This is a newer Whataburger location. Service is great during the day but a bit lacking at night in the drive thru. This is a 24 hour location. I would imagine it is hard to staff it 24 hours a day. The food is always tasty and prepared just as you like it. The place is always clean. I will be back. read more

Waiting for more then 30 minutes to order my food. I don't know that's the deal but it definitely sucks. It's 1:17 am but it needs a lot of improvement at night but I do appreciate that she is working extra hard and putting dedication when she still has the time to clean the beverage after the soda was spilled and to satisfy te customer and most definitely needs more staff. Whataburger - Fast Food Near Me - Balch Springs, Texas

Always a long wait in drivethru, tonight it took an hour and about 20 minutes of that hour was at the intercom waiting on the operator to take my order. As I pull up to the window the heavy set guy working continued to curse the vehicle in front of me as they pulled away. Not only did no one apologize for the extreme delay, my food was cold. I have been to this Whataburger several times and never noticed bad service until my last few trips. It may just be the night crew but for just a few cars in the drive thru it's taken 20+ minutes on 2 separate occasions!!! The food here is like every other whataburger... awesome! But the management is very poor and orders are messed up every time my family comes here. So disappointed with this Whataburger, it's the only one close to me so the first time I went I was excited. Needless to say I've our food was not all that. But I gave it the benefit of the doubt and I went again. And again and again. Even though every time we've gone it's a disappointment today was the last straw. I ordered something different the patty melt, fries, onion rings, a kids meal with the two chicken strips. I don't live far so when we got home me and my toddler were ready to get our grub on. My toddler can eat he's a foodie. He didn't even touch his food for crap. His chicken strips were hard and stale and when I reached for my fries to dip in his ranch they gave him, my fries were stale and cold. Like what.... so I go to open my burger and even my patty melt was cold, the cheese wasn't even melted it was already hard.. I'm so disappointed like seriously does their food just sit out? I went because since there was a line it looked promising maybe I could get fresh food for once.. smh.. I'm so mad I even wasted my money I could have went to McDonald's and got fresher food. I will not give this Whataburger a try anymore I give up. Just save your money too if you even think about going to this location you are better off going to one further and getting better food. I've never had trouble adding vegetables to justaburger kids meal until i came here. Are the kids supposed to eat a dry ass burger? That's stupid. They said it's against policy. What kind of policy is that bullshit? I'll over these places and their ridiculous policies, but no policy at other establishments. I won't be back to this location. I hate arguing for an order. I work nearby and pop in here often for lunch. The customer service is AMAZING, especially for fast-food. The drive-thru is fast, the employees actually listen to your order, and ALWAYS have smiles on their faces when you get to the window. It really makes my day. So much so that I felt it was worth the effort to write a review on here for a national fast-food chain. I mean the food is the same as any other Whataburger, but the employees here have really raised the bar. read more

We went to whataburger on lake June .late one night they were all happy. people coming in and out .but we were there for 45minutes to a hour .the people that were in and out we're friends of workers and people that there order was not right or the food was bad when we finally got our food we got home .the fries were still frozen are burgers were raw . So we call up there and ask for manager they said who this .we never did get it taken care of .plus we called main office and they have the manager of that store call us .and Nada not even a gift card. read more
