He performed the work in the time frame he had promised. He and his crew arrived early each morning, and worked straight through until the day's work was complete. His crew members were friendly, and all introduced themselves and shook my hand. By the project's completion, I knew each of them by name. I've spent my life in the construction trades, and I've never seen a crew work so well together, in terms of being considerate and helpful of each other. Derrick himself was on the job most of the time, and was right in the middle of the finishing process. On the occasions he had to leave the job, his foreman handled everything beautifully. Wow, I just had Duane, the estimator for Seal Smart (cleaning & coating for wood, concrete &…read moremasonry), leave my home where he'd given me a bid for saving a bunch of money on replacing my deck which is discolored to what I thought was beyond repair. There's only one kind of product they sell, they're the only one's to have it. The product is from Canada where it was originally applied to huge concrete bridges. Seal Smart first cleans the surfaces (wood, concrete & masonry) to like new with their eco friendly cleaners and orbital power washers, then they apply the product which maintains clean, 'as new' wood grain look. The product demonstration was absolutely fascinating, it's amazing what great products are out there. Their formula (seems like a hard rubber to me) penetrates the surface and hardens, adding 23% in weight alone. He showed before and after pictures that were so obviously improved. One example showed a cedar house that looked like it needed totally new siding, but with their product (25 year warranty) it was beautiful, and clean. (Made me think that purchasing a 'fixer upper' home with cedar siding could be a diamond in the rough with their product). The fence examples of before & after looked like 'tear-downs' to 'like new'.
