I didn't get around to using the café or anything like that, but everything at our conference ran very smoothly. One suggestion would be to print the WiFi information in a larger font on the wall! I'm only a young'un and from my seat I was squinting to see it-- ended up not getting connected and my data wouldn't work in there. Otherwise it seems like there's something to suit everyone's meeting needs here.

The GEC hosts networking meetings and other events throughout the week- the sense of community is great. The cafe has good food at a reasonable price. Such as Yelp for example or Dropbox or I think linkedin might have been here when they first came to Ireland. The handyman and woman duo were just a fantastic pair. So friendly and loved a good aul chat when you were making tea. The rent itself is expensive though and if you want to hire a room for an hour for a meeting, it would want to be a very important meeting for the price. Its always kept clean and the caretaker does a good job. The receptionists can be hit and miss but all in all, it was a good place to be if you don't have offices of your own.

The staff are lovely to deal with and the facilties are good, although we've only ever hired the smaller (capacity 20) rooms. It's a handy location, 7 minutes walk from O'Connell Street and there is a huge amount of security in terms of there being a need for access cards to get anywhere in the building. Handy and reasonably priced.

I think a few more quirky touches will help. There is Nelly's cafe to the left as you go and it's nice and welcoming. There is also a healthy shop to the right to buy breads, pulses and such. There are many classes for children, teenagers and adults from yoga for teenagers, gymboree, hip hop, tap dance and lots more. There is a gym way up on the top floor and I haven't trained up there so can't really give my opinion on it other than to say it is small and full of machines to get your muscles working.
