The office space is clean and modern. I use a flex desk which is fine for my needs. The only concern I've ever had is that if you're not here earlier in the morning - and you need a dual-monitor desk - they fill up fast. I've found the people that share the space are very nice. A few tend to get loud on the phone at times, but no worse than if I were to work at a Starbucks. There are private phone areas as well - so most people use those. The staff is very quick to reply and friendly. I deal with Melissa the most and have found her professional and pleasant. The internet has been slow a few times (as stated below), but I think that's more of an issue with the provider versus this location. In any event, when this happens the problem is always addressed quickly. If you need a break from working at home, I'd suggest trying this out. Co-working spaces/office sharing helped me put more structure around my work day. And made me more productive. Can't complain on that.

I have now filled out the contact form online for this place 7 times, emailed them 5 times, called and left voicemails 5-6 times, AND physically showed up to the building and rang the buzzer on 3 different occasions. Is this company closed now??? I looked in the windows and saw a few people working inside on the occasions that I went there, so I don't *think* it went out of business, but I can't fathom any other reason why NO ONE WILL CONTACT ME OR RETURN MY CORRESPONDENCE. What an absolute joke. I am beyond frustrated. If they haven't already gone under, I imagine they will soon if they literally won't let people give them money to work there.

The first issue being that the entire hallway leading to my room reeked of cigarettes (both days we were there). This is gross and frustrating to encounter in 2026. The second issue being that the pillows in the room were overly squishy and offered no support. I called the guest services number at 2am asking if they had firmer pillows. The woman on the phone said they have foam and feather pillows. I requested two foam pillows be brought to my room. I was pretty surprised when they brought pillows that were as squishy as the feather pillows already in the room. Definitely bring your own pillow if you prefer supportive pillows! When I checked out no one asked me how my stay was or anything along those lines. Disappointed.

When I was super duper pregnant I saw an article that a coworking space with childcare was opening in Chicago. My husband and I already worked from home pre-pandemic so I got incredibly excited, but was prepared for the location to be in the West Loop or somewhere like that. Nope! It was down the street! From the moment we went to the open house we fell in love. The space is incredible. Beautiful brick, new flooring, elegant light fixtures, comfy couches, tables, individual desks, pumping/meeting rooms, a kitchenette with high chairs, and an open play space for our baby. But lo and behold, it got even better! We obviously couldn't sign up right away since said baby was still in my belly. In the time that I had our daughter and we figured out how to become parents, Le Village added the option of private offices. My husband and I share 12' x 10' office and it is truly life changing. I love having our own little space adjacent to the coworking area. I've gotten to decorate it, our daughter has room to play, and we have a private kitchenette, bathroom, and conference room on our side of the house. The teachers we've had so far have been so kind and welcoming. They love our daughter, log her feedings, diaper changes, and naps on an app in real-time. I love that they change the activities up throughout the day so our daughter is engage. They are also very responsive to my naggy mom requests (do not let her sleep more than two hours!). We are so excited to be part of the Le Village community! The only downside is that we've only experienced it through a global pandemic so it's been a bit harder meeting people with masks on, but that means we're also being safe! Great precautions taken for COVID. I hear we're going to do some outdoor social events so we'll get to see our parent friends' faces for the first time. Imagine that!

So cool that they have the entire building, including the rooftop. Bridget greeted me at the front desk and showed me around. Fantastic customer service. Each floor had a different vibe. Because I had to take a few meetings, I hung out on a pretty empty floor with a desk all to myself. WiFi was strong and there was hardworking staff cleaning around me the entire time. I walked around the building after I was done with work. Rooftop didn't seem super impressive, but I can imagine dressing it up for special events. Always love when there's an espresso machine in the kitchen, though the music is SUPER loud and the communal tables don't lock. Definitely vintage look with all the old-looking furniture. Overall solid work spot to check out if you're local or visiting Chicago. Spacious and perfect for all types of people and industries. Would love to be around the regulars next time!

I have been here since around August 2020 in the height of Coronavirus, so it's been a little quieter around here. But the energy is still high and perfect for working, studying or even relaxing back with a beverage from the coffee bar. Location is ideal as it's close to EVERYTHING from great restaurants to the lake. The lake is a quick 10-minute walk for an escape to meditate or maybe even a picnic lunch. In the last 6 months, I have seen a lot of change here at DeskLabs for the better. The owner has deliberately built a highly capable and customer oriented team lead by a new community manager, Kiely Cross. She is aces! Kiely and her team are dedicated to created a dynamic and inviting environment for their community. I followed them…read moreon Instagram immediately because what they offer is REALLY useful--an indoor play space and co-working space. But they go beyond just the standard indoor playground; they offer care (play care, in their terminology) so your children are well cared for whilst you bring home the bacon. Their "playmakers" (it's whimsical; I love it) engage in fun and meaningful play and I love the idea that I could be nearby when my daughter is here but actually get work done. Because I was following their social media, I saw that Little Giggles Speech Therapy was holding a class called First Signs here, which is what has brought me to Itsy Bitsy for now. Itsy Bitsy's facilities are really nice and very clean. When you enter, you walk into the cafe area. There's a limited menu but for coffee drinkers you'll probably find something here! There are a few tables as well. To the right of the door is the co-working space with several desks ready for you to roll up your sleeves and get to work. On the left side of the building is the children's play space, and I think it's a smart way to design the place--it helps keep the distraction down. I'm not sure what the youngest age limit is for play care here. I met a woman who's purchased a membership here and her son is about seven months old; mine is only about four so she may be too little for the place, still. But I'm going to ask when I'm back next week for the signing class, because this is a great concept and I think it would be incredibly useful to be able to come here on my remote workdays and the rates are very reasonable. This business also offers open play times and you can rent for events, so it will be a place for me to keep in mind for birthday parties--though parking seems to be street only, and though at least some of the side streets around here don't appear to require a permit the parking is still limited. I'm just loving the concept of this business and really hope to use it more fully soon, and to see the community that builds here.

It's a…read morewonderful space - very clean and organized while at the same time offering so many different activities for a group of kids. It's a bright and cheerful space. It's also very spacious - there's a large play area, a cafe in front where we were able to put food to adults, and a back room for the kids to eat lunch and have cake. The owner was great to work with.
