I love this place simply for the fact that they have activities to involve the local community in fitness and health outreach. I try to go to the free yoga class offered every Sunday. I believe there is also a running group as well. I really appreciate this community offering and it's been a great way to have a free weekly yoga practice. Thank you lululemon!!!! The products also seem to be very high quality even though they are a bit on the expensive side, they are probably worth the price. I recently discovered that the free yoga class will be discontinued so I'm not sure if they will still be involved as much with local health activities now. read more

Just wanted to give a review to express my disappointment with Lululemon in Uptown. My wife and daughter shop at this store often. Recently one of their shirts that we purchased at this location ended up with a hole in it. She said that it was small and just kept getting bigger. She had not done anything to cause the hole. I told her that we would take it back and I felt certain that they would replace or do something to make it right. Being a company that sells expensive "high quality" clothing, you would assume. Was I ever wrong. They did not even consider it. The management shut down the conversion before it even began. Really disappointing to say the least! read more

After eyeing several items on LuLu's site, I decided that I needed to actually go into one of their brick-and-mortar stores to try a few things on before doing any online ordering. This is because I'm a new to LuLu and aren't sure about what sizes to order. I was a little hesitant at visiting here because given how high-end the merchandise here is, I was expecting the sales associates to have quite a lot of attitude. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that all the staffers at this location were nothing but friendly and helpful. One associate in particular seemed very interested in helping me find just the right items. She gave me some spot-on recommendations, as wasn't snooty at all :-) Also, I liked that no one rolled their eyes when I asked about what was on sale - I won't hesitate to come back next time! read more

I wanted to shop here, but I was driven out by the booming music. Seriously, it was concert level loud, insanely loud, jet engine loud. Come on! In general lululemon is a let down. I like some of their clothing, but the stores are not arranged in a way that makes it easy to shop. While I was trying to cope with the music I realized I couldn't even see inside the shop. Going to the Uptown Lululemon location is always a great experience. You will pay a premium price for the clothes, but it's worth every penny. The clothes fit really well, and they have a good selection of materials for different activities (yoga, running, weightlifting and just everyday wear). I have had a pair of leggings for about 5 years, and they still look/feel great. If you are ever there and not sure what to get ask for Stony, he is great at giving suggestions for both guys and girls and he really understands the brand. read more

Not the friendliest atmosphere. I shopped at other lululemons where they were very professional and knew everything about their products. I would think as a customer that wants to buy expansive athletic wear they would be more open and friendly to help you. No one actually really came up to help us or sell to us. I came here with my sister excited to shop but she couldn't find any of her sizes and they weren't helpful with finding other leggings to accommodate to her. I had a gift card and they didn't even know how to make payment with that gift card so it couldn't be accepted. They didn't seem to know how to process or use that gift card. On occasion, I want to write reactionary review to Yelpers who really rip a place or, conversely, neglect an aspect of a place that must be ripped. I really don't spend much time on chain store reviews, but I need to drop this into the ether to balance a really tough review from Heather L, mainly because I once worked for a clothing store mega-chain (college, whatever pays off those loans, right?), and I happened to really like the clothes. I was a cheerleader for the brand. And yeah, I sometimes got up in people's business. The employees at this location did seem to echo Heather L's description as far as eagerness was concerned. But they were really helpful. My wife had a lot of questions and they answered them honestly, with a giddiness I recognized in myself so many years back when I too was into pimping clothes made overseas for a soulless corporate heathen. These were good people, and the product? My wife is absolutely emphatic that her sports bra is the most comfortable item of bosom protection she has ever worn, bar none, minus about fifty bucks. read more

I reside in Tempe, AZ so jackets are not necessary. However, my recent spring break trip decided to take a turn and guide us toward Colorado. I was in need for a jacket so we stopped here. My first impression of the store was how large the store was compared to those in the Valley - very nice store. I looked around the store and found three jackets that I found online and tried them all on. 1 of 3 jackets had my size and the sales associate kept bugging me if everything was okay. I mean I was throwing jackets around everywhere contemplating which one looked best. I finalized my decision on the jacket that did not fit me but the sale associate had mentioned earlier that if I found something I liked, she could look it up in other stores and give me the item and store number. The woman had retrieved the info on two jackets but I ended up telling her I only needed one. She went ahead and gave me both which was very nice of her to do. I called the number and ordered my new jacket! Great customer service skills! When the stores here in the valley do not carry the item sizes you desire they imply that they order online for you. However, they do not look up the item at the other surrounding 3 stores which are only 10 minutes away! Uptown Lulu, thanks! read more

bought a pair of their almost $100 pants and the corners of the back pockets stick out and after about 15 washings have faded to a very light grey, making the pants look much older and much more used than they are. Took them to Lulu store in Albuq and immediate response was "wear and tear" and that there was nothing they would do. Pants have an obvious design defect--one that you might expect with pants costing a fraction of Lulu's. Lulu does not stand behind its products and is the exact opposite of REI, which has an overly generous return policy. No more Lulu for me. read more

First off- I want to shout from the rooftops that Lulu has the absolute best quality active apparel. You may shy away from the price tag on your first visit- but I would take the plunge into some Wunder Unders and experience the awesomeness! Having said this I will never purchase from the store- only online. Walking in you're instantly acknowledged by staff and that's when the creepiness starts. As soon as your wandering eye lands on something it's over. A friend and I were checking out some nylon jackets and an associate appeared with lots of facts about nylon, "nylon is water repellant, nylon is good to run in, nylon is easy to clean" all while maintaining a Mentos Freshmaker face. We turned to look at something else and she was right there "educating" about a headband (if Im competent enough to get dressed all by myself I think its safe to assume Ive gotten the headband angle down pat) We slowly backed away to try on some crops we had in hand and walked straight into the closest Pretty Woman trying to shop on Rodeo Drive experience I've ever had. Upon seeing the crops I picked out to try on the fitting room attendant loudly announced "oh they're going to show every ounce of cellulite you have- don't try them on!" I told Mentos #2 that I'd take my chances. She then checked the size I grabbed and said it wouldn't fit me "I'm a size 6 here so there's no way you would be a size 4, I'll get you an 8" When I ended up selecting the size 4 day-glo crops I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Did I really just spend 70+ dollars on capris? Did a Soriority Life wanna be just call me fat? Did someone really feel it necessary to tell me nylon was water repellant? The only other interaction I've had with Lulu staff was over the phone a couple of weeks ago, I saw a cute pair of bottoms online I wanted for a themed race. I called and described what I was looking for and asked if it was in-store, "are you not able to come in? Well we have lots of purple pants. Some are darker and some aren't really dark. disclaimer: I am a fan of athletic apparel and I am a fan of Lululemon. My review is mainly geared towards the Lulu newbie because this store was really no different than other Lulu's I have visted. 1. The clothes are very pricey, yep more expensive than that Nike or Under Armour shirt 2. The bras and board shorts are worth the money. I can't bring myself to purchase the accessories or regular yoga clothes for their preices though. 3. My ta-tas are very secure in the bras, and I can always find a bra on sale. 4. The shorts are very hit or miss for me and other "bottom heavy" gals. Big hips little waist? you will become frustrated, however speak with an associate, you may get lucky. A broken clock is right at least twice a day. haha. (I have 2 lulu shorts) 5. The clothes are super cute, chic, comfortable and limited. Who says workout clothes have to be frumpy and just soccer shorts and a boring t-shirt/tank? I think this is the main reason that I shop Lulu. They are semi-exculsive and kind of like a boutique; once a style is gone, it's gone and every lulu doesnt have every item. (this is a good thing IMO). I personally don't like to be in the gym with the same ol same ol that everyone has on. Just remember, you get what you pay for. Taking a stroll in uptown with my mom in search of a Mother's Day gift we entered in this store. I was pretty pumped because I like the products sold here. I have window shopped their brand on Poshmark and was very eager to get the opportunity to buy in the store. However, the two girls up front were very rude. If I am gonna pay $102 for yoga pants the sales people better be friendly. Needless to say since the customer service was definitely lacking I will stick to shopping online or from an entirely different company. I really hope they work on their customer service skills and that management takes the time to train the sales staff on how to appropriately interact with and greet potential customers who are ready to drop some cash on their higher end yoga products. I understand that customer service isn't an easy profession and sometimes people are hard to work with, but that is your job and if you don't like it do something different. read more

I have been wearing Lulu for the past seven years. I am a strongwoman, powerlifter, and everything in between. I live in this stuff, from the gym, flying around the world, to casual dates. As a brand research ambassador, I should submit more input on design. The only caveat I have with the brand is that it is not built for women that are extremely large and muscular such as myself, nor does it support large breasted women. My suggestions are that they manufacture bras in size DD and DDD sizes, and make sizes up to at least 16. I am a 12, but I really have to rely upon the four-way stretch factor. My arms are pretty large, and so are my shoulders, but I have a small waist and I am very well built for weighing 230 pounds with average body fat--I am certainly not obese. The other thing is, they should make more strapless tank tops such as low cut backs, as I hate anything that digs or cuts into my ultra wide, thick, muscular back, and couple that with 45DDD boobs, and that means I do not fit comfortably in any of the sports bras or tanks. All in all, though, Lulu is my favorite brand. read more
