Listen--I know this might ruffle some fries, but Whataburger is a little too salty for me. I am on that "watch your blood pressure" lifestyle, so all that seasoning hits a little too hard. I need flavor, not a sodium spike. Now, my son? Whole different story. He would eat Whataburger every day if I let him. Especially that Mushroom Swiss with the extra sauce--he swears it is "au jus" like we are at a steakhouse. The man is loyal to that burger like it owes him money. So yes, I get the hype... I just have to admire it from a low-sodium distance. If you are not on BP watch, go for it. If you are? Maybe split it with someone or keep some water close. read more

Burgers are always cold have no seasoning on the patties for some reason the patties look kinda grey.I feel like they make a bunch of patties at once and let them sit there till they eventually get ordered.Fries are always over fried and the onion rings are hit or miss. I'd normally never rate a Whataburger so badly but this location has progressively gotten worse and worse over the past couple years. In past visits, I've had plastic in my drink cup, my order has messed up, I've had times where I'd order onion rings only for them to be burnt to a crisp, or ordering large fries only to receive a half full container. It only gets a 2 star because of the one man who helped me. They gave me the wrong burger when I placed a mobile pick up order. I get home & it's completely the wrong burger & received a lemonade instead of a water when the receipt on the bag clearly says water! I went back got it fixed the man was so nice & apologetic. While I'm waiting the front counters girls were laughing joking around as well as some kitchens people even one manager. It goes to show that behavior is allowed & no discipline is being taken place or my order would of been correct. Ordered for "online pickup" yesterday. Went and parked in the "online order pickup" and waited. After realizing that no one was coming outside I called and was told that order pickup closes at 8pm. It was 8:55 and the signs were still outside. Was then told to go through drive thru. Line was very long. After waiting 5 minutes I called back and asked if I could go inside to pick it up. The same guy said "oh we close the inside at 9:00 and it's exactly 9:00 sooo." Line took forever. Then we get to the window and the lady said the bare minimum. Still took a little while, she forgot the two orange juices and then when she did give them to us, we realized one had a crack in it and was leaking in the car. And usually they're just bitter but today was over the top, not too mention they mess up your order most of the time. I tried to order through the drive thru. Don't come here if you want a burger that looks anything like the one you see in their appetizing TV ads for the "A.1.® THICK & HEARTY BURGER®". I ordered one last night and it looked like someone intentionally assembled it and then smushed down on it with both hands and about 30 lbs of pressure. My burger was completely dilapidated, with the only ingredients that were visually obvious being the two buns and one patty. Peeled back the top bun to reveal there actually was two (puny looking) patties and some onion-like topping with some sauce and a strip of bacon. The sandwich barely tasted any better than it looked. I got onion rings to accompany it and they were a shade better but nothing to write home about. They tasted okay but were not crispy. Let's just say that their local competitors have nothing to worry about. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in my 1st experience here...and this coming from a longtime fan of Whataburger. I don't live far from here which makes no sense why my food is cold. Another thing is the first couple times I asked for a side of honey butter, they normally forget it. That's fine, I brush it off, it's normally free. Now today, I asked for a side of honey butter, got charged for it, and they seriously gave me butter. I am stumped that this just happened. I think I'd rather be given nothing than a side of butter. Also, when I had ordered and was getting ready to pay, they did double check with me about my request for honey butter. Our closest W place and it's ridiculous, the waiting time & quality just completely unacceptable.

After waiting 20 mins for food the fries come out cold, my burger is only a little warm. Customer service sucks!!!!
