually follows through on what they promise. Paul and his crew (about 6-7 people) showed up Thursday with all the necessary equipment and got right to work. They didn't waste any time and were clearly very organized. They even laid down wood sheets on my lawn to help prevent damage from their equipment, which I really appreciated. Calls to the company have so far gone unanswered. Personally, I would never hire them strictly based on that. It seems unprofessional to leave equipment at a job site, spefically a bucket truck blocking access to neighbor's mailboxes.

I sent him a text to ask if he planned on doing it or did he want me to find someone else and he never responded to that question. So, I have given up on him and can only believe he's gotten out of the tree business because his full time fireman position has taken over. A simple reply telling me to go ahead and find someone else to do the job would have been the courteous thing to do instead of leaving me hanging.

A big wind storm at the beginning of October had caused one huge limb to fall on the garage roof which made us realize that we could not delay this task any longer. Of the four services we called Jon's tree service was the most responsive as well as the most reasonably priced. They came out within a few days of first contact and emailed us an estimate within 24 hours of that visit. While they were taking down the dead or dying trees that were threatening the garage we did another inspection and realized we had additional trees that were in bad shape and so we expanded the project. Jon was happy to revise the estimate and was very generous in combining certain pieces of the project, like the chipping and the clearing up, so that we wouldn't be doubling the price. His team was very professional and efficient and we were astonished at how quickly they were able to get down these huge trees without damaging anything around them. Because we had expanded the project considerably we had to ask a family member for some financial assistance and Jon's was very gracious in giving us another week to pay the final installment after the job was done. They were out this morning and were able to safely and efficiently remove the tree from our back yard. The had some access between our house and the neighbors, but the tree was so close to each house it wasn't an easy job at all. They even left us a slice of the tree to remember it by. They were kind, professional, efficient, and when the cleaned up it was like they were never there! I highly recommend them for any tree service! I'd call them again in a heart beat.
