I fell in love with Wexford Jeweler's designs the first time I saw them. When my partner and I decided to finally get married, I knew that I wanted my ring to be designed by them. I contacted them about doing custom work even though we had a very limited budget and I have huge fingers and love big stones and big designs. For about the same price as my husband's traditional wedding band, I was able to work with my favorite artist at Wexford, I told her which of her designs I most loved, what sort of gems I most loved, and she designed me a ring that is gorgeous, perfect for me and a work of art. I was so confident in her work that I planned the ultimate surprise: After I worked with Sarah on specifics like sizing (which she explained in detail and taught me multiple ways to check my sizing, since as with any custom, artistic ring, re-sizing is not as easy as with mass produced rings) and stone selection, I asked her to create my ring and send it straight to my partner, so that he could surprise me with it on our wedding day. It was an awesome surprise, and I was simply blown away by how perfectly she captured everything I most love in jewelry, and how she created a ring that seems to tell a story in its design. My experience was with an in-stock silver with aquamarine ring which I purchased online at their Etsy store. I fell in love with the ring due to the photographs, and conversed with Julie about sizing and payment options. Offered a layaway plan based on a partial deposit, the ring was sized and ready to go by my last payment - and delivered right away, with insured signature service. Happily, the photos were right on and everything I'd loved about it was exactly what I got in the mail. Not only do I love the design and workmanship - it is sturdy and holding up to wear, as well as fitting, comfortable, and attractive - but I am so happy with the courtesy and friendliness I was treated with and availability of a fair payment plan. And, of course, there's the added bonus of feeling that the unique design, skilled work, metal, and stone value all adds up to a total reasonable price which I've no regrets paying! I ordered a simple three rose ring with custom stones for my mom (two aquamarines and one sapphire). Wexford was super helpful - over email they showed me the options for the sapphires (the aquamarines were pretty standard but they were up front about that) and were very helpful with everything. They sent the custom ring very quickly and my mom just loves it (the packaging was also amazing). This was a high level of service for a relatively low priced ring (they could have just ignored me when I asked for so much detail on the sapphires and everything). I fell in love with their jewelry when I stumbled upon their website a few years ago. My fiance surprised me with a stop at this store on the way to our U.P. vacation. This is the best jewelry store I have ever used !!!! Their customer service is outstanding - they go beyond the "extra mile" for satisfaction. If something isn't done exactly as one wants they correct it at their expense. If you have to wait in the store for something they offer you coffee and a "soft" chair. They are always pleasant and offer a smiling face. I will never use another jewelry store but this one.
