After visiting the store, learning about the requirements, and preparing my items, I went to have my items reviewed for consignment. Before I even took anything out of car, I popped in to let them know I'd be bringing some items in. gotten too upscale for a consignment store. should be a department store instead of resale. too particular in what they take. when they first started they would take a lot of things that were usable and good to sell. now they try to compete with department stores. snobby salespersons as well. read more

As soon as I walked it seemed like the lady at the front didn't to be there. I asked her if they were taking stuff. She replied, "we can look at it!" Without me even puting stuff down she said we wont take the Davids bridal dress I had. I just walked out. If I could give them no stars I would have. DO NOT consign your clothes, etc. here. They will use and abuse you. On Saturday, 7/22, I took 6 expensive items to consign, all accepted. On Sunday, 7/23, I took 6 shirts, 5 wallets and a pair of shoes. The shirts were rejected, (each shirt must be a $25+ value to consign.) 4 wallets and a pair of shoes were accepted. When I got home, I noticed that the date entered into the computer was 2/23/23 instead of 7/23/23. More on that later. Since I shop regularly at Albertsons (next door), I stopped each day to see if my items were on display. 7/24, 7/25, 7/26: Nothing. Today, 7/27, I went by to see if they would correct the error (2/23/23) entered by mistake (?) They agreed to do so. Asked why my items were still not on the floor, their response was that they were backlogged. (Sorry about that!) Then I asked about the timing. They have a strict policy that, after a certain number of days, if your items have not been sold; the price is reduced. My items have been in the store for 6 days already, so I asked when they were entered into the computer. Without blinking an eye, this woman said: "July 22, 2023". I had all of my items returned to me. I would rather give them to friends. Don't let the sweet talk ("Have a wonderful day!") by these charming ladies fool you and you won't be a victim of their deceptive practices. read more

High end pricing for yes name brand items, but merchandise is very worn, faded out of shape. Not work paying $25 for Ralph Lauren when you can pay the same price at Macy's for the same item brand new. Don't waste your time. If you want used go to Goodwill, they sometimes have items that still have the tags on it. Jeans are in better condition or just go to Ross, T.J Maxx etc they have name brands that are new and less priced. Lady at the counter had a great attitude. Other than that don't waste your time. I'm surprised they are still in business. Though they ARE light on merchandise. read more

I stopped in before Grocery Shopping, hoping it might be a place to Consign. The lady at the register did say hello, that was it. The Inventory is clean and well displayed, although it seemd on the light side and high end of pricing. I honestly think you could do just as well shopping clearance or sales at retail. Also, if it were me and someone were to leave without purchasing, I would be sure a new Customer knew about our Consignment Program. So I looked it up. You need to make an appointment, they give 40% for Check back, extra 10% if you sell in store. There's a HUGE list of brands they don't take including Lane Bryant, which seems odd to me as even though they aren't plus sized, most of society is. I myself am a 14. After reading the reviews and based upon their Inventory this might not be the shop for me. But it might be for you, depending on your Style and Price Points. read more

I've been in the store about 8 times, waiting for a friend of mine to shop. Jewelry selection is nice, but that's about it. There were jeans I would've purchased, but they were marked too high for used clothing, I could've got them new at a retail store on sale. The blouses and jackets were dated and boring. Being a loyal Tot Shop customer for the past five years, it was very sad to see them close. But hopeful when the store was bought by someone new. I have had two experiences with What Goes Around Kids and am highly disappointed and now miss the Tot Shop even more! Here's what happened... we went to drop off some clothing, when we walked up to the counter, the woman was too busy texting to even say hello and held up her finger as if to say "one moment my life is more important than your business." After waiting for awhile until she was done we got a lecture about what we can and can't bring in. Now I fine with being informed, but the delivery was condescending and judgmental. We briefly looked around and found over priced items in a messy order. The second time I came in was to pick up a large bag of items they did not want. There were two other people in the store, both staff, the finger waving lady who gave a passing hello and did not ask if I needed anything and a younger lady who said nothing. After looking around for a bit and overhearing the younger employee getting a lecture from the finger waving lady I asked for my items back. At which time I overheard the finger waving lady interrupt another customer's question, so she could get on with all the things she had to do. (Which is what the finger waving lady was lecturing the younger lady about.) I took my items and left, without either employees saying a word to me. The short of it is, the Tot Shop was AWESOME!! Great customer service and staff, good selection, great prices an all around fabulous place. You will be missed! What Goes Around Kids is a poor replacement, an over priced thrift store with rude staff! We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

I just checked this place out for the first time this fall. I brought a couple rounds of items in during the fall and winter including clothing, shoes, and purses. My items have sold very well, and I have found some nice things in exchange with my credit or just gotten a check when I wanted the cash. The store is clean, nicely laid out, and has ample dressing room space. For those who want to consign, they have an on line account balance you can check that shows your items and the balance in your account. You can also make apts on line and find their weekend apt availability to be very convenient with my work schedule. Finding professional clothing in Albuquerque has always been a bit of a challenge, but this consignment store has some nice options for that, special events and much more. Worth stopping by if you are on the west side! read more

This store in Taylor Ranch is just okay, not fabulous as I would have hoped. It carries a small inventory of supposedly big name fashions. The downside of the store is although the clothing is in excellent condition, most of it is rather boring, conservative and seems dated. A lot of "Chicos" type clothing which might sell great in the NE Heights but doesn't really fit our neck of the woods as much. I am 54, fashion-forward and so need a store with more "hip" clothing for misses. I have been in there about 5 times, bought a couple of things, tried to sell a few and always I walk out feeling like I really don't need to go back. Same stuff, same high prices and so it goes. read more

As both a shopper and someone who has sold clothing, this is a nice consignment store. Immediately, you can tell, the staff carefully hand-picks the clothing being offered and it is displayed beautifully. There is no question you are getting great prices for quality items. Several staff members have been friendly and helpful. I travel from southeast New Mexico to both sell and shop at this particular consignment location. There are many other consignments stores closer to me, but the travel is worth it! Only tip, if you are going to sell, be sure you look up what seasonal clothing they are accepting and all items have been cleaned and pressed. Happy shopping/selling! read more
