I'm from NY and I don't have as much attitude as these people do. I called to get an idea of pricing and wait time for a saturday night since my group is coming from out of town and we have dinner reservations. The guy simply said "I'm not a mind reader, m'am." Let's think for a minute, you own a business (which will totally fail by the way), your business is open every saturday but you can't give me at least a range in wait time that your business has experienced over the last few weeks? This cab company is absolutely the worst. When we called to ask what time our cab would arrive the representative responded "we don't give times". Wtf? Okay.... Then the mini van that picked us up from the hotel smelled like old chinese food and a corpse. When we asked a few clarifying questions, the cab driver had a complete attitude. If I could give 0 stars I would. Called from our hotel an hour before the time we needed to get to a wedding. The woman who i spoke to was beyond rude and could not guarantee that they would be there at a specific time. Is this not what a taxi service is for? She told me I was wasting her time. and there's no way I would ever use this taxi service. We decided to use another service that seemed to enjoy our business and we tipped them well. I visited the Poconos for the first time this past weekend. Waited at the bus station for over an hour waiting on someone to pick us up. In NYC we are sure with time limit such as "30-45 mins" to pick us up. Driver arrived 1 hour, which he was kind. Following say we decided to call for another taxi to head to the Outlet, we waited an hour again, and I called the company to verify if this was our taxi that picked up someone else. CHRISSY the owner's daughter picked up with the ghastliest attitude. In calling the phone hang up and I notice the cab was coming back...While sitting in the taxi I heard her saying on the radio "Tell her thanks for hanging up and they are suspended". Suspended??? Customers are #1 priority. I pay for best service. Chrissy, your attitude would drive customers like me away from this company. I would never recommend this company to anyone!!! I wanted and swore to be a loyal customer for life based on their first impression. Unfortunately, it does not look our story has a happily ever after ending. I've used them 4 more times since. Second to last time, I had to wait 30 minutes. It wasn't ideal but it was still early enough with plenty of people around and I could wait inside the bus terminal. Last time, I called them while I was still on the bus considering 1) it was very late at night, 2) the bus terminal would be closed, 3) it was cold(er) outside, 4) I had to wait for them yesterday. 2 guesses as to whether a call was there or not. I called and was told that the driver left because he had been waiting for 15 minutes. So I would have to wait for about 20 minutes in the cold, in the middle of the night, by myself. So, as quickly as they won my loyalty, they don't seem to value it and have lost my loyalty since. read more

Completely insane. From not informing you of wait times even when you call back (i've waited over an hour many times), to just hanging up on you. A cab service like this could not survive anywhere else with proper competition. read more

As fast as they won my loyalty they lost it! They were prompt about every time they came and picked me up. Here and there when I would call in the afternoon it would be await but I understood that. This morning something came up and I had to cancel very last minute only because I didn't want to have them wait any longer. The driver tells me that the dispatcher told them that they wouldn't be picking me up EVER again! Why would you want bad blood with your customers? Catching a taxi up here is already a hassle as is because there was an emergency situation I had to handle. That's some BULL. and I'm calling later to complain! read more

I called this cab service at 7 am, 1 hour before my bus departure and asked for a cab to pick me up at 7:30. (Mind you I live 12-15 minutes away from the bus station.) The man on the phone refuses to place a reservation for a 7:30 cab and says to call back when I "am ready for a cab" and one will come immediately to pick me up as their pickup times are "incredibly fast" and there is no need to quote me a time. Okay...so I call at 7:20 for a 7:30 cab and a woman answers and says one is on the way...It is 8:10 and I am sitting here writing this review. Why? That cab did not drive BY (the driver somehow couldn't even find my house, nice...) until 7:55 after I already canceled the taxi at 7:50 because there was no way I would make my bus. When I called to cancel, the woman hung up the phone on me. Because of this incompetent cab service, I am now going to miss an appointment that had to be booked 3 months in advance. Avoid this company, they give garbage a bad name! read more

I just returned from the Poconos. Wgm was just perfect. They picked me up at the airport at 7 pm and got me to my hotel in time for Dinner. My driver was friendly, helpful and on time. My return trip which during the day was also lots of fun. I don't know if I will every get to this part of the US again, but Wgm was great. Keep up the great work! Liz GG read more

This company was horrible. It took forever for them to arrive and our driver was not attentive while driving. He was very rude and starting arguing with my husband in front of our three children. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend using this company!!! read more

I had to write to counter the 1-star reviews a little. My wife and I were vacationing in the Poconos last week with three kids. Our car refused to start after stopping to ride bumper boats. At 5:30pm, local garages and rental outfits were closed. We got hold of a tow truck to bring the car to a nearby garage and he recommended WGM. A quick search showed lousy reviews for both WGM and Poconos cab. The dispatcher wasn't friendly by any means, but not rude or anything. We waited just over an hour for a cab. At that point, we needed to get to the Shawnee Playhouse for a play, and needed to get a bite to eat, so the driver stopped for us to pick up something quick and then got us to the playhouse. The fare was reasonable and the driver was a nice young man. The taxi was a minivan with room for all of us. I asked how long the play was, then called back to request a cab for pickup. The dispatcher (a man, slightly friendlier than the woman I spoke to the first time) told me that they don't make reservations within a 4-hour window and that I'd have to call when we needed a ride. Not great for us, but that's their policy and I'm sure they have good reason for it. I called as soon as the play ended and we waited about 35 minutes for a ride at 10pm. The driver informed us that there were only 2 drivers on duty, covering the whole area. It would be great if they had a fleet of drivers, ready to pick everyone up at a moment's notice, but they can only pay drivers if they have enough business ... I don't think there's much demand for cabs in the Poconos. So in summary, don't expect warm fuzzies and don't expect them to be able to be there in 5 minutes, but they were professional and reliable and I don't think there's a better option. read more
