I've tried foam rolling the muscle knot out, stretching, hot showers, hot tubs, had my brother come over to do a deep tissue massage on me (nice to have a massage therapist in the family), and the soreness was still there even though everything listed only led to short-term relief. I gave up and started looking for chiropractors to help with my back issue and the general soreness and while rummaging through my health insurance directory, I found Dr. Vivian Ebert at LivingWell Chiropractic. Her office is only a short drive down the road from where I live and I decided to give chiropractic a shot. With me being a "noob" to chiropractic wellness, I wasn't sure what to expect and there was a level of nervousness, but Dr. Ebert curbed the nerves and explained everything in clear detail about what she was doing, why she was doing it, and how she was going to do it. As of the time of this writing, I've only seen her twice. The muscle spasm in my upper back? Gone! After only a couple of adjustments, a few massage treatments, and that muscle stimulator machine they have in the office, my back feels pretty good. The best part (at least in my opinion) is when she cracks my neck. Yes, the popping is loud (only because your neck is so close to your ears), but believe me, you'll be glad she does this because you just feel so much better afterwards. I am a serious fan of Dr. Ebert and her staff. Whether you have actual medical/back problems or just looking for general wellness and trying to be proactive about your health, you need a little chiropractic in your life. And, if you're an endurance athlete needing to work out some muscle soreness, back tenderness, etc...you may want to pay Dr. Ebert a visit. You'll thank her (and my review) afterwards for the relief.

Excellent chiropractor! She has straightened my posture and back relieving pain and fatigue.read more
