Its a large…read moresoftplay with a dedicated area for babies and toddlers, a netted football / basketball area, a big (and very scary for us wimps of mothers) slide, several ball pits, soft stairs you name it - it is in there! The equipment is clean and in good repair and whether my 2.5yr old son is there or my 8 year old nephew - there is something for both of them! Peppered around the room are numerous coin slot type rides (which generally the kids play on without them moving!), some fake tattoo machines, bouncy ball machines and a teddy grabber. All extra expense but I've heard a thousand times Mums & Dads tell their little ones that it's broken Darling so most of us get away with not handing over the pennies! The food is impressive - everything from chips and chicken nuggets, veggie chilli and rice, hot panini's fish fingers - HUGE baguettes, salads, home made soups and a large choice of drinks, icecreams and sweet cakes etc. They do have some gluten free items available too. The food is somewhat on the pricey side but of a high quality and very decent portions. There are three toilets, one being a disabled / baby changing room and these are kept clean and tidy. Funky Farm also caters for themed parties and although I've never attended one I have been there when they have been on and they seem well organised and a lot of fun! Opening times are 10am - 6pm Tuesday - Sunday. There is plenty of private parking for patrons.

The other pool is the large one which is freezing but still good fun at a weekend they put floats out for the kids to play with. There is plenty of vending machines for drinks and snacks and a seating area. The changing rooms are large with ladies, mens and family rooms. There is also a good gym and many rooms used for fitness. There is a bar area and two large halls where they play football but these rooms can also be hired out for childrens partys with bouncey castle or wedding. There is many car boot sales and other gigs like boxing held in these rooms to. Great prices and great for functions friendly helpful staff.

Billingham Back valley is a fairly small country park in Billingham. The beck has a nature trail running throughout it with little sign posts and information boards throughout it. It is a great place for kids to go to just have fun and play. Children also love to go there on nature walks which are held throughout the year to search for various wild life. There is a little information centre which has maps and other small token gifts on sale. It is also a very popular area for dog walkers and cyclists.

Well worth the subscription you pay and it is reasonably priced unlike some gyms in the area.

Pellikaan Construction Ltd UK have done a very professional job of the building and should be commended. Unfortunately due to a change of government, concessions to under 16's and over 60's will cease at the end of July so a lot of families and over 60's will be disappointed as the cost to some will be out of their reach. The proposed new glass along the side of the building (being designer and wont be cheap and there are MUCH cheaper materials available) is on show in the building, but maybe if this cost was used instead for concessions for people who qualify maybe it would be a better idea in this time of allround cutbacks! Bearing in mind an already public viewing area inside is available where the public can pay to watch what is happening in the building.
